Scammer issued a bogus renewal invoice from Norton Lifelock in the amount of $899.99 for 2 Norton Deluxe Lifelock apps. Invoice # **************. email sender's name is George Rosario whose email address is as follows: [email protected]. Invoice also stated that unless I verify the invoice, it will proceed with the renewal and charge my account. The truth is I never purchase any Norton products. I called the company to verify and report that I suspect fraud. I googled the company's website and it looks like I got a fake website that looks like the Norton website. My suspicion is based on 1) initial phone connection to (877) 650-6248 customer service there was a loud series of noise like someone tried to grab a phone that fell or rolled for about 30 seconds before a voice answered. I reported the invoice and mentioned that I never bought the product and a renewal is obviously fraudulent. The female voice said that she needs my name and a few other information for her to link me to the security dept. I refused to do so as I suspected the link is a bogus one. When I said that maybe I should juyst report this fraud to the police the voice hangup.

Got an email saying our trial of Norton LifeLock (which we don't have) expired and the next two years were being billed for $556. We called to investigate & they wanted us to let them log onto our computer remotely using anydesk.com. We didn't do it. They also, of course, couldn't provide us with any info they would have if we had an account with them. The angle was all about them trying to get into our computer. We hung up. We don't actually know where this originated from, but the person on the phone was Indian. This form requires a location, but we're really not sure where this was from.

I received an invoice from Norton telling me my payment of $484 was successful. I didn't authorize a payment so I called the customer support number on the email and the man was very rude and started cursing at me when I told him this was a scam.

Claiming to be Norton Life Lock renewal subscription through Chase.

Shared my computer without approval.

I entered the amount of dispute. Computer added an additional number so it was thousands. I couldn’t change it. It processed instantly. It was then deposited in my account but unknowingly took from my credit line.

I had to get gift cards to pay back. Stupid of me. I finally googled. It was a scam.

Told me in no certain terms he would take it out of my bank account and I asked how was he going to do that how did he have info in my account. I told him no Id turn him in

He told me it wouldnt do no good Nobody would listen to me

I have never dealt with these people never had a subscription

To request a renewal

I refused all of it . He threatened to take money out of my bank account

I received an email from NortonLifeLock showing a $426.99 payment was being drafted from my account for a two-year auto renewal of NortonLifeLock Premium Support. The email stated I must call if I want to cancel and have the money refunded. I called and told them I cancelled Norton two years ago. I was told I did not cancel correctly and needed to go to a website to complete a form. The guy then started giving me a lot of letters to type into the search bar that would take me to the form I needed to complete. He then proceeded to tell me he needed to know what browser I was using. At that point, I hung up on him. I went and looked at the sender email and noticed it appeared to be a personal gmail account and not a business account.

I received a phone call on June 14 stating dear customer, thank you for renewing our service. As per our previous discussion (which never happened) we have once again renewed your annual subscription of $229.00. I have never subscribed to this subscription.

- Painesville, OH, USA

My husband subscribed to Life Lock for years. He died in January and I tried to cancel the subscription that was due on April 14, 2023. I sent them a copy of his death certificate and asked for a refund as they had charged my credit card for the annual fee of $124.99. According to their website a refund is O.K. to request in case of death. All they did was put me on telephone hold and promised to return a call to me within 24 hours. Never happened. I tried to talk with them at lest 3 times on the phone, my sons have tried to talk with them at least 3 more times with no results for either of us. I also tried to cancel this subscription on line on their site. Didn't work. I don't know what else to do. I believe they are scamming me out of the $124.99.

dsThis is the second time that I received an email from NortonLifeLock to my school district issued email account. They reference an invoice. This time invoice:32185718748. The email thanks me for my NortonLifeLock billing payment, is has successfully processed, and my account has been updated. It also states this is an annual charge and will appear on my bank statement within the next 48. hours. I never requested NortonLifeLock and never authorized payment. This is very frustrating because I called the 1(888)409-4248 the last email I received and told them to take me off the email list. I never requested this service. I notified my technology department. They were able to block the previous email, but I see that this is now a new and different email that this company has used again to contact me. Please help! I want me email off their contact list and do not want bothered again. Thank you in advance for your attention and help with this matter!

- Cleveland, OH, USA

I received an email from Norton saying my account would be billed $349.99 for a 3 year subscription renewal. I do not have a Norton subscription. I tried calling the number in the email but no one answered.

My father received an email with this "invoice" in it. My father has never used Norton. As you can see the punctuation is "off". I also blocked my caller id and called. Definitely

- Nutley, NJ, USA

Called the number and was asked to use my computer. I told them to send a link. He said it has to be live. When I accused him of scamming, he hung up.

Received an email stating that I was being charged $470.00 for my renewal for 5 years for Norton Lifelock Security. Please do not reply by email. call 844-242-8679. called the number and no one answered. They in turn called me back from 775-499-6244. Saying yes you received an email?. I never told them I received anything. Also the email they sent it from is showing to be an invalid email when I enter it on the above email spot. this is the email that was given Sieu Tang [email protected]
