Once he pulled her and posted video, he collected pledges (including mine of $200). He then had Mona euthanized rather than using the money to save her which was the purpose for which I (and others) donated. There was a medical option for Mona which we had been given and euthanasia was not necessary. He has not returned my $200 although I have requested the refund twice. It seems clear that his intention was never to 'save' Mona, but to collect pledges which he did--at my calculation between $2000- $3000 in total.
