They engage in fraudulent activities and take your money. The customer experience is intentionally unclear and can lead to confusion. I attempted to register using Apple Pay, and although a $1 charge appeared, I received a message stating that I was subscribed without my knowledge.

When I checked the subscription section in Apple Pay, there was no trace of it initially. However, several days later, I was unexpectedly charged for the subscription. It turns out that the subscription is concealed deep within the app, making it nearly impossible to discover.

To resolve the issue, I had to uninstall the app and cancel the subscription. I reached out to their support, but all I received was a response stating that they have a strict no-refund policy. This is blatant theft.

I filled in a quiz about fashion, expecting a free or almost free result. First I paid 0,99 with consent then 49,00 euro was withdrawn from my Paypal account without my consent. I acted immediately. They refuse to pay my money back. I never used their ‘service’.

The exact same thing happened to me with the exact same reply, that the $.99 I paid was actually a 3-day "trial" that automatically kicked in to a $49.99/month subscription. Totally without my knowledge or consent. Fortunately PayPal was quick to cancel the charge and American Express was excellent as well. LUMI IS A SCAM. I never used the service or even looked at their website. I have NO idea what prompted me to pay the 99 cents in the first place. I guess it's a lesson that if it sounds too good to be true, it's probably a scam!

Same here but after reading the reviews, I cancelled the service asap (same day) within the 24 hour window. They tried several times to withdraw their ridiculous $49.99 fees. I’m still disputing it AGAIN. They’re relentless.

Lumi stylist scam

I had the exact same experience that the above Brenrick07 had.First I paid 0,99 then 49,00 euro without my consent. Can we act legally together and make this scam more public to warn other people? Mailing does not help. They refuse to pay my money back. Of course, because it is their way of making money in the first place. I will report to Facebook and Instagram so they hopefully stop their advertising deals.

I saw this company while I was on Facebook, I was interested in there .99 cent sample of what there business was about. I did NOT approve or seek out anything more from them. I hadn’t received ANYTHING from them. I then checked my PayPal account, and verified the .99 cents was paid out to Lumi. I checked my email there was nothing there l, I even checked my spam, there was nothing. Today I checked my PayPal account and I find out Lumi took $49.99 out of my account, I instantly got with Lumi and they are refusing to credit my funds back to me. Please help me! I am on disability and fixed income. I would NEVER buy into a useless service as this. Thank you Brenda Watkinson

Cancellation hasn't happened yet

I signed up around August 2022. The cancel button on the website didn't work,so I emailed support. After several attempts to convince me to change my mind, I was sadly bid goodbye ... and told to use the cancel button, which doesn't work. Today I contacted my credit card company as I have had 2 charges since requesting cancellation. My account comes up as "not subscribed" on the website, but the charges keep coming through.

If you've already paid, start the dispute process sooner rather than later.

There is no fashion guide. The chats end the conversation once you ask a question. If you paid for the trial subscription please cancel it as soon as possible! Their website doesn't work past the welcome page so you have to cancel ot directly from your paypal if you (hopefully) paid from there.
