Alex Martin called to offer me a loan with favorable terms and a nice APR. However, I became suspicious because he had a very strong Indian accent and the email he sent came from [email protected], which seemed odd.
To clarify, I called Alex Martin back and asked more questions about his company. Instead of providing clear answers, he repeatedly requested my photo ID. When I refused, he became upset, accused me of being a bad customer, and implied I was hiding something. This raised further red flags for me.
Five minutes later, Alex Martin called again, asking me to contact his Senior Loan Advisor, Kevin, at 516-462-3566.
The whole situation feels off, and I'm quite concerned about its legitimacy.
