Called stating my extended warranty on my car is about to expire asking for vehicle make, model and year. I have received multiple calls regarding the same thing from different numbers - 512-420-8160, 512-817-0226, 682-334-8437, 346-966-1075

a message saying they have tried to get in touch with me and that they are National Dealer Services and my car warranty is running out. I drive a 1989 Honda Civic when it will run Their phone number 423-376-6957

- Smyrna, TN, USA

I called back to see what the problem is. I got hung up on 8 times. No person picked up!

- Gulf Breeze, FL, USA

Constantly calling on my work phone. Gives 2 options 1 to speak to a rep and 2 to be placed on do not call list. Have pressed 2 numerous times and continue to get phone calls. Pressed 1 and asked the name of the company and they hung up without providing any information. Tried to call them back. Get a recording that all agents are busy. Will play music for 10-15 seconds then disconnects.

- Sandy, OR, USA

This time the recording is an African-American woman’s voice saying she was from Dealer Warranty Services and my auto warranty was about to expire. I’ve never had an auto warranty. She gave a number that started with (833) .

I’ve repeatedly received and blocked these calls from different numbers. I’ve redialed the numbers and pressed the option to be taken off their caller list, multiple times. The recording says the company’s name is National Dealer Services.

continuous calls from this # in Virginia demanding to know credit history because I'm being sued for car warranty -- LIE, have NEVER bought ANY car warranty in my life!!

Multiple phone calls to my mobile phone over the past year. I never answer them, but have called back from my work desk phone. It's always National Dealer Services. I block the number on my cell phone. This morning, 5-5-21, I received two calls within minutes, one from Minnesota, one from a local Texas number 512 area code. Called both from my work land line, both from NDS. I've never answered their calls, or tried to do the supposed attempt to remove myself from their call list. A google search shows this company under robo call lawsuits going back multiple years. I was not a victim of any scam attempt, just want this company to stop harassing me and plenty of other folks.

Repetitive calls with automated system with choice of 1 - to speak with someone about Extended warranty

And, 2. To have your number removed off of their list.

I chose 2. And it just hangs up on me and then I continue to receive the he calls again which seems like every day!

- Waltham, MA, USA

This company keeps calling me to try to get me to buy a new warranty for my car.

- Fort Myers, FL, USA

They phoned me twice on Friday, March 12.

I did not recognize their number on the Caller ID so I let it go to VoiceMail.

They did not leave a message.

I dialed the numbers back late Saturday night and listened to their pre-recorded announcement.

I blocked their numbers.

I am receiving phone calls from national dealer services every 10 to 30 minutes a day wishing to extend warranty on a car that I do not own and have never owned. When I give them information (Year, make, and model) for a car that I do own they tell me it does not qualify and hangs up.

- Saint Petersburg, FL, USA

At least 5x daily, I receive calls from different numbers from National Dealer Services talking about my 'extended warranty' expiring( I have no warranty remaining) . These unsolicited calls come from local and long distance numbers and sometimes leave blank #'s. They are a nuisance.

- Melbourne, FL, USA

This business claims that your car (which they have the make and model correct, but not the year and history of the car) is running out of warranty. They attempt to get you to pay to renew your warranty.

They call day and night on your cell phone. If you get asked to be placed on a do not call list, they keep calling back.

If you ask them to not call, they get belligerent.

unsolicited call regarding my vehicles expired warranty. Representative identified herself as Ashley. I pushed hard to get the name of the business she worked for and she said National Dealer Services. She wouldn't tell me if it was a corporation or LLC or otherwise instead continued to aggressively ask for the VIN or year, make and model of my vehicle. She actually said at one point she couldn't give out information about her organization when I pressed!!!

I've been getting calls from company offering "Extended Car Warranty". Since I got interested in scam prevention and what we as regular people can do, I decided to talk to them.

1. They call about your car but do not know anything about it. I always give them wrong car model and year and it is always ok (scam red flag #1 -srf#1).

2. The deal they offer is almost perfect, warranty covers everything. They got everything described, they follow they scam script so it looks like very professional offer. But it is not.

I asked the person, if it is ok if I recently had huge car accident and had to change the transmission, she said it was not a problem for the coverage - srf#2.

3. I asked what was their website, answer - we do not have a website (no website in 2020? srf #3.

4. I asked if I could use a check instead of Credit card, answer - yes for your monthly payment, but not for initial payment (of course not because they want your Credit Card details).

5. It is very suspicious that they would offer you a full car coverage after just few questions on the phone - just bs.

6. When I asked about their company location and mailing address - whoever was on the other site - hang up.

Their robocall gives you two options: press 1 to speak to them, press 2 to be removed from the list. I noticed, whenever I press 2 there are more calls coming. I think they use #2 to verify that it is a real number, and then call you more than if you didn't press it at all. Of course they keep changing the number, so blocking the number helps only a little bit.

What I found is more effective - talking to them on the phone:

1. You are wasting scammers time and then limiting their profits, saving others from falling into their hands etc.

2. I noticed that they call me less often after I waste their time on the phone.

Lastly, just think and do not give your CC details to random people calling you about who knows what.

My plan is to develop better "Scammers time wasting strategy". I will try to get them to the point where I give them fake CC details and see what happens next.

The person on the phone sounded American. Typical scam script. Switching you between different departments, managers etc.

Let's fight them together. Please waste their time if they can call you next time. Do not give any of your personal information!

They call constantly about a vehicle warranty that I supposedly got when I was in the tenth grade. I usually get the automated phone call. But once I got an actual person and they said they would stop calling me but they wouldn't. I've blocked 32 different numbers for them.

- Collierville, TN, USA

Received call from (as identified on phone) New Jersey 908 373-8327.

Doubting that pressing 2 would actually accomlish the desired do-not call again, pressed 1 for an agent. The agent identified his company as "National Dealer Services". When I repeated the business name to him and asked him to verify, he politely said "thank you" and hung up.ask to verify the company.

- Canonsburg, PA, USA

This company will not stop calling. Everyday 5 or 6 times a day. Tell them your on the do not call list and they just hang up.

With so many people complaining how can they keep doing it? They call from a spoof number so even keeping track doesn't help.

I would like to take legal action against this company since my phone is used for business and it's hard to tell when its them calling.

Somebody please put a stop to this.

- Chandler, AZ, USA

I get this same message, exactly the same from different phone numbers. Most of the time it is blocked services I pay for but it gets through often. When I try to call the number back it is a fax line.
