I called several places about consolidating student loans last year. I had provided a lot of private info to this place on a call and decided to halt the application process because it felt like a scam. Since then Andrew Vaughn (if that is even his real name) from the "Student Loan Center" has been calling me with various random local "608" numbers up to 3 times a day and they have even contacted my sister in TN in which their # showed as a local # to her. I have made attempts to call back and ask that my # be removed from their list and to cease calling me. I have done this several times. Now they just hang up on me as soon as I get someone and begin to complain about the constant daily calls. I just want them to STOP PLEASE! I still fear they have enough info about me to do something nasty. Thank you for your time and assistance.

It was a computer generated voice message by female voice:

“License within 48 hours as your IP address has been compromised from several countries so we need to change your IP address and license key so please press one to get connected to the technician…”

I thought it was odd that no one else asked me to do this before so I went to my buddy google.com and found this website.
Good try guy.

An individual contacted a local Tree company via text message and provided an address of a vacant property currently for sale. The person asked the tree company to go cut down all the trees. The tree company never had the person sign a contract, never met in person, nor did they confirm ownership of the property nor did they collect any payment yet. The tree company, after they cut down a giant limb, contacted listing agent who is also the owner of the home because they felt something wasn't right. Apparently this is a known scam to use stolen credit cards. The individual who ordered the tree removal claimed to be the homeowner and claimed he lived at the property.

the scammer claims he is a U. S. Marine who works in computer system room in Syria and His name is Martin Hansen Culbreth and he has an 8 year old son named Michael who lives with the nanny in Brownwood TX,

This person posted an ad for Yorkie puppy available in AZ. I contacted her and asked where exactly she was located and she said Texas. I said thanks but I’m in AZ. A few minutes later she sent me an address in Phx saying I could pick up the puppy there. She asked for a deposit of half but I was hesitant and only sent $125 via PayPal. When I didn’t designate the payment as for a friend she “refunded” the payment and said try again. Which I did. Same thing. “Refunded” the payment. She said try again and that time she said he account was “limited” due to the first two tries and never heard back and don’t have a puppy. Before sending the third time she sent me a different email to use. PayPal showed me her name, Susan Michelle Wolfe and said she was located in CA. Now I’m out more than what the puppy was even listed for after all three payments

The number on my caller ID was 1-888-817-9798.

Caller states they are calling "regarding case #3687874 which was placed within our company. It has escalated due to a lack of response...." etcetera, call them at 1-800-390-9043 to give my statement or else legal action will be taken without my statement, etcetera. Doesn't say what kind of claim, doesn't reference any business name.

I am reporting that they did not try to get money, because no dollar amount was stated in their message and I did not respond; but I am sure that is where things would go if I fell for this.

The invoice looks very real, although the company name, address is not there. It states that my order of a $700 Samsung 253L 3 Star Inverter Frost Free Double Door Refrigerator and a Lepose Heavy Duty Front/Top Load Automatic Washing Machine/Refrigerator/Dishwasher Stand/Trolley for $20 will be delivered to "Diana L in Jacksonville, Florida, 32253, US. Order number allegedly is #5054-8236972-9895153, and was placed on November 16. The invoice states that a $100 discount/credit has been applied. I did NOT order this, did not click on anything, or call them. Don't do it! Just awful!

I received a call from what appeared to be Elk Grove, CA from 916 892-1219. The call went to voicemail where an automated message said that my social security number was being revoked and unless I called back, there would be a warrant issued for my arrest. No other info was given, just a threat that I would be arrested. I called the local ScamPulse.com and they told me that this was a scam and that Social Security would never contact anyone in this manner.

It was shown on Facebook where a man named "Andrew" could help people in need with money. Even had people recruiting and giving testamonials. When I was contacted it via text messaging. He told me send $40 to a cash app tag $DbestD32 to get a log and send him picture of the receipt and he would give me $1200 immediately in my cash app account. I did not have the funds so i told him it would be a few days. He has texted me everyday since wanting to know when im going to do it? Then sends me a message to go to a slightly different cash app account $DbestD31. I have tried everything to find more information on the cash tags with no help and have found only one to even be working. I would love for someone to find these people and teach them a lesson. Needless to say I still have not given them any money.

We get several of these a week and delete them without opening them. I sent one to someone at the ScamPulse.com and she opened it and told me not to open any of them as they are porn.

So it first started with phone calls and emails of an unclaimed reward from target or walmart. Then a post card arrived with FINAL NOTICE and a 888 phone number so I called and a person answered asking if I was calling to claim my reward so I started asking questions how did I get this? And they just hung up. I called back a female answered said it was because I shop at Walmart and warned points. She had my address then she asked for a credit card one time shipping fee to mail out the card through ups. Sounds fishy to me you can mail it.

2 free gift deliveries from Amazon-just garbage items-made in China. Contacted Amazon, and they said they would contact the sender and tell them to stop and threaten police action. They advised me to file a police report, which I did. Police told me it was a scammer, and to throw the products away and watch for phishing contacts.

This occurred in September 2020. I have received no further gifts, or been contacted yet by anyone.

Will refile if I am.

I have received text messages as seen in the attached photo stating that I've missed a package delivery. I have not opened the links. I block the number when I receive them.

"WARNING: FAILURE TO CALL WILL RESULT IN AUTOMATIC FOREFEITURE OF THIS REWARD. PLEASE CALL AT ONCE FOR DETAILS."

On the back it shows the voucher reward to be claimed, the status (PENDING), my name, my zip code, And state of residence. then continues to read:

": OUR RECORDS INDICATE YOU HAVE AN UNCLAIMED REWARD ON YOUR ACCOUNT."

"WE ARE HOLDING $100.00 IN SAVINGS FOR YOU GOOD AT WAL-MART, TARGET, AND MORE- IN YOUR NAME!"

"PLEASE CALL US TOLL FREE AT 1-844-960-0833 TO CLAIM YOUR REWARD AS SOON AS POSSIBLE."

Then it shows my claim number.

**There is no address on postcard for where it came from, no company name, no reason for reward, or any other information at all having to do with where this was sent from. I called the number and the guy said he was gonna send me the reward but i had to cover the shipping fee or some kind of processing fee that was around $2.50. And this is when i decided to hang up.**
