email sent ostensibly from Norton Lifelock stating amount of $499.99 had been subtracted from my checking account by automatic electronic transmittal and if this information incorrect to call above phone# (assumed it was incorrect inasmuch as i pay direct by check).

called and went through protracted efforts on scammer to set up my computer to send them information on my response, and after approx 40 minutes of trying, they asked for my debit card # which i stupidly gave them + exp date/security code, then they once again started attempt for computer contact in the midst of which they asked me to purchase gift cards to cover expense of time spent with me whereupon i belatedly realized this was a scam and hung up.

next day had phone call from my debit card company saying debit card had been restricted and to call given phone# - was told ofcharges against debit card 2 of which were ok but 3 not mine = told i wouldn't be charged for the 3 and new card would arrive 5-7 business days.

This site is using Norton life lock the email address is [email protected] I have copies of different emails address to collect 399.00 dollars for something I didn’t trying to gain access to my credit card bank accounts ,They won’t stop

Received an email from what looked like myself. It was from [email protected]. In the email there was a fake invoice showing I had purchased a yearly subscription to Norton360 security.

It states you should call 850-789-2828 if you did not purchase the plan.

I did not purchase the subscription.

They sent me an email saying that my Norton was going to be renewed. I called 6 months ago and cancelled renewed with Norton so I thought this email was part of it. When I called them, I noticed they had a heavy English accent and that's when my redflags went up and realized might be a scam. I turned off my internet and when the person on the other line asks for my name, I gave him my nick name and told him before he asked another question that I have called before to canceled and I had the name of the person that I spoke with. He asked me if I could give him the name of the person and I gave them a fake name. He played with it, and that's when I realized it was a scam. He said "apparently so and so did not remove your renewal so I'm going to need some information from you. I told him ok just to give you heads up I turned off my internet and my computer so what kind of information do you need? He heavily insisted to turned my internet back because that was the only way to cancel my subscription. Then I laugh and told them "Nop!, you don't know who are you talking to. You just a scam and I am tracing your call and I will have the police on you. Then he hung up immediately!!

I received an email from someone claiming to be Norton Lifelock claiming my subscription was auto-renewed but I do not have a subscription with them.

I received an email from "Norton LIfeLock" stating that my one year automatic renewal option was up and that they'd be automatically charging my credit card if I didn't respond within 24 hrs. I was suspicious immediately b/c (a) I don't have a subscription with Norton LifeLock and (b) they indicated an incorrect date (Friday, Nov 15, 2021- Nov 15,2021 was a Monday) and (c) the email came from what looks like a personal gmail. I called the (845) 377 0241 number and the guy said 'my subscription' was for computer security, I told him that I didn't order this and he started instructing me to go to Chrome to cancel my 'subscription' and started directing me to put in information, I told him it sounded kind of fishy and that I would call my credit card company to make sure I don't get charged and he hung up on me. I then proceeded to get about 10 calls from a CA number 858-923-8274 where the person just says hello and bunch of times. I have since blocked this number. The email they sent me is below:

The email:

Thanks for using our Norton™ for the past one year!

We wanted to remind you that you've chosen the automatic renewal option. You will be billed from your saved card details for the annual amount of your plan upon expiration of your contract on Friday, November 15, 2021.

Beware of emails from Norton LifeLock saying someone used your card to renew protection and that you need to go to this site to fill something out on there to cancel and get a refund. It’s all a lie

See Attached - Please find enclosed two documents sent to me with fraudulent charges for services I never ordered. These charges were sent to my computer... ***************** on two occasions. I contacted customer service at Norton Life lock, the took this information and placed on file # 65109075 and forward a copy of the enclosed to "[email protected] per their request. Hopefully you can help prevent this from happening to others.

I received the following email from a scammer that poses as a contact for Norton Life Lock computer virus servces.

They used a bogus email address to look like the real Norton company and used their company logo.

I called the phone number below (510-694-8010) to inquire about this.

The contact did not provide me with his name. He only wanted me to log onto my computer to enter more information.

I hung up on him.

EMAIL received from "Norton Life_lock services

- Quimby, IA, USA

They asked for my credit card to try and verify things on the subscription and I said I don’t have a credit card, oh then it came from your Checking account, and they asked if I was on a computer and I said no I’m on my phone. This person got very angry with me when I would not give out my debit card number. I told them that I was not giving them any of that information and that I believed it was a scam and then I was told to [censored] off. I hung up. I will be watching our account to be sure no funds are removed.

Received an email claiming they were from Norton and were letting me know about my auto-renewal for my Norton Lifelock subscription. I've never had a Norton Lifelock subscription. They instructed me that my account will be renewed for 231.29 unless I canceled within 72 hours. They offered a phone number to call if I wanted to dispute the charge. It was clearly a scam, the email was filled with typos and it was from someone's Gmail account. I deleted it but wanted to share this with others to spread the word.

This the second email, first one I marked as spam. I did not solicit the product, nor agree to purchase it.

rec'd an e-mail this morning from "Norton Lifelock" stating I would be billed $399.57 for automatic re-upping of subscription. They did not note a debit/credit card, and I have not had a subscription for more than 2 years. They gave a phone number of 800-533-8571 if I was not in agreement....which I did not call. I contacted Norton to advise them, plus my bank. The rec'd from address on the e-mail was simply "billing" w/an e-mail address of [email protected]

I keep receiving scam emails from NortonLifelock. Their emails are [email protected] and [email protected] It states thank you for your order of Norton for one year. Activated. Gives amounts of $502 and $482. Will ship soon. I never ordered this. I have other computer protection. I called one of their phone numbers, They had two numbers. 812-356-6795 and 812-312-7848. They answered. Said they could cancel my order but I needed to go to my computer. I hung up. I think they wanted to get into my computer.

- Bunker Hill, WV, USA

Received an email titled Invoice. The email claimed that my subscription ended today and that they would auto renew my subscription for $499. I have never signed up for services from any Norton company. It said to dispute the charges to call the customer service number 1-844-365-2007 within 74 hours. I immediately checked the company name with ScamPulse.com and found the same scam going around.

I received an email from Norton 360 Lifelock on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 thanking me for my purchase. The email included a Order # and an amount for $304.98.

I have not placed an order with this company nor do I ever plan on placing an order for a computer. I do not have a personal computer at my house.

I received an email confirming an order for 1 Norton Antivirus online for $499. Product to be sent via email delivery; and amount auto debited. Phone contact provided: 1 812 541-1218, if I had any questions.

I diid not call given #, since I was leary about this email. However, I did call Norton security using another phone number to inquire about this purchase; and provided added information on email content. Apparently email was false..a scam.

- Northampton, MA, USA

Person had me go onto a web page which they said was monitored by ScamPulse.com and fill out a R3fund Cancellation form. Then directed me to my bank website to see if the refund had been credited back to my account. I was very suspicious during the entire call and was getting upset and person on other line transferred me to his “supervisor” who was as suspicious as the first. I told them I was go8ngbto call the ScamPulse.com and report scam and I hung up.
