How can we stop them from doing this??

I fell for it. I'm so angry and disappointed in myself! I ordered the suit with the "discount"...that was February 12th! The thing is their website is live, still! What can I do to stop this from happening to other people? Their IG has 354K followers...how?! I have sent so many emails.

This person reached out to me and attempted to scam me paying for shipping costs. Nice try but I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS do research before I pay for something that seems off.

I understand a lot of people got scammed and I am so sorry. You have to be incredibly careful always second guess yourself even though it seems “too good.” I’m a stingy person lol and I treat money like my baby always check out who it’s going to before you click submit payment. These people are SCAMMERS

Have not received tracking number after 8 month

Do not order from here. It’s going on 8 months and I still have not received my bathing suit. I ordered it in June 2021. It is now January 2022. I don’t have a tracking number or anything and they refuse to give me a refund as it “is already on its way.” And yet if it had shipped, should I not have a shipping number? And what shipping company takes over 7 months? Any time I email support they say the same excuses with no proof of shipment or offer to refund.

This company never ships their bathing suits. I have several communications from them that my package was in the way, but here we are 8 months later and no product. What a scam!

They sent me message on Instagram offering me a free swimsuit in exchange for posting photos in the swimsuit to my Instagram account.
I paid $25 for shipping fees for a swim suit that was supposed to be free in exchange for promoting it on Instagram. This was about 2 months ago. I never received the swimsuit.

This company convinced you to be an ambassador so they give you a credit towards a purchase. You still pay with e a bit of money then they don’t send your product and cut off contact.

I fell for it too. ? IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS.

I placed my order with the $100 discount code and then slept on it. In the morning, I thought... wait a minute. After a quick Google search, I realized what I'd done.

Contacted Kappa Crew support for a refund. Reported the account that DM'ed me as well as all Kappa Crew affiliated accounts as scams on IG. I also reported the payment as being fraudulent through PayPal.

Wish there was something more that could be done to stop them preying on young girls and making money. The person who contacted me also shared my information as now I have half a dozen (and counting) accounts contacting me with similar scams.

You live and you learn. I shoulda trusted my gut.

Well I have been a victim one of many I am sure. The person who contacted me was Kappacrew.cal Instagram. I was lead to believe that I would be getting a swim suit. And well it has been months. I warn everyone to be cautious. It’s ridiculous what people will do to hurt others. For days on end after the month passed I reached out to them and no answers just lies about the order being filled. And they won’t send tracking. I am very upset but it happens and now I know better

I recently ordered a bathing suit from kappa after being asked to be apart of there sorority which at first sounded so cool and I thought would be a fun experience! Until last week or so I went to dm the girl “Everelle” who claimed she was a manager for kappacrew ambassadors, I noticed she deleted her Instagram account! I emailed customer service which was absolutely no help at all. Can’t believe I fell for this ridiculous scam!

This company scammed me and many of my friends. We all paid the shipping thinking wow this is such a cool opportunity. You have to be a special type of dirt bag to scan young girls. I’m disappointed that I fell for it but it seemed legit. Also the kappacrew instagram literally told me this was legit. I was already on edge and I trusted the business to be truthful with me.

THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. They reach out to women and flatter them with offers to model their swimsuits, which they will send you for free--you just have to cover the shipping: about USD$25. Then they never send the swimwear and keep the money. If you try to contact them, the email will bounce back to you. The "ambassador" who first contacted you is now a private Insta account with no posts or profile pic any more. Search KAPPACREW SCAM online to get an idea of how many people they've scammed; now multiply that by $25. I'm going to see if my bank will refuse that "shipping" payment, but I'm not hopeful. Just really mad at myself for falling for this!

I have been asking for an update every week and they just say they are “preparing” my order. It has not changed its status since I ordered as “ordered placed”. Their return policy does not give back the $25 shipping however I think that’s what they do to make people buy the bathing suit.

I'm also very thankful to have found this thread before making a purchase! As you can see in these screens hots, I definitely tried to pry a lot more than I usually do and tried to get information up front, but this person kept reassuring that "you can do your research, but you can trust us." UH, yeah? No thanks.

After I got the coupon code, I actually got sick so I didn't buy a suit right away and the account was already following up like "why haven't you done it yet, babe?" (Another pet peeve) so that's when I decided to find other experiences like these...

OMG we must have been contacted by the same person! "Babe" this, and "Babe" that, and "Just checking in with you Babe, to see if you'd used the coupon code" and then, they wanted me to join some stupid "sorority" FOR MORE MONEY...I am so angry, I am spitting nails. Let's take them down!

Along with many other individuals on this thread, I also was contacted with a coupon code through Instagram to purchase a suit. I chose one that I liked and applied the code and still had to pay for shipping which was $24.95. I then got a confirmation email of my order and my card was charged immediately. I then thought about it and came online and read reviews, well I then decided I wanted to cancel my order so I emailed them at [email protected] which was the email at the bottom of my confirmation email and I received an email back saying that the email wasn’t valid. I then tried to email [email protected] (which they claim someone answers within 12 hours) well it’s been 10 days and I can’t cancel my order, talk to someone, and no suit. PLEASE do not fall for this scam! It looks real up front but DO NOT buy it!

Glad I did some research before I made a purchase. An account named "kappacrew.faithh" dm'd me on Instagram offering a $100 voucher for a swimsuit to promote on my page. It looked more legit than other messages I've received in the past so I told her I was interested. I was all set to buy a swimsuit from KappaCrew when I realized the voucher wouldn't cover the $24 shipping fee, that's when I started having doubts. A quick google search confirmed that this company is indeed a scam and I am so glad I didn't give them my credit card information.

Mine is the same experience as everyone.

I commented on their “ambassador” page to put the red flag up and now that page is private.

Report them to the BBB by filing a complaint, it’s really easy, and the BBB will help resolve the problem. And once enough people report they’ll be shut down.

This is just a [censored]ty marketing scheme to make you think you’re getting 100$ to out towards one bikini when really they’re cheap SHEIN bathing suits marked up but then u pay 25 in shipping which actually makes them money as these bathing suites are probably 5$ in reality lol got contacted today and was interested until I saw that shipping is 25

kc.calliee wrote me some days ago about to be kappacrew ambassador, I thought is good idea and agreed. I wanted to pay shipping 23$ of swimsuits which they offer "for free". I saw followers of that page were just ambassador managers. It was very weird. So I started to look about it. I am so thankful I found all these comments. Now I am sure it's scam. I was happy I didn't spend my money for nothing.
