Shop stated they were offering free letter board just pay shipping. Once paid they sent me a shipping confirmation shortly after. That was a month ago and never received it. I joined a Facebook group that suspected a scam and over 2,000 people had the same tracking number for shipment. The shops website, email and Facebook are now deleted and no way to get in contact with them.

- Grand Rapids, MI, USA

I ordered a letter board from this website claiming they would send it if I pay only shipping fee. It sounded too good to be true and I ordered extra letters along with the letter board, but after ordering them they never updated their tracking information and I thought it was weird that it would take over a month for products to arrive. I tried emailing the business but found out their website, fb page and tracking information was all gone. I found a Facebook page with thousands of people who were scammed by this business and that's when I knew I wasn't the only one who got scammed.

Ordered a free pay shipping product plus two other not free products and didn’t receive anything. Website tracking etc is all gone. See many others had same experience.

An ad on Facebook from this company, Magnolia Craft Shop was offering free letter boards. The only charge due was shipping and handling. I purchased add-on items. My purchase was made January 21st, 2019. Payment was made through my PayPal. I have not received my items and upon sending an email to the email provided for customer inquiries, I found that the email does not exist. Also upon searching Facebook for the business, the page is gone as well.

Facebook sponsored ad for free letter board, just pay shipping. Paid shipping but never received. Website now closed.

This company had a promotion for a free letter board. I ordered one and provided my credit card. I received a confirmation email that it would ship shortly. The money was taken out of my account. Upon checking on the status of the order, the website was shut down and I was no longer able to email the company with the address provided. I have not received my product.

Magnolia Craft Shop was advertising a free letter board and in order to get free shipping, you had to order another item. I did, extra letters at $4.95 so that was my total. I was sent an email that my order was on its way on January 24, 2019. I reached out to the company on February 2, 2019 via email regarding my order and the email stated: Thank you so much for your order. Chinese New year is being processed. That's why order processing is a delay. All orders are being processed as they were taken. We are so sorry for this inconvenience. As I was on my social media account this morning, I noticed a post about Magnolia Craft Shop being a scam. I sent another email regarding my order and this was the message I received: Address not found. Your message wasn't delivered to [email protected] because the domain magnoliacraftshop.com couldn't be found. Check for typos or unnecessary spaces and try again.

I went online and order a free letter board which never came. The website is www.magnoliactaftshop.com. It says that the package is coming from China. I tracking it online and it said that I can’t be tracked. I called the United States Postal Service to track it and they said it was in China and that I was going to be shipped to Maryland. I don’t live in Maryland and trying to figure out why is it going to Maryland when in live in Louisiana. There is a facebook group that is saying they are scamming people out of there money. They don’t have a number so I can’t call them. I can only email them. They haven’t emailed me back. A lot of people have been scammed by them. Is there something y’all can do about this. There is no contact information beside there email.

Purchased 3 letter boards and 2 extra sets of letters, go a shipping confirmation. Never received item. Started trying to email customer service and the email was no longer valid, then tried to find their website and it was gone, then tried to find them on Facebook and it was hone as well.

I noticed an ad on Facebook for a 'new' shop called Magnolia Craft Shop that was advertising free letter boards to 100 people. I thought they were cute and have been wanting one, so I clicked on the ad and it showed me a number of how many that were left. I thought I was lucky there were still some left and quickly grabbed my free board and added some letters onto my order. I purchased and was sent an order confirmation email. Everything seemed legit.

5 days later I receive an email saying my order has shipped so I checked the tracking number which said it was coming from China. I checked it multiple times over the next couple weeks and it never moved. I checked again a few days ago and got an error message. The website had been deleted. That was when I searched the company on Facebook and found out everyone else had the same issue and that it was a scam.

I had to call my credit card company to let them know and they cancelled my card and are sending me a new one.

Luckily no other charges were made to my card.

I made a purchase on their website. I got an order confirmation and have been waiting on my shipment which never came. Since then their site and website have been shutdown and are no longer available.

I ordered a free letter board with additional letters from the on-line site Magnolia Craft Shop. I did have to pay for shipping. Per my bank account they took the money on January 22nd. I received an order confirmation via email, along with a tracking number on January 24th. A couple weeks had gone by and I had not received my package...so I checked the status and it said it was still in China. I went to email the company and never heard anything back. I checked the status again today and my email bounced back saying the company is no longer existant. I tried emailing the company again, and that email bounced back saying it could not be sent due to no found user domain.

- Tucson, AZ, USA

This page is a scam. They were advertising free letter boards if you paid $2.97 (shipping). They sent an email confirming purchase after 2 weeks and the tracking said it was being shipped from china and there was no shipping information from the U.S. Its been about 8 weeks since i ordered and now the tracking page has disappeared, there's no way of contacting their costumer service phone or email (it says they don't exist)

- Johns Island, SC, USA

Magnolia Craft Shop was a Facebook ad online where they were selling arts and crafts, etc. The main item they were promoting was a "free letter board" where all you had to do was pay for shipping and handling but also gave you the option to buy additional items. I paid a total of $22.85 on January 14th 2019. My bank account got charged. I got an email confirmation with my order number 3161 saying it was on it's way on January 24th 2019. I never received my order. I believe maybe it was coming from China? Now you can't access their website because it's been shut down. There is a Facebook group with 1.6K members affected by this business. The Facebook group is called "Magnolia Craft Shop/Mint N' Trendy Customers Searching for Answers"

- Clarkston, MI, USA

Offered an item (free letter board) for only the shipping cost ($2.97). Sent two emails (order confirmation and shipping/tracking email). The product never arrived. The tracking links in the email no longer work, the social media pages are gone, and the website doesn’t work.

- Boise, ID, USA

I made two purchases from Magnolia Craft Shop through PayPal. Both purchases were charged immedietly. When I tried to check on my order status the website was gone. I emailed them and my email came back as undeliverable. Their Facebook page was also gone, that is when I came across a page that was for people who had been scammed by Magnolia Craft store. There is over 1400 members on the page so far that have been scammed by them.

A friend posted about a sale Magnolia Craft Shop was having on Facebook to celebrate their first “birthday” as a business. They were offering a free letter board, you pay only shipping.

I’d seen other legit business do things like this, so I ordered one. About a week later I got a shopping confirmation. Now, when I try to track the shipment, it won’t even let me track it and the email address says it is not valid.

There is a group on Facebook of over 1200 people who have also had the same experience.

- Glenpool, OK, USA

I saw an ad on Facebook, like thousands of other people, for a free letter board and I ordered two plus two sets of extra letters. After 2 weeks of nothing, even after getting an email saying my order was on the way, I emailed and got a response that China had their new year and that was why things were slow getting processed:

"Thank you so much for your order. Chinese New year is being processed. That's why order processing is a delay..

All orders are being processed as they were taken.

We are so sorry for this inconvenience"

Since then, my tracking number disappeared, the website has disappeared, the phone number associated with the paypal account they used to get paid has been disconnected and I'm left without the products I paid for.

They had a Facebook ad offering a free felt letter board, you just pay shipping. The owner "Wendy" said she was just starting out and wanted to get her name out there so that's why she was doing this offer. She encouraged people to buy more items to support her and her kindness with the free offer. I only bought the letter board ($2.97 shipping). I received a tracking number that I had been following from China for the past month and today it was delivered in Maryland (I'm in Illinois). I went back to my confirmation email to make sure I didn't get the tracking wrong, and discovered that the website no longer exists. After googling, I found that many others are in the same situation. The company is known to run under other names to conduct the same scam.

There was an ad on Facebook for a free letterboard and all you had to pay was shipping. There was an option to add accessories, which you would have to pay for. Supposedly this was a small business run by a woman named Wendy. I only ordered the letterboard and paid shipping of $2.97. I did receive a shipping confirmation a couple weeks after the order was placed with a tracking number from China. I assumed it was based in the United States even thought I couldn’t locate an address on the website.

The last update I was able to view on my tracking was that it was on its way to the United States to clear customs. The next time I checked back I was directed to a Shopify site saying the shop doesn’t exist. I sent an email which was kicked back to me.

I asked PayPal for a refund. They told me to contact the merchant. I emailed back saying the email address and website are no longer active and have yet to receive a response from PayPal.
