They were insistent of sending a check and having me purchase company equipment rather than to send company equipment for the job posting, and they could not offer a reason for this that sounded legitimate. Grammatical and spelling errors were prevalent in the person who contacted me's messages, and this person has been reported on here already. Additionally she was pushy, bordering rude, about needing immediate responses in spite of me stating I was unavailable to speak or do an interview at the time of contact due to being at my current place of employment.
Her name is Casey Jones, and she would not answer most questions I had regarding the job its-self, while also stating herself as an HR Representative, but also my manager moving forward as I had apparently received the job after a single interview and no follow up. The Skype interview its-self was all through messaging - no video or voice call as is customary of online interviews.
Upon receiving the job, no rubric was forwarded to me to give all of the information that an average job would entail, such as code of conduct, job policies, etc. When I expressed I was no longer able to commit to this job moving forward, Casey did not respond beyond asking why. No exit response per what an employer or potential employer would and should say.
The website stated for the job, Celestia Biotech, is a convincing, professional website until one realizes it's missing key factors such as a 'careers' application tab, and that the 'contact us' information is incorrect for the listed region of business.

I did have a Zoom chat no face time during the interview. I asked just like the other lady advised what bank would I like my funds sent to. They asked my address to send stuff to. I got the job and was supposed to start training Tuesday but I have been scammed before so I didn't trust this position. I had a lot of recruiter contacting me and this one didn't call once or face time since the position is remote. I am glad I look this up due to the company is a legit company but the are not hiring for any remote positions on there website. They also don't have the position I was placed in listed. I decided not to send my offer letter back with my signature.

Our supply team will begin scanning for vendors around my environment based on the zip code provided in my address. When I ask could we discuss this via phone I was told I would get a call the next I never did. I called the number listed on the site to the confirm the job and the lady on the phone ask for the email address that reached out to me, then she proceeded to say that this is a scam and disconnected the phone. PLEASE BEWARE! Thank goodness they did not get my social or account information!
