Totally disappointing.

Its a cover letter and they send it out to everyone they can hoping to get bargains. They leave themselves a lot of "outs" so they can cancel the transaction at any point to their advantage.
It is basically a waste of time.

Worked great for me

I received a letter from land buy hub for a piece of land I inherited from my parents. I was very hesitant to do anything with them after reading reviews on here but I called and was able to speak with Mike the owner of the company. My property was in TN and we discussed the price and came to an agreement. I signed the paperwork and we submitted it to Admiral title a title company in my area. Admiral had nothing but great things to say about Mike. This made me even more worried so I attended the closing in person. Sure enough, Admiral title is a great reputable company and Mike has done many closing with them and sometimes sends them lunch. I could not believe my ears. If you ever wonder if the company is accurate I would recommend calling Admiral Title in Anderson County TN. They really helped make me feel safe. Now I realize people write false reviews because sometimes Mike discovers something wrong with the property and has to cancel. He explained this to me upfront and I plan to sell another property to him this year.

Type of a scam: Identity Theft

I was sent a letter wanting to purchase a piece of land we owned with a purchase price listed. Soon after was contacted by Mike's father called and said Mike would be calling us back. Mike sent over the offer and said he would set up everything through a title company to finish the process. He asked us for all our personal info including our social security numbers, said to file a form to the IRS. Then when we went to the appointment the title company said he had canceled it with no explanation. When I called he said that the way the properity was titled it would cost too much to retitle which I know to be an out right lie because it can be done for $300. I believe it was an scheme to get our identity info. I will be reporting this to the FBI as well.
