Received a check for 1979.44 via priority mail, for secret shopper job. The payor on the check was: GREENBURGH-NORTH CASTLE

UNION FREE SCHOOL DISTRICT 612

71 SOUTH BROADWAY

DOBBS FERRY, NY 10522.

Included was detailed instructions for secret shopper assignment.

Offered a job being a mystery shopper. Because of my suspicions, I googled the company and a lot of results related to fraud popped up. Luis Holmes had text me to see if I received the packet and when will I be starting. I told him after finding out that it was a scam, I will not be starting and to not text me again. He text back later that day that it was important that I let him know when I will be starting. I replied with the same response originally sent. He did not contact me again. I still have the fraudulent check. I wish I could upload so others can see what it looks like.
