It looks a lot better in person than it does on the website. At first I thought there was an issue because the bag I have has a hint of red in it but apparently because its full grain leather, the hide will look different on every bag. I absolutely love mine.
We understand, that's why we our doing our best to catch up.

The smell will subside. It’s because we tan the leather organically, no harmful chemicals, ever. It’s better for the leather, the environment, and your purse will last forever.
To help with the smell, the product needs to be rubbed completely with vegetable or cooking oil using a paper towel and dried in the sun for a few hours. This should eliminate the smell entirely.

Here is the strange thing. There is now a company by the name of Weston Cole advertising handbags on Facebook. Exact same layout as Montana Hudson, including their history in California, shipping worldwide, the about us, the faq's, and the whole gambit on shipping, returns, and DHL delivery service. Everything copied completely from the Montana Hudson site. So, beware, there is a same snake with a different name just waiting to steal your money...

I ordered the Montana Hudson Vintage Eva Leather bag in dark brown. I received a different bag, nothing like the photo. The bag I received was a differnt color and smelled horribly. I have tried for three weeks to get some kind of refund authorization and address to sent back. So far, I have only received additional discount emails from Montana Hudson. Total Scam.

Since it seems that "Sheryl Hudson" is answering on this website I thought I would try here for help. I ordered a bag yesterday and now after reading the endless negative reviews of this company and the products that have been received (when they are actually recieved) and the amount of time it takes to get your order (if it even comes at all) I would like to cancel my order. There is not even a place to view your order on their website. I emailed the support email and received an automated response which directed me to the unhelpful FAQs and to email them again if I want to cancel. My order number is MH20474 and I would like to cancel my order and receive confirmation from a human that my order has been canceled and they I will receive a full refund on my card. I am very unhappy as I have found a bag on amazon with IDENTICAL photos and reviews as the ones listed on the Montana Hudson website. After all my research it seems that this company is an absolute scam. AGAIN PLEASE CANCEL ORDER MH20474. If I do not receive a confirmation I will be filing a complaint with my bank to get my money back.
