Billing us for a domain name

Scam letter posing as an invoice for $194.00 to "avoid domain listing EXPIRING"....This is a false claim. First Baptist Church never been a customer of Internet Networx

We received invoices from Internet Networx for two years for web server services. Today another company actually shut off our service saying we owed them for the same service. Clearly Internet Networx has nothing to do with our web site or the other company couldn't suspend our service. Their billing was a scam.

My client received an invoice to renew ownership of the business domain. This service is provided by another (legitimate) company. Thankfully my client contacted me to verify, otherwise they would have paid to renew a service not even provided by the aforementioned company.

I received an invoice for $194.00 to pay for our website Domain. We are a non-profit religious organization and our domain is provided by our governing body at no cost. This is definitely a scam and it is a shame that this is being done especially with the state of the world these days. The date of the invoice is 5/6/2020, amount requesting is $194.00. Customer number: IN_XXXXXX, Invoice number: IN_XXXXXX-2020., contact: [email protected]. The address is Internet Networx, PO Box 957269, Duluth, GA 30095-2813.

They sent us a fake bill for $194.00 allegedly regarding renewal of our domain name.

Just got a bill for services listed as "Annual renewal website listings, service from 5/13/2020 thru 5/13/2021". Have no idea who this company is but obviously not sending any money. Looks like a bill, on the back it does say in smaller print that "This is not a bill. This is a solicitiation."

The 'bill' says: "Please remit payment by 5/13/2020," "Return by," "TotalDue,"

Banking on the fact that many companies might just not notice and pay what looks exactly like a bill. SCAM. No phone number on this at all. Very angry right now. Glad that the company is on the other side of the country.

Company sent an invoice indicating the service being billed was for the annual renewal of website listings service from X date - Y Date (upcoming 'renewal' period). Invoice was addressed directly to Accounts Payable, likely under the hope the accounting team would not know if the invoice was legitimate. Invoice appears to indicate our "customer #", and requests payment by a certain date. The invoice does list language intended to cause the recipient to fear their website will be taken down if they do not pay the invoice: "To ensure Website listing is not suspended please remit payment before 5/13/2020", where the 'please remit payment...' section is underlined for emphasis. Also listed on the back of the invoice is language related to the fact that this is a solicitation.

Billing for annual renewal of website listing and domain service from a company that is not currently supplying that to us.

Received a fake invoice for my internet domain from this company. The amount of the invoice was $194.00.

This scammer sends a letter of domain renewal. we do not own or have ever used the listed web domain. In previous years i checked the domain they requested payment for and it showed a website of a similar organization within a few miles. but this year the domain shows a website in a foreign language.

We received an fake invoice for the amount of $194.00 for the annual renewal of our web page listing

Received an invoice for annual renewal of domain/website in the amount of $194.00 which is fraudulent.  XXXX does not have a business relationship with this company and they do not provide any services. This is a

This scammer sends out a "Annual Renewal" for a service that was never authorized in the first place.

- Wilmington, NC, USA

Received a solicitation disguised as an invoice for one of the domains that we own but isn't active and just redirects to our actual site. Two seconds on Google revealed it is a scam, and it must be successful enough to keep sending out fake invoices, but so much to have a site that doesn't remind me of 2002 with a nonworking search feature.

We received a letter from Internet Networx purporting to be a domain renewal request - which we initially thought was genuine since were were in the process of transferring domain providers. However, this company apparently has a history of these letters and after several emails/phone calls with our legitimate domain company we realized this was a fake. We strongly urge companies/individuals to exercise caution and ignore these letters/send complaints as appropriate. We worked with the bank on a resolution to the bill, but obviously it would have been better to not have the issue at all.

We received a bill for $194.00 (which clearly state's it is a renewal for annual services for our website listings). We do not use this company, nor have we ever used this company. The invoice has an invoice number and states that it is for our website address.

Sent offer that looks exactly like a standard invoice / bill. Only on the back on small print does it indicate that it is not an invoice, but an offer.

We received a bill. Limited information besidesour Domain name. It looks like it's the annual renewal for $194.00.

Our small business (nonprofit) received this solicitation in the mail which clearly looks like an invoice for internet services. It was intentionally made to look like an invoice - both visually and through choice of wording. However, I can imagine that MANY people would be fooled by this fake invoice. My trained bookkeeper was 100% ready to pay this "invoice" before I questioned it.

This is wrong on so many levels and very irresponsible of this company. They are clearly attempting to scam recipients into purchasing their services. Please look into and correct this wrongdoing.

Thank you.
