Purported solution for Microsoft Defender Security Scam wanted $10,000, paid $500.00. I determined that said Red Screen Microsoft Defender Security Alert was a 100% fraudulent scam.

I am unfamiliar with any authentic Microsoft Defender Security Alert. When I received an authentic looking RED

SCREEN MICROSOFT DEFENDER SECURITY ALERT (AS BELOW) and with screen suddenly locked and warnings to

“AVOID RESTARTING COMPUTER”, I phoned the listed “SOLUTION NUMBERS” 833-784-5027 and 855-559-2111. A slick,

sophisticated gentleman answered, gave his name as Stephen Muddho and chatted that I will be just required to pay a reasonable

amount of money to have my computer unlocked. He gave his purported (impossible) Microsoft ID = ****** which I later learned

was phony since real MS IDs start with ‘M’. When I asked a few questions, he advised that I phone Microsoft Security Specialist

Brad Johnson at 425-882-8080 for confirmation of this situation. Brad Johnson Microsoft ID = MC5017 said he was in Redmond,

Washington and would escalate my emergency and have a resolution phoned to me. No one from MS has phoned me.

We were advised by Brad Johnson to phone Mr Allwyn George at 425-689-2288 for further “assistance” and “direction”.

My wife was instructed by Mr Allwyn George to drive alone to Albertson’s, Walmart, Home Depot, Smith’s and CVS to purchase six

$500.00 Gift Cards and read each 16-digit card code to “Avoid paying $10,765 to get husband’s computer unlocked.” My wife was

instructed repeatedly to not phone (me) her husband, rather to continue driving to the next store to purchase Gift Cards.

Meanwhile, I determined that said Red Screen Microsoft Defender Security Alert was a 100% fraudulent scam. I immediately voided all

credit card transactions and all credit cards. So we lost $500.00 in cash at CVS since all credit cards were already not working.
