This was a recorded call claiming to be from the IRS. Recorded caller mentioned that there were 4 serious allegations against me and they would be contacting the local "cops" if I didn't call them back. This is a complete scam. Any legitimate organization would never threaten someone over the phone, especially with a recorded call, that they would be contacting law enforcement of any kind.

This was a robotic call. The voice said we were being sued by the IRS and must call the number given immediately.

The phone number given was 786-765-0258.

The caller ID indicated that the call was from Homestead FL.

My mother was the victim of this crime while I was at school. They contacted her claiming that there was a warrant out for her arrest because of past taxes that had not been payed. They told her specific information about where she lived and they knew that she was divorced. They told her that if she payed $3000 right now, that the warrant would go away. They convinced my mother to go to Target and buy $3000 worth of gift cards. No employees at the Target stopped her or inquired as to why she was doing this. She then sent them all of the money by reading the gift card codes to them. They had her on the line for 5 hours straight. This was when I arrived home. I began questioning my mother, but she was too distraught to listen to me. The scammers then told my mother that she needed to give them more money and that they would call back the next day to get it. After hearing this, I told my mother to hang up. I explained to her that it was a scam. We were both very upset, as the $3000 was gone, and my mother felt like she had been held hostage.

We filed a police report, contacted Target, and called my mother's bank, but nobody was able to help us. We will not be getting that money back. The scammers called back the next day multiple times. We attempted to ignore them, but after several calls, I answered. I told them not to call back and they haven't called back since.

they said i have a warrant out for my arrest. Steve Cooper is the person I was talking to and they will audit me for tax year 2015 and 2016 and they threaten me of freezing my account and advise me to hire an attorney. They said I owe $5986.

I kept asking what state they were calling for and they wouldn't tell me, kept saying that I needed to pay to avoid immediate action.

They had foreign accents

The phone number that they called from is 1-866-258-2247 they called me saying that this is your final notice if you would like more details they want you to call the phone number back to get the detials. They left me a voice message.

I have been receiving calls from a company claiming to be the IRS , threating law suite and Jail time for what I have no ideas and they have call my personal cell pone number 3 times now from different numbers the 2an number was from NY 1315-549-2737 the 3rd time was from Washington DC 202-407-7186 , the 1st time I paid I no attention and just deleted it from my VM but they keep calling

please help

Received a phone call from the IRS stating I owe money for taxes. He gave me a badge number and said that I needed to pay immediately or a sheriff is going to come and arrest me. He never told me how much money I owed and after I asked a few questions he said I was not cooperating and hung up on me.

Scam entered by ScamPulse.com representative in regards to a consumer's call indicating that she received a call from the number 2142004899 stating it was the IRS. The caller said that they were going to freeze her bank accounts and take her real estate. They also claimed that they would take her drivers license and passport.

My mom and dad have received several calls its a recorded message and they say they are the IRS and they are going to sue them and they leave a number for them to call back. I called the number back and it is a foreign talking person.
