They texted me saying that Manuel Franco was giving away money and that I had won. The number I was told to text wanted me to send $300 to claim my prize.

I just received this text message today about Manuel Franco giving away lottery winnings to 200 people, and though I knew it was a scam, I looked up the name to see if it had been reported by others. Apparently different scammers have been using Manuel Franco's name for years sadly. There is also a name Brian Koehler and his phone number (650) 560-4206 attached to this text message, saying to contact him as Manuel Franco's agent, for more info.

I received a text message from a Manuel Franco saying that my phone number was selected in a spin ball to get 20,000 from him because of his winnings of the lottery and told me to watch a you tube video and to text a April Ann in order to get the the money and they asked me to send a copy of my ID CARD front and back for a Verification process then they needed my social security number to Complete the verification process I did everything and I told my husband what I was doing after the fact that I had already sent all my information and he informed they indeed its a scam and they just tried to use my information for ID.ME so I'm reporting this because I can't afford to have my identity taken

I have been receiving text messages all this week. The texts state a gentleman has won the lottery and wishes to share part of the winnings with me. They asked for my full name and address to send 2 checks. They said I can clear the checks with my bank ATM. However, there is a $50 processing fee. there was a $50 processing fee. They sent a picture and a video of a lady who has received $150 cash. Then, they continue to text me and urge me to get my winnings. I knew it was a scam because ScamPulse.com previously told me that if I had won something I do not have to pay a fee.

Well this person scam me really good and took advantage of me and I was very Is gullible person and yes very stupid too to believe that it was real and yes I am disability and such an yes to think there was a good person in the world now I am laugh at an I bet I get made fun of for my stupid ness and stuff I deserve it for falling for something like this

I got the same text. Then the "attorney" in charge of my winnings texted me. When I said I didn't feel comfortable giving out my license he sent me a picture of his which wasn't even the same name as he had introduced himself with first. We're asking about this he said it was an assistant at the office but still couldn't send me an idea with the name that originally came through as the attorney's name name

I just received the same text as everyone else (twice) but the number was 609-810-9386 & I was told to send a copy of my ID to the agent in charge, Cassandra Beneditte through text at 432-423-8117. Sounds like all the messages are the same but they just use different aliases & phone numbers.

Received a suspicious text message. I did not call the number listed. I instead, googled ** ******** name and found several articles indicating the text message was a phishing scam. I am reporting the origin number and the call back number listed in the scam for your record.

I got a text that lottery winner Manuel Franco from WI had drawn my name to get $20,000. I'm supposed to respond back to Jeffrey Steven with a copy of Drivers License front and back and Social Security card. He says he needs the IDs to put in his IBM portal to see if they match up. I told Jeffrey I was scared to send them. He sent me a picture of Alma *******' drivers license. I went to Manuel's Facebook page, and there is a picture of him holding a check, and it says he's going to give $20,000 to 200 followers.

I received a text telling me that I won $12,000 from the Manuel Franco foundation because my cell # was picked in a lottery. All they needed was a picture of my Driver's license for verification.

Hello. I didnt count the emails from this organization but there are several. They need to trace all these numbers and put a Stop to these people doing this sort of thing! I have pictures of my texts. Hopefully this will Stop!
