Charged even though account was canceled

OMO postdated my cancellation. I cancelled my account and later noticed a $79 charge. So I went back and took a screenshot of my cancellation. The cancellation was postdated even past the date on the screenshot. When contacting them they claim I did not complete my cancellation and that is why. This is false as you can clearly see the date on the cancellation is postdated past my screen shot and it says CANCELED. They are post dating the cancellations and charging people.

I feel compelled to share my unfortunate experience with this app in the hope that it serves as a warning to others. Initially, I downloaded the Omo app intending to try out a trial for a minimal fee of $0.50. However, to my dismay, I found myself prepaying an exorbitant $79.20 for a three-month subscription without any explicit consent. I did reach out to their customer service and I was denied a refund!

The sign-up process is designed to mislead users into committing to a substantial financial arrangement, effectively undermining the notion of a trial period. This misleading practice is not only unethical but also places unsuspecting users in a vulnerable position.

While the Omo app claims to offer refunds for those dissatisfied with visible results, there is a glaring omission in addressing the plight of users who, like me, never utilized the service. Attempts to seek resolution through customer service were met with outright refusal, adding insult to injury.

The unauthorized withdrawal of $79.20 from my account constitutes a breach of trust and raises serious concerns about Omo's integrity. I write this review not only to share my frustration but also to caution potential users about the deceptive tactics employed by this Omo app.

If you value transparency and fairness, I strongly advise against downloading this Omo app. My intention is not to receive a generic apology but to warn others of the potential financial pitfalls associated with this service. Save yourself the trouble and avoid falling victim to what seems to be a calculated strategy to extract money from unsuspecting users.
