This person poses as a friend and told me that he can fix the car. There was no receipts that has been sent to me or insurance about $6000 estimated cost, the repair took 2 months and it was really hard to talk to him or bodyshop. I figured out they are notorious scammers around here and they target poor people who does not have enough money to fix their car. Long story short after 2 months I got my car back and it was all messed up and all the warning lights were on and the hood does not fit in the car. My car cannot go over 80mph because the air dynamic was messed up and my car lost the control. Not only overestimated but also it was even more damaged. Later I found out he uses instagram @marinos_auto as a facade business which does not have any business license or whatsoever. Show people only good ones and make them to goto his shop. And relocate the car to "Ponce's Body and Fender Shop" in LA which he owns. The address is 4248 Whiteside St, Los Angeles, CA 90063. So their tactic is show the instagram (only good ones uploaded) > suggest togo his shop "marinos auto" but actually take it to "ponces body and fender shop" that he owns it > later say he does not own the body shop(ponces) and hes the middle man and he is not responsible > The bodyshop will not help me and refuse to answer me because they are all the same team since he owns it. I have found multiple accusations from customer's complaining their horrible service/ attempted to steal the vehicle as well. I am going after them and report them to BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) as well but submitting this this disaster will not happen to anybody anymore. Please flag this shop/location and help people to not to be scammed anymore. I'm submitting the quote that has been sent to the insurance from the bodyshop and other people's complaints.
