HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! BUYER BEWARE! This company is NOT located in USA as indicated by the American Flag and California address. They manufacture in India. Once you place your order, they will not let you cancel. I will now be disputing with my credit card company. Bad business and false advertising!

I had the same exact experience with an order placed on 11/27/2020. Do NOT purchase anything from this company. They appear to be a USA based company and fail to disclose the requirement to pay customs on the purchase. I sent an email to cancel purchase within 1 hour and they refuse to cancel. Responses to my inquiries appear to be automated. They reference that the customs information is on their website, which it is, however, it's hidden and, again, because the company appears to be in the USA I wouldn't even think to look into having to pay hidden customs fees. Further, shame on Facebook for doing business with this company and allowing them as a paid sponsor. Companies should be properly vetted prior to accepting money for advertising. Disappointed in Facebook as well.

I ordered two bags, same day, through advertisement on Instagram. Nothing indicated this was to be shipped from India. However I did get one bag. Since then I have had no luck resolving this. They email back sometimes but just to delay the process. The bag I received is mediocre at best. Very heavy. I will have to file a dispute with my credit card company to get and result. Very poor customer service, not reputable in my dealing with them. I do continue to get offers in my email to purchase the same bags however they cannot ship the one I paid for weeks ago due to Covid. Do not use them.

Check out their website. They fail to disclose the requirement to pay customs at the point of sale prior to finalizing the transaction. I tried to cancel my order within an hour of placing it after learning of this hidden fee, well prior to shipment, and they refuse, citing that the customs information is posted on their website. This is not a reputable company despite their responses indicating their apologies and willingness to work with you.

I ordered an Eva bag from the Montana Hudson website on November 9th.

On November 16, 2020, I receive an SMS from DHL that my package is on its way, from the company Creative Leather Arts

Since I have not ordered anything from Creative Leather Arts, I start to google and discover like the rest of you that it's all hoaxes and scams
The customs note states that the bag was shipped from India Jaipur and the shipping address is: 20-B Keshav nagar near
From Jain Mandir Aayad
On the customs value paper, the company has stated that the price of the bag is 40 dollars - I have paid 134 dollars for the bag
Another proof that it's a scam company

The responses from the company Montana Hudson are very strange - they deny any knowledge or affiliation with Creative Leathers Art and all complaints here refer to Creative Leather Arts

I was also scammed by this company and am working to resolve it through my credit card company. All who have experienced the same need to file a complaint through the Better Business Bureau, file a dispute with your credit card company, and file a complaint anywhere else that you can. I learned of this company through a Facebook advertisement so I've also filed a complaint there hoping to save others.

I ordered a bag a few days ago, amd got a text message from DHL today.

My initial concern was that the company DHL referred to was "Creative Leather", not "Montana Hudson", so I googled my way to this site.

After reading all the comments and reviews of this company and the products, I would like to cancel my order.

My order number is MH28797.

I would like to cancel my order and receive confirmation that my order has been canceled and that I will receive a full refund on my card.

If I do not receive a confirmation I will be filing a complaint with my bank to get my money back.

Good news: I got my bag, even if it was from Creative Leather.

I think it's made from cow skin, not buffalo, but I don't really mind. The metal details could be of a higher quality.

But the bag looks and feels like I imagined it.

I have lotioned and sprayed it, and am looking so much forward to showing it off when I am able to leave the house and meet other people again...

I advise you guys to not worry, I don't understand why the company refuses to acknowledge that they are called Creative Leather in India, but the bag looks good, I like the different compartments and the suitcase strap.

I ordered a bag and wallet. All got delivered and now I have a 76$ FedEx bill for duty tax! What the hell? I have never had this happen before. Total shock when I opened the bill. I was under the impression this was a company on the west coast. It’s from India! Please advise

Andrea, I tried to cancel my order for this very reason and they refuse to cancel. I find it interesting that all of the responses indicate such great customer service. I would be interested to know if this was, in fact, resolved to your satisfaction. I'm now disputing the charge through my credit card company as I refuse to pay the customs fee or give business to this company.

I bought an Eva bag.

The bag wasn't the same as what was advertised online.

This is a TOTAL SCAM.

They told me to send it back to a US address that cost me £28 with UPS.

UPS told me they couldn't deliver it as no one was at the address. The company then told me they had moved.

100% disgusting. Shame on this. How can you too people off like this.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SCAM MERCHANT.

Like everyone else I was scammed too. Ordered on 09/29 the Eva tote and Eva wallet. Customs has had it for 12 days because the invoice has wrong information so they won’t clear it. I’ve been told it could be months. Calls unanswered emails that just say it was shipped. In 2 days my 30 days is up so even if I were to receive it and wanted to return it I wouldn’t be able to. Shipped from India but company says they are stateside? Seriously angry.

Unfortunately I have been having a similar experience. The bag I received is missing a strap that is clearly listed on the website description. Multiple e mails, poor/no response. The “phone number “ is leave a message or contact by e mail. I am trying to get a response but so far nothing. I have been trying to contact the company for days, knowing that the clock is ticking on returns. They wanted a picture of the “missing item”? Finally they clarified that they want a picture of the bag I received. Not sure why they wanted that picture? I am beginning to think that they sent me a “used/returned” bag & they never checked it of the strap. The cloth storage bag had stains on it that looked like grape juice. Thanks for the idea, I will contact my credit card company.

I would not recommend this company at all. I ordered a bag from them expecting it to take 7-10 days for it be sent out. After just shy of two months later I finally received this bag. It took me filing a complaint with my bank for the bag to even move from India (not sure why coming from India when the company is out of San Diego per the website). I tried multiple time to contact this company. Of course they do not answer their phones so I was emailing. NEVER once did the same person every email me back. When I tried to cancel my bag on multiple occasions I was first offered a 10% credit. Again I requested that my order just be cancelled. I was given an email that said that my package had shipped...which I later found out 2 weeks later from DHL it was never even dropped off to them yet just the label printed. I received my bag almost 2 months from the original order date in the mail. When asked about returning the bag (with the hassle free 30 day return policy they have) I was told that I needed to ship the bag back, email the tracking number to them and when they received the bag it would be inspected to see if the bag has been used (which it hasn't but since the "cover" bag it came in was shredded) to determine if I was eligible for a refund. After everything I have been through with the lack of communication this company provides and lack of knowledge they have, I refuse to return it because if for whatever reason they decided that I do not qualify to receive a refund (whatever ridiculous reason they may provide) on their "standards" my question is now how do I get my bag back that I have paid $150 for?!?!

I ordered a tote and a duffel bag that are currently held up in customs because there is a third item (a journal that I did not order) listed on the invoice. Customs will not release it without the type of leather, page size, lined or unlined and price. ? I am leaving on a trip for my 20 year anniversary in two days and these were anniversary gifts...and no one answers the phone and just waiting for an email response. Grrrrr!

Absolutely terrible experience with this company. I have been unable to return a bag that took months to arrive due to the fact that they refuse to answer my emails asking for return instructions. Yet they clearly state on their website that you can return items. This is a complete lie. They are operating a total scam. Literally stealing customers money. I am going to my bank to get my refund. Please do not buy from these criminals - you will receive substandard goods ( if at all) then you will not be able to get a refund.

I ordered a bag that came in weeks after I ordered, looked nothing like the picture and was heavy and straps were terrible. I have tried multiple times to return and they give me the run around. The last emailed asked why I wanted to return, answered and still waiting. The do not want to refund.

I tried five times to cancel my order, which I never got a response to. They ignored my cancelation requests and shipped the item anyways. That was frustrating in itself, but I gave up. The bag was okay quality, not the quality I expected and now after one week of use the cross body strap is already starting to break. As I intended to use this as a laptop bag it is extremely worrying that the strap is already coming apart and to me, paying $140 for a bag that is breaking after 1 week is unacceptable. I have been emailing the last few days with nothing but an automated repsonse.

I waited for WEEKS for a tote from Montana Hudson. I could not get in touch with anyone at all from this company. I kept getting an automated response email and when I called I went to a fishy sounding voice mail. I left a message no response at all. I finally decided it was a scam and filed a dispute with my credit card company. Weeks later I got the purse. Tried to return it and went back and forth with them on even that since there was a dispute filed. I finally returned the purse and paid $40! to return a $150 purse! IF I had known that, I would have just kept the stupid thing. I do not know how this company stays in business.

BEWARE. I have been told may case has been "escalated" and still NOTHING, months later. This company is a total scam. They take your money, refuse to allow you to return if you aren't satisfied. They respond on this platform immediately, with total b.s. "We are understaffed due to Covid...blah blah blah". They have not responded to my request for a return since July, but they keep taking everyone's money.
