Pretends to be Recovery Tax Relief!

I’ve had Recovery Tax Relief working on taxes for the past 3 years, and even though there’s very little communication I assume their doing their job! So I get these 2 calls from young girls named Kian and Kennedy, and they tell me I need to call because my accounts been red flagged and I have to speak to the tax attorney. Keith was a fast talker but in the beginning I had no reason to doubt who he was. (Also peculiar how they all have “K” names?). He proceeds to tell me that because of unpaid back taxes we owe $35,000 to the IRS, but if I hold on he will try to negotiate that down. After 20 minutes he comes back and says, Great news, I got them to come down to $12,000 if we take care of it today? I said I’ll send a check, but he said they’ll only do this right now! I got suspicious and said you have to prove to me who you are? And he actually sent me documents with my signature, but they are definitely NOT the right company! Now I have to freeze everything and file complaints, etc. You really have to check details, like the email and phone #s. I learned the hard way!

TV ad / scam

I saw a tv ad for National Tax Advisory Services. I had a problem with my taxes for 2019 and 2020. I file a 1040x to correct the mistake I had made for 2019 taxes. I have spoken to the IRS about my 1040 and the 1040x. The1040 was on file and letters were sent out to say that I owe a certain amount of money to the IRS. And I have asked the IRS for an extension waiting for the 1040X to correct my mistake. But, I was running out of time. So I call National Tax Advisory Services and explained my situation to them. It cost me $1500.00 for retainer fees. Then I was contacted by another agent going over the details of the operation. I was told that it would cost me $9500.00 to handle this case. I responded back to say that I couldn't confirm that amount. Then he offed me 6500.00. I had to get something done before my 1st payment was due to the IRS. So I agreed on the $6500.00. Then they explain how the office would contact the IRS agent and represent me on his behalf to stop the payment set by the IRS office. I have been paying the office over the past 6 months, and I have not received phone calls or emails from the office. I had to call the office myself to get an update on my case. Of course, I get the tap-dance routine on my case. Again still waiting to hear back from the IRS. This is not a legitimate company not conforming to recognized principles.

Company Repeatedly Violates Federal TCPA

This company has called our cellphone NUMEROUS times over the past six months, even though it is on the Federal Do Not Call List. We have contacted the California State Attorney General's Office regarding the matter, and have learned that the company is being investigated for several things, along with illegal telemarketing. You probably want to stay far away from this place!

National tax advisory company have scanned $1,600 from me they said that they was going to do my taxes and take on the IRS for me they did not do anything they stole my money from me and they need to be arrested the IRS need to look into their business and see why they are taking people money and not giving them the service that they said that they was going to give them I even have papers from them they are nothing but liars I am going to report them to the governor of this state and I'm going to write a letter to the president they all need to be shut down.

I was contacted by a representative of National Tax Advisory Services by phone. They had information regarding how much I owed in State taxes. They informed me if I paid them a flat rate, they would file my 2020 tax return as well as negotiating my California state tax debt to reduce interest that had caused the amount to increase significantly. I have not received any follow up calls and the representative is not unresponsive to my calls.
