I received a phone call yesterday from a number of just 3 digits, 202. It rang once and stopped. Then immediately rang again. I don't usually answer unknown calls but I was curious so I answered it. A very polite, friendly lady starts telling me about a judgement against me and they are trying to locate me. I went through this with these same people about 6 months ago and I actually called the county with the bogus case number and was told it was a scam and that they had just gotten off the phone with someone else who had the same issue so I already knew what was going on and I ended the call. Last time this happened they called my sister and one of my sons. This time they called my sons' father. A man who abused me horribly. A man who only recently yelled to one of my sons that he was going to "[censored] me and kill me". For the last 40 years I have had nothing to do with him outside of what concerns my sons and do not want him to know where I am or anything about me. WHY? I don't understand why these people are being allowed to use such disgusting low tactics and they have not been put out of business.

This person called five family members including my place of employment. All stating the same thing to all and left a voicemail, saying:

This urgent message was intended for "my name" I am Ashley Mills contacting you from location service unit in regards to a formal complaint filed that has against you. You are scheduled to be served a coordinate summons at your place of employment or your home residence. You are to appear in Camden County District Court. It is your legal right as the defendant to contact you immediately at 877-753-8761. Please be sure to reference case # *******. "XXXXX" You have been legally served. When I called there, they were slick asking for my SS number to confirm they were speaking to the right person. Man became very irrated when I said if this is a legal matter they should have this information. A woman by the name of Ashley Mills then gets on the phone stating I owe money for a pay day loan to National Lending which I never had and mentioned an old bank I used to use over 9 years ago. I ended the conversation saying fine serve me the papers and I will see you in court!

My daughter and my mother were contacted 3 times in the same day, by phone, stating there was a claim filed against by my county. Both my daughter and mother said the caller was intimidating and scary and could not or would not answer any of their questions about what company did caller work for or who was he calling on behalf of, etc...
The next day this voice-mail was left on my cell phone.

"Shelly this is Travis Freeman. I'm contacting you in regards to your claim in the process of being filed into Kern County. I'm sorry for not reached out to you several times over the last few days. All correspondence have been ignored. At this point you left us no other choice but to forfeit your legal rights and proceed to have you located. We've now verified commercial as well as several residential locations. Understand you do still have the legal right to contact the office filing the claim and I'll provide the information to that office once again just so there's no way for you to state you had no prior knowledge of this matter. Phone number provided for that office is 855.221.0538"

It was a completely different voice than the one who contacted my family.

Oh yeah, my name isn't Shelley. I called the phone number and no answer. Just a recording stating" the person at this number cannot receive any new messages".

A Mark Williams called & left a message on voicemail. He said he is calling from Location Services. He warm he he had permission to call my employer (I am retired) & family members. He threaten me with legal documents to be filed in my county. Gave me a number to call, 833-751-3161. Gave me a claim number. I owe no one anything. I have blocked his number. Is there not anything anyone can do to do away with this company that is trying to scam people.

Evelyn Harold called my cellular phone who I talked to for a brief moment, she was very nasty & aggressive with me. She left me a voicemail message saying the same thing on the message as she said to me:

I've been instructed to get in contact with you regarding an active order of location that is getting verified to be filed against you. I need to inform you that a this point the office for your case has instructed me to contact your place of employment and inform them of they intending to send someone out to have you processed on their premises if there's been some sort of misunderstanding you need to contact the office directly at (833) 859-0794, you also need to utilize your identifying file number being____________.

She then called my place of employment, which is a law firm. Same lady asked to talk to my supervisor. I was so shocked she called my employer that I called my boss (a lawyer) and asked him to talk to her. She said the same thing to him, when he questioned her she repeated the same nonsense which made no sense and hung up.

This "location services " scam is horrible ! It's bad enough that I'm being threatened with bogus fraud charges but now they are contacting my family members, including my son who is in the military , saying they will file charges for evading legal action if I didn't call them by 3pm. My family members don't have time for this and its embarrassing. I don't know how they got their phone numbers. This **** has got to stop.

I recieved a call from a lady at "location services" saying they've been trying to serve me legal papers from Maricopa county threatening me with legal action if I don't verify my address There was no name on my caller ID. I said I wasnt going to give out my personal information over the phone and I asked again who the legal papers were from and this time she said "CCS". I said I will contact them directly and she gave me a number that wasn't in service . I had a feeling it was a scam. It really disturbed me because of how the lady was threatening me . I don't want them contacting me anymore.

I had a similar call

Called twice in one day from a company called “location services” who wanted to let me know someone was coming to my house to take my husband to court. She would’nt give me any more information stating “privacy laws”. The phone number pops up as “no caller id” She just wanted me to “verify my address” and when I told her I wasn’t going to give her any info because I knew this was a scam she hung up. She said her name was Kim Miller.

I keep getting calls from Jessica Dunn with Location Services. She is saying that she is trying to locate my sister in law for a legal matter. She says the information given to her was confirmed by the county she lives in. Then asks me for my sister in law's address so they can locate her for a legal matter. She even gave me a phone number to call and a case number. Once I started questioning her she said I was asking too many personal questions and hung up on me.

Davis? I got one today too

- Florissant, MO, USA

All this person said was that her name was Tracy and had a ticket number for something but she stated she was looking for me and that it had to do with court. She didn't state what the actual issue was.

Female from location services called and left messages that a civil complaint had been filed against me and to call her immediately. She threatened to call my employer. She said I should hire an attorney. Then she started calling and leaving messages to friends and family. She had all of my personal information and even repeated what I had said on social media. Certainly a scam due to I don't owe anyone.

I received a call from an unlisted number so I naturally avoided the call, and then I received a call from Jordan Sanders from Location Services Unit who told me that a formal complaint had been filed against me and I was going to be served but did not mention what the issue was. Then, three of my friends (who I have used as references in the past) received the same call from the same person. I backtracked the number and found no credible company but just numbers connected to some kind of scam operation. I need them to leave my alone and more importantly, my friends and loved ones who think that I am in some kind of dire trouble when in actuality I'm being harassed by scam artists.

The name given by this company was Rick Vargus. I was told I was going to be served papers for criminal investigation. My employer was contacted as was I. When I called the number they tried to tell me I owed money from a previous loan and that I could settle with them or they would be at my home or employment that day to serve me.
