It was for employment. At home position to be exact. The position starts at $25/hour along with they provide the equipment too. But heres the kicker you have to pay for the shipping of the equipment which is $100. Ive never heard of nor seen such in my life! I was so excited when i got offered the position too! Now im not sure how i feel. They also have some sensitive information of mine and i dont know what to do next. I dont understand why people put in so much work to scam people (hurt people). I do have screenshots as well.

I did have a Zoom chat no face time during the interview. I asked just like the other lady advised what bank would I like my funds sent to. They asked my address to send stuff to. I got the job and was supposed to start training Tuesday but I have been scammed before so I didn't trust this position. I had a lot of recruiter contacting me and this one didn't call once or face time since the position is remote. I am glad I look this up due to the company is a legit company but the are not hiring for any remote positions on there website. They also don't have the position I was placed in listed. I decided not to send my offer letter back with my signature.

- Laconia, IN, USA

I was offered a job doin remote work from home. Something didn't seem right because everytime I looked up company name which was Bareley llc, I couldn't find any credentials. I'm not sure if it is indeed a scam, but sure didn't seem right.

I applied for a job online, the “recruiting manager” emailed me and had interview questions from the website with the header and other “real website” identifiers. Asked for banking information (I was scammed before so I opened up another account to be safe) and then said they would send me a check to deposit to purchase the materials needed. From the previous scam I encountered I immediately recognized it.

- Sadieville, KY, USA

Emailed first responding to job application (remote administrative assistant/data entry clerk) and conducted interview via Signal app. “Hired” at $15/hr during training, then $35/hr after two weeks training completion. Hiring letter sent, signed with Docusign (nothing but signature) and returned. Prompt responses via Signal app, did two days of training (6 hrs total) via email and Signal app. Second day of training, told that a check to my name will come for me to purchase equipment listed via email. Decided to look into this and was cautious of scam possibilities. Decided to report.

- Owenton, KY, USA

They contacted me about a job as an Administrative Assistant. Work from home position. They provide all equipment to perform the position. I provided my name, address, and email address. I received a what they call a starter check. The amount of the check was for $5450.00, issued via Official Check. The font on the check did not match like it should have. My name and the note on the memo line, was very different. Took it to the bank and they confirmed what i suspected was a fraud check.

Supposed to be a shipping manager

I did product testing

Didn't receive pay

Now nobody answers phone calls or emails

I was told I would be doing a data entry position. This is a contractor position and payment is 35$/hr, this will be remitted weekly, via Check for the first 2 weeks and they would set up direct deposit after that. I was also told the company will be issuing me a check, this will be for the purchase of all the equipment needed for the project from the company’s local vendor that is closest to my location, method of purchase and payment will be made known to me, once I receive the check, which will be arriving soonest.

Our supply team will begin scanning for vendors around my environment based on the zip code provided in my address. When I ask could we discuss this via phone I was told I would get a call the next I never did. I called the number listed on the site to the confirm the job and the lady on the phone ask for the email address that reached out to me, then she proceeded to say that this is a scam and disconnected the phone. PLEASE BEWARE! Thank goodness they did not get my social or account information!

I’m just trying to see if this is a legit company they told me to buy these checks off amazon and it was a paytolll company
