I just had surgery at Crystal Run, Middletown and they said they were calling from Medicare. They called me ****** which was my signature that I signed myself out with. Couldn't write my name because of having surgery.

Scammer called me and asked me if I had gotten my 2023 Medicare information as yet. I replied I didn’t remember (I am a senior citizen). He told me to check and if I didn’t get it he would mail it to me. I think he either asked or confirmed my address . I told him that I would check . He then said to me don’t worry I will mail it to you, just give me your Medicare number. At that point I clicked and got suspicious. I told him I am sorry, but I do not feel comfortable giving you my Medicare number, at which point he hung up the phone on me. When I looked at the click it was 5:10pm. No Government agency calls after 5:00 pm. Moreover the telephone number was not an 800 number but a local number 914 325 6921
