I (target) submitted a survey via Facebook. The next day I was contacted saying I won the 2 day vacation to 3 different locations I could chose from. I asked them on the phone this sounded like a timeshare and they did mention that their company was part of a timeshare group. They said I will get the trip guaranteed if I attend a 90 minute presentation with my wife. I looked into their email address they sent confirmation I won from ([email protected]) and more into their facebook page and found they are part of a larger scam. I also used ScamPulse.com & Yelp to confirm the experience was the same I received and what would happen if I did continue forward and attend their meeting.

Below is the email they sent me.

The trip you were selected for is the 2 night hotel stay to Seaside or Newport Oregon, or Leavenworth Washington. It is good for up to four people and also includes 150$ in spending money.

Please call ahead to schedule an appointment for the 90 minute presentation in exchange for this.

You are guaranteed the vacation in exchange for the 90 minutes of your time, no purchase necessary.

Wednesday : 4pm, 6pm, 8pm

Thursday: 4pm, 6pm, 8pm,

Friday: 5pm, 7pm

Saturday: 10am, 12pm, 2pm

I am in the office Monday and Tuesday from 8am-8pm, and Wednesday and Thursday 8am-2pm to schedule appointments!
