I was contacted on Instagram messenger about some shoes I was looking for. username: kickxgone_crazy; we came to an agreement for $300 (that included shipping) for a paid of Jordan 1's Lost and Found shoes. I confirmed how they did shipping (ie: providing tracking numbers, etc since I had just been scammed by someone else). This was on Saturday, 1/7/23. He said his name is Ethan. We went back and forth a bit and I felt he was on the up and up. I sent funds for $300 through Venmo to his counter part, John Wunner - Venmo account (@Popeyes-2), last 4 digits of phone number is 6784 on 1/7/23 and then $150 through Venmo to the same name on 1/8/23 for a 2nd pair of shoes. On Monday, 1/9/23 i received an email and text with my tracking number for my order from UPStranslogistics. Email being used is [email protected] and cc'd on the email is [email protected]. I was then instructed on Tuesday, 1/10/23 that I needed to send $250 through Zelle for insurance. Zelle used is Victoria Olo ([email protected]). Then on Wednesday, 1/11/23 they said I needed to send an additional $200 for customer clearance fee. I was extremely hesitant and confirmed with the person I was corresponding with on IG and reluctantly paid the additional $200 through Zelle to Victoria Olo again. They then told me an additional $250 was needed and I just knew this was a scam. The phone numbers I corresponded with that represented UPStranslogistics are 559.530.2460 and 310.807.6163. I sent a total of $950 ($500 through Venmo and $450 through Zelle). I googled the UPS translogsticis which I should have done sooner to find out it was all a scam.
