Type of a scam: Online Purchase

So I am searching for a car for my child. I decided to look in Craig’s list. The individual listed above Lisa had a 2007 Santa Fe listed for $1,058.00. I emailed her directly and asked if it was a legit deal. She said that it was. And told me that her husband had recently died and she just wanted to get rid of the car. She also told me that she had moved and it was another reason she needed to get rid of the car. I told her I was very interested and that I could come to her on Tuesday with cash. Well she emailed me back and told me that she had mixed to MN and that the car was now with eBay and they would deliver the car and handle the payment. The next day ‘eBay inc.’ Sent me an invoice with and order order number and instructions on how to pay. There was also a phone number. I called the phone number and questioned the individual who answered about the process and the location of the car. I also questioned him about the legitimacy behind this purchase. This individual hung up on me. I am almost positive that it is a scam. No money was exchanged. This Lisa keeps asking me to complete the transfer with eBay, but since they only want you to pay with ebay gift cards I decided it’s probably the best way to lose 1000.00 in under 20 seconds.
