I was scammed. They prey, not pray.

They hide behind religion to con the vulnerable out of money. Ive been trying to get a refund for over a year. They refuse. They keep saying ill get it if i do x. Ill do it and they come up with another hoop to jump through. They promised they covered 100% of everything i needed. 800 a month for 1 person. So i paid it, went to the dr and pharmacy i was promised was covered. And was told "we have no idea what this is". Called jericho and they told me a completely different thing than promised before i paid! I canceled. They billed me again despite having canceled. Had to turn the card off. I was promised a refund if i canceled within 30 days. I canceled in a few days. Then was told i was never told i would get a refund (i 100% was told i would). I filed a formal complaint. Now all of a sudden they know about the refund, and i need to do this to get it. I do it. Nothing. They've even gone as far as changing my email address, spelling of my name and mailing address in their system so they can claim they sent me things. Its obvious im out 1600. (They only promised 800 would be refunded, and i figured its better than 0, but they won't even give that now) these people and everyone working their call center/customer service should be in prison. Who willingly works for a company they know is a con? Is there a class action? I've spoken to my attorney before and after every correspondence. They even told me they spoke with me on a day i was out of the country, with no cell service, in a hospital, recovering from surgery. It would have been impossible. When i pointed this out, all of a sudden it was an email. This place is a con.

What I thought was insurance when I signed up for it turned out to be Jericho. I stopped a payment only to find out they try again every two days and when I called to cancel the day they removed money from my account after initial cancelations I was refused any money back. This company is a scam and should be shut down. Lies and theft is the only business they are in. Now I’m down another 300$ all for no insurance.

As numerous complaints show this is a disreputable "company" that should be avoided at all costs. I signed up for this "insurance" in January 2022 and after having seen online complaints canceled right away on the phone. I was told there was nothing more I needed to do and that I wouldn't be charged. They not only charged me, they continued to keep my credit card on file and have been fraudulently charging me for months. When I called to get my money reimbursed I was not put in touch with the right person, but told it would be investigated and that I would hear back from them. I am waiting to hear back and get reimbursed.

Jericho Shares is a scam!

I made the mistake of thinking Jericho Shares is an insurance company, they most certainly are NOT! The day of my appointment with a cancer doctor, I had called Jericho Shares to make sure I was covered for the appointment and made them aware of the reviews I had read. I was assured I would be covered, I wasn’t. The next day I called them up to let them know that I know they are a scam, I was hung up on and my number blocked. How these scammers are still able to operate is amazing. They only had my debit card information and I canceled the card. They should be jailed and made to pay back every dime they’ve taken from the people scammed. DO NOT BE FOOLED, THEY ARE A SCAM!

Out over $3500 and they have covered nothing.

We paid monthly and once we needed insurance coverage when wife had a health scare, we called them and followed Jericho Share Guidance to make sure we were covered. They assured us we were. Turns out we were not as are bills have piled up and they have covered virtually nothing.

Scam beware!

I was as all victims here, they called as health insurance company and lied that they were the best offer amount the insurance coverage and co-pay was cheaper than majority insurance companies. etc etc. once I called my doctors and my drug store they are outrageously expensive almost no coverage at all, and doctors I needed even on their lists would Not take this “Insurance”. Was on phone back and forth with Jericho share and doctors listed on their “contracts” none takes their insurance. I am fighting to get my $1,100,00 back.

SCAAAAAMMMMM - and is it new??

All of the reviews here and on BBB's website begin no earlier than January of 2022. It has an "F" rating on BBB and I am smacking myself silly because I should have looked them up online before signing up. ...Oh, wait! I wouldn't have found anything on them when we signed up originally because that was in mid-December of 2021 and nothing about them was written until Jan 2022! This is so disgustingly frustrating. They told us that we would only have to pay a fee of $25 per PCP and urgent care visit and $50 per specialist visit, and even if a doctor was out of network, they would cover 70% and we would be responsible for 30%. Like I stated, we started with them in Dec 2021, we are JUST NOW (END of May 2022) getting bills from Jericho Share with amounts in the hundreds of dollars of "Patient Responsibility" fees. Also, one of the bills is for a COVID TEST that I took through my PCP's office and was told by Jericho Share would be completely covered with my insurance, but they're trying to tell me that I now owe $381 for a flippin' covid test - had I known it wasn't actually covered (even though I checked before going) I would have literally gone ANYWHERE to get one for free! Seriously, these guys need to be taken DOWN. Let's start a class action lawsuit, please. Anyone know how to start something like that?

I was told I was speaking with a insurance broker who was a government employee and he listed a bunch of options and PHCS multiplan seemed like the best fit for me. The price was too good and something seemed off. They didnt mention Jericho at all. When I went to fill out paper work online with the broker on the phone, I noticed it mentioned Jericho Share. After I gave them all my info, it donned on me to google what they were saying and I found this lovely thread. I said "you guys are scamming me, arent you?" And they said, no way your going to feel ridiculous when your insurance card is emailed you tomorrow. I immediately reported it as a scam to my credit card and got life lock. They sent me a discount prescription card. Today, my "insurance card" came in, not for PHCS multiplan, but for Jericho Share. The letter starts with "welcome to jericho share, a community of individuals and families inspiring grace and compassion." God loving scammers. Trust no one.

I looked up health insurance plans, they came up first. I call them and even asked if this was insurance, so I could go to the doctor, they told me yes. Then when going through the sign-up process, they told me to not go to the doctor for 30 days until my card arrives. (because you can’t get a refund after the 30-day period) once I got the card it didn’t say it was health insurance but, being new at the whole thing, went and scheduled an appointment for the doctor’s. Went to the doctor’s, and they even said it should work. (To get my money) then got a bill for 900$ that I thought would be covered. Called the doctors, they told me sorry my don’t take health share plans. I was like what? So now I am trying too at least fight the three payments on my credit card but because they told me it was insurance on the phone my credit card doesn’t use phone calls as evidence, so now scrambling to try too at least get some money back. They tell you anything on the phone, then cover their [censored] with loads of paperwork. I really hope this company gets shut down. For a church, what they are doing is very ungodly.

Close your bank account or put a block,
these crooks will continue to charge you. Go to the BBB site and bring copies of all the complaints to your bank and show it to them, you can get your money back, I know, I did with my bank and got my money back.

Yes I was taken for 800.00. They play on vulnerability! Never received insurance cards and they told me that Jericho is an umbrella under Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I AM FIGHTING TO GET MY MONEY BACK! THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!

I wasn’t able to access the account and they weren’t sending me the new email to reset my password so I checked older mail that I got from them when I first signed up. I read my temper “insurance card” and saw at the bottom it said that it wasn’t health insurance. I did more digging and went to their actual web page and at the very bottom has a disclaimer saying that they weren’t health insurance and are not legally obligated to cover medical fees.

They gave me a very hard time canceling, I had to yell at the lady when she wouldn’t cancel. She asked what I was doing for insurance and that was insisting I was getting scammed (by a legit insurance company ) lol , because the deadline was in November…. Which you can get insurance throughout the year…she really got me heated and I proceeded to tell her and tell her that she was the scammer and I don’t want to hear her crap anymore just send me to the cancellation center. They did cancel it and I filed a fraudulent claim with bank. Not sure if anyone else noticed but on my bank statements the Jericho was spelled jerico ( w/out the h ) and was listed as a “utility” for a category in my credit statement. Please dispute this claim as fraudulent with your bank and screenshot your evidence to send to them. Hope you all get a refund. I got a temporary refund as they investigate but I have a feeling this isn’t the end of Jericho or jerico reaching out for money. ? they get arrested or shut down

Like every review I've read, PLEASE DO NOT enroll for this "insurance" I was recently laid off and was searching for affordable healthcare options. The agent informed me of this particular "insurance" company and even confirmed my healthcare provider was in the network. HA! My first clue was when I got my "insurance" flimsy (construction paper at best) cards. THIS IS NOT INSURANCE printed right at the top. I called and was informed that preventative care was covered. So, still being ignorant, I went to a medical appointment and low and behold, after I was assured it would be covered, it wasn't and 3 months later received an invoice from the medical office. I had the good sense then to cancel another upcoming appointment, because I was worried nothing would be covered. Again, all preventative care. I even called my doctor, spoke to someone in the billing department and they had never even heard of this "insurance" company. I only wish I had been paying attention from the start when I received my "insurance" cards in the mail. However, I didn't and I'm out about $1,000.00.

Be careful before you enroll in this healthcare shared ministry organization. I should probably try and recoup the money I lost, but I don't believe it would be an easy task. So, I'll just leave it with I was able to help someone else less fortunate than me for the short time I was a member of this organization.

Signed up for what was termed as a multi plan ppo. I questioned the name jericho and the rep out right lied and stated they were not involved. I received my cards. First red flag. The card states at the top ‘ this is not insurance’? Second red flag. I paid my insurance premium to this scam($434.). They called it a ‘DONATION’ Sorry scammers I paid you an insurance premium. Third red flag. I went to pick up a prescription. It was Not covered. I called and they emailed me a Good RX coupon?.So before you get fooled by this religiously based insurance scam think about the above and ask yourself do this sound like a reputable organization and am I going to be covered.

Call your bank and dispute it, you can get your money back. Go in person to your bank and show them the copies of the BBB, it proves with many people filing complaints that it is a scam and if necessary closed your bank account, these crooks will charge you again.

I paid 290$ for Jericho Share. I was told that it was a HEALTH INSURANCE even though the membership card clearly states that it is not a health insurance. I tried to use the insurance to make an appointment at a behavioral center, but the staff could never get hold of my information. I tried calling the health insurance multiple times with different phone numbers that I found online and on the card, and no one answered. I found the main phone number of theirs on my bank statements, and I was put on hold for hours. It took days until finally someone answered and cancelled my membership. I didn’t get a refund however. They STOLE 290$ with their lies.

They said that I had to cancel within the thirty days of the month to get the refund, but I tried calling them so many times and no one would ever pick up. When I had just paid the membership, the lady who spoke to me on the phone told me that I would be paying 290$ a month. I said ok. Days later when I found out what a scam this “insurance” is, I tried to reach out to them using all the phone numbers that were connected to that company, but no one ever answered… until recently a woman answered and said that I would not be getting a refund but she did cancel my membership. after googling new York state health insurance I called (877) 983-7634 and spoke with "Mike" who was very helpful and signed me up for PHCS multiplan PPO he said it would be $311 with no deductible and had all the prices for everything, copays, specialists. I thought it sounded too good to be true but for some reason I just I agreed to it. I gave him my credit card information and was charged $311 with a one time enrollment fee of $125 and was given a bunch of information like id number, customer service number with ext. and how to pick a doctor. When I tried to call him back the ext didn't work and every time I call I get someone that won't let me cancel. He also put me on a do not call list which was really random
