We too were [censored] and fell for the shark scam except we bought 4 of them for our grandkids, so we were double [censored]. We are disputing it with our credit card company. My husband has captured both the video and pictures from their website. Along with the pictures of the actual hard plastic crap sharks should hopefully do the trick. Shame on them.

I fell for the baby shark like everyone else did. I lost $39 for the large shark. I always check reviews on companies; especially the ones I see on Facebook. I’ve learned my lesson. I’ll only order from reputable vendors.

I was “BITTEN” by the bogus shark for $39.00. I truly believe in Karma and know people like this will receive some misfortune eventually.

I bought the shark that was electronic and would move- instead I received small plastic sharks about 6 inches long. Scammed! They were for my grandsons - horrific! No movement just plain old plastic!

Baby shark. It’s a scam. It’s just a bit of hard cheap plastic, not motion and doesn’t take batteries. They Won’t contact me back via email after sending so many complaints. Shame on them. They need to be shut down

Same exact thing happened to me. I just got mine yesterday. Not happy!

I ordered a lifelike motion activated baby shark and what i received was a hard plastic non-motion activated shark. The shark does not even take batteries. Definitely a scam. They will not reply to my email attempts to contact them. They need to be shut down. I paid through PayPal and I don’t know if they will refund my $24.96 or not. The two pictures are completely different.

The exact same thing has happened to me. I'm mortified and digusted that they would do that to someone. It ended up costing me $53 Australian dollars. It gives a bad name for all online shopping. Have you had a reply yet or should I just go to consumer affairs?

Mars196.store is a complete scam. I agree 100% this store/merchant is not to be trusted. Please get the word out to as many people as possible. I ordered a motorized Inflatable Swimming Pool Lounger for $80. When the package arrived it was a $20 float for a swimming pool. I contacted them about receiving the wrong product. I was told this was not their fault but the fault of their warehouse. I was also told they no longer had the product and sorry for the inconvenience. When I reached back to ask how they were going to fix the problem. I was told they would offer me $25 for my trouble or I could send it back to China at my expense. I replied with I am willing to even take $50 and call it even, the reply was no send the product back and that would be my only choice to get any of my $80 back. I was so shocked I could not believe it. Please warn everyone possible.

I ordered two motorized pool floats for $69.99 each and they sent me two pool floats I could get at Walmart for $5 each. They said I can return the ones they sent me but I would have to pay shipping. SCAM COMPANY!

I've seen their ads on Facebook for a baby what you that looks adorable. Facebook needs to cancel these scammers. After all, they censor everyone else.

I purchased two of the motorized floats for $69.99 each and received two much cheeper non motorized floats that can be bought online for $13. The add on their website said 100% Money Back Guarantee. I contacted the seller and complained and they said I would have to pay to have the wrong units sent back before they would give me a partial refund. They said that was their policy when their adds stated 100% money back. I asked for a 100% refund as stated in their adds for the motorized floats plus a prepaid shipper label for the inferior cheeper units they shipped me. I also sent all information to PayPal explaining that I was not sent the units I paid for and they sided with the seller saying I did receive something. Not at all good customer relations from Mars196 or PayPal. Im out $139.98 and have two $13 floats I did not order and I don’t want.

I had the identical experience. Saw an add for motorized inflatable pool lounger at a discount on Facebook. Decided to lookup the sellers web site (Mars196.store), verses ordering from Facebook. Their site looked like one of those sites that offers many unique items. Their price was stated as "Special" and was about 50% off list. The total was around $70 so I took a shot. Took about 4 weeks to be delivered but it was not what I ordered. It was an inflatable pool seat (not motorized) which I could buy for $23 on Amazon, which is also not even listed in their web site. I tried to return for refund and when reading their return policy, discovered that I had to mail it back to an address in China at my expense and only then they will decide if they want to give me a refund. I sent many emails to the only contact information provided (no phone number) and have heard nothing. The scam is a bate and switch, selling something at a great discount for a price that would make it not worth mailing to China for a refund, then ship you something much cheaper, making a great profit. The lesson learned, which I need to warn people of, is to be careful of anything advertised on Facebook or Twitter and read the return/refund policy before you purchase to see if they need you to return it to China instead of where it was shipped from, if so, it's a scam and run.

I am afraid I have also been scammed - several weeks now and I have not received anything. They offer a package tracking app but you have to install special software on your computer, I am afraid the software is some type of spyware so I have not tried to load it. There is no conventional way to track the shipment

Wish I would of seen this prior to ordering! My pool float just arrived and yes, it’s not as pictured! They should be shut down! scammed!

Found the advertisement on Facebook. Ordered a motorized pool lounger for adults. Looks really cool. Scammer uses PayPal. Took about 3 to 4 weeks to arrive and it is a baby inflateable pool float. Horrible. Can't contact to return. This person is listing this under different names/ads.

Same thing happened to me. I logged a complaint with PayPal, hope they can help. The return policy says not to return back to where it was shipped but rather ship it to China then if they accept the return they will give a refund. The only contact is via email and they never respond. They shipped a $23 item that is not even listed on their website. Stay away from this site they are a scam.
