I have been receiving 2 letters a day saying they want to get in touch about a home equity loan. I called to try to get th to stop and just got an automated message where they were asking info and saying I could be covered if I die or become disabled. I never was able to talk to a person as they asked for my phone number and I would not enter it.

I recieved a piece of mail from Mortgage Service Center with my county, close date, loan amount, lender name, my name, and motgage id on it posing as my mortgage lender saying they have been trying to reach me and to call a number. It was from PO Box 19595 in jacksonville, FL.

They sent a letter appearing from direct mortgage loans from Mortgage Service Center saying "we have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please call 1-833-408-1591. Thank you, The Mortgage Service Center

Looks like an official bank communication with some correct information regard a loan home loan taken. They are asking for a call back regarding "a matter of importance" relating to mortgage. Call 1-833-408-1613.

I just refinanced my home through Navy Federal Credit Union (NFCU) within the past 2 weeks, and since then, I started receiving postal mails (perforated-sides envelopes and post-cards) from this address, claiming that they've been trying to get a hold of me, with a sense of urgency, and with a "RE: NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION" to include the correct refinance amount.

It all looks very legit, minus the actual loan account/mortgage ID number: "[My actual Last Name], Mortgage ID: 504-835-326"

Received several letters for a mortgage I did not take out. I hold no loan in the amount described, no mortgage in the county described, nor did I take a mortgage out this year. I do have credit monitoring and have not had anything hit my credit.

I received a letter in mail that had my Financial Institution name in bold lettering. When I opened the letter it states my county, closing date, loan amount and lender name. it asked us to call them as it relates to an important matter regarding my mortgage.

Received postcards/letters in the mail stating "PLEASE CALL UPON RECE3IPT OF THIS NOTICE" Inside states " We have been trying to reach you regarding a matter of importance as it relates to your mortgage. Please Call 1-833-408-1587 (one had the #1-833-408-1612) I received 3 notices in total. I called and listened to the prompts, entered the MTG ID*: 504-556-681 which is the same on all 3 notices. The auto response did have my husband name. I was google searching the number in the mean time and hung up immediately when I saw the reports that it is a SCAM. We recently got an equity line on our house. They obtained our information from that recorded document. Names, Address, Loan Amount, Lender, etc.

Received mail from "The Mortgage Service Center" which included the name of the institution I have my mortgage with, in addition to the loan amount and closing date. The mail appeared to be a check with tear-away edges and privacy pattern printed on one side.
