Internet Networx sends you an invoice to "renew" the subscription for your website. We received 2 invoices within days of each other- they are counting on you not looking closely at the "invoice" to read the fine print that it is actually a solicitation. A legit business would have a physical address as their mailing address, not to mention a phone number for you to call customer service, neither of which they provide. We are a non-profit and use free website hosting via google- so we were briefly confused as to why we were getting an invoice, then looked closer at it and searched on the internet for info on this "company" to discover we were not the only ones getting these fake invoices.

We received an unsolicited mailer that appears to be a bill for domain name "listing" renewal. The initial impression is that this is for DNS registration renewal and on further reading perhaps listing in a search engine (which is never a paid service anyway). There is a note "THIS NOT A BILL. THIS IS A SOLICITATION." However, everywhere else this "solicitation" appears in all ways to be an annual renewal bill.

We received a renewal invoice for "ANNUAL RENEWAL WEBSITE LISTINGS"

As an office manager, I pay the bills for our office. An invoice came in for our annual renewal for our domain/website listing. I do not handle the domain website and I just thought this was our annual renewal bill. I paid the bill of $194.00. The owner of the practice just notified me today that this is not who they go through to host our website. Some of it does fall onto me as I should have investigated. However, it was a legitimate looking "bill".

On January 2, 2020 we received an invoice totaling $194.00 for "Annual Renewal Website Listings". They sent it to us as an invoice and put in the fine print that is is not a bill but rather a solicitation, which according to my research will help them to avoid the legality of having the scam turn into a lawsuit. Please keep in mind this is not something you need to pay and that there is no listed phone number to reach them at.

We received an invoice from Internet Networx for the annual renewal of our website listing. This amount invoiced was $194.00. The invoice lists all of our information. This looks like a real invoice. We do not have service with this company.

Under the "Subscription Include" section, which should be your first clue - since this is grammatically incorrect. It should say: Subscription Includes: blah blah blah. At this end of this paragraph it reads: THIS NOT A BILL. THIS IS A SOLICITATION, in small print. Again, we would say, "This is not a bill." However, sending companies solicitations that read ANNUAL RENEWAL and look like a real bill is a scam. I can see how some companies might pay this bill without reading the fine print.

They need to cease and desist from ever contacting us again.

The Networx Company advertises to help people find home improvement pros. You can list yourself as a pro/handyman with them and they will give you "qualified" leads. They charge you $200 to be listed with them. They give you leads to people that want to have home repairs done. Their recruiters are very pushy and aggressive when trying to get contractors to sign up for these leads. I am a handyman and I was going to sign up for their service. However, after talking with the pushy and aggressive recruiter I felt like this didn't seem right. They said they only sign up four comanies in my area and they only had one spot left. They said I better hurry and sign up today or I would lose that spot. Something just didn't feel right about this company. I did some searches on the Internet and found a lot of complaints about this company. I did not give them any money and I had to hang up on them just to get off the phone. They didn't want me to get off the phone.

They listed a corporate office in Wyoming but when you look it on Google Maps it shows a real estate office.
