Offered a dog be sold and shipped. Paid for the dog. Then requested that the shipping container wasn’t suitable halfway thru transit and requested more money. Said all money would be refunded except $50 after payment.

I made an inquiry on a website that stated it was a Russian blue cattery with kittens available to adopt. They said they could ship kitten or I could come see the kittens but needed to send a deposit via Zelle to an email address: [email protected]

When I had more questions, he was vague and kept insisting on a deposit sent. I said we could drive up to see the kittens with payment in hand. When I texted to say we were on our way, to the address provided— there was no response and then phone number I had been communicating with was suddenly “disconnected/no longer in service”.

Scam trying to sell Maltipoos. Signed contract for 900 including puppy, shipping (this included nanny to be on flight with puppy) and delivery. After puppy got to connecting flight in another state, I was contacted saying she required a different crate due to weather for rest of trip -this was a 3rd party “Skyline Swift Courier” -crate recommended was 1150. Went to seller wanting to know how she could fly from Wyoming to Nevada but not Nevada to California. Also stated I would not pay more due to use having a contract. Tried to tell me “ I sort this out tomorrow morning so everything will be fine. Please be patient.” I replied with, “ I don't believe you. 'Tomorrow' isn't okay. We had a deal. You're not honoring it.”

Haven’t heard back from seller or third party courier.

Saw link for Maltipoo puppies at 9 weeks old, for $700. I sent email inquiry. Received response back via text and email. Went back and forth. Received pics and video of the pup. My sister-in-law also wanted a pup. Received pics and video. We sent money via Zelle. For pups, transportation and home delivery. Totaling $1,450. Communication got sketchy. I called, it rang and then disconnected, no vm. I text, no response. I text and said I was calling my back immediately and received an immediate response back asking why. I explained the situation and asked if we could video so I could see the pups. He asked if he could have a day to video as he was out of town. No pups, no money

We got scammed on the purchase of a maltipoo from this sight. A week later I came across the exact same site with a new name. It was kingscuddlers.com and now it is jameshouse.site. Same dogs same site, new name. Same phone number. 3073030153. I did a reverse look up on the phone number and it shows it in Cheyenne Wy. Which is actually 5 hrs away.

My son and daughter in law attempted to buy a puppy from kingscuddlers.com. They paid approximately 400 dollars (about half the cost of the dog) thru Zelle. The man sent updates on the puppy a couple of times and then about a week before he was suppose to ship the dog to Indiana, all contact ceased. He stopped responding to emails, texts and phone calls (2 different numbers). And no puppy was shipped. Today I came across another website jameshouse.site which is exactly the same as kingcuddlers website, he just changed the name of the site. Same dog pictures and everything. The dog named Matt is one they put the money down on.

I wanted to report a puppy scam I experienced in order to help prevent future families from experiencing it from this breeder. I bought a havanese puppy from John Kowal under the business of Havanese New York. They have a website, havanesenewyork.com, and an Instagram, @havanesenewyork. He advertises himself as a local breeder, when in fact he is selling puppies from Blue Ribbon puppies in Indiana. Upon my research after buying the puppy and learning he was from a puppy mill, I learned John Kowal has been doing this for a very long time. Previous victims of the scam have stated online that when the word gets out about his business of reselling puppy mill dogs and sick dogs advertised as locally bred, he makes a new website and social media account in order to hide his reputation. His business is currently in Manorville, NY. There are many online platforms where people have shared their traumatic and horrible experiences with the sick puppies they’ve bought from him.

I applied for the adoption of a gray parrot called missy. They told me I qualified and that they could take her from the adoptable fee if I paid the $350 thru Zelle. I did so on October 22. Since then, I have exchanged multiple emails and messages thru Whatsapp. They told me there was a delay because the parrot was vaccinated. For the last 3 weeks, i've been messaging them (emails, whatsapp and calls) and nobody responds. I tried to request a refund in Zelle but the account linked to [email protected] does not allow request of funds back. Although every cent is important, the worst aspect of this is that they have a website scamming people under the facase of a non profit organization who claims to rescue birds in captivity. I can't imagine how many other people have been scammed. Is there a way to recover my money and close their website so they can not scamm other people?

Devin Herne wanted $920 deposited into his Venmo account. Would not provide pics of the puppy raising conditions, akc, registration, or delivery agency.

All communication via text from phone number 408-652-8963 out of SanJose, CA

This so called dog breeder asked for money boot me to even come see the puppies. Wanted deposit sent first

I was about to buy a husky and they ask for money transfer $780

We paid a refundable reservation fee to a person who advertised himself to be a legitimate dog breeder for a possible puppy. He asked for additional money which we refused to give. We asked for a refund of our reservation fee and he has failed to do so.

BE VERY LEARY ABOUT THIS WEBSITE. THEY ARE IN BED WITH ATLANTIC EXPRESS CARRIERS. THEY CHARGE FOR THE DOG. THEY CHARGE FOR CRATE FEE. THEY CONVENIENTLY FORGOT THAT THERE IS INSURANCE FEE. THAT DELIVERY FEE. SHIPPING FEE. THEN THEY ASKED FOR A NANNY FEE TO FEED AND CARE FOR PUPPY. FEES ARE $200.00 TO SHIP. $200.00 FOR DELIVERY. $2000.00 FOR CRATE DEPOSIT ( REFUNDABLE) $1700.00 FOR INSURANCE ($1500.00 REFUNDABLE) $500.00 FOR NANNY SERVICE. WEBSITE SAYS 700.00 FOR PUPPY BUT CHARGE 900.00. NOT TRANSPARENT AND NOT HONEST.

THREATENING ME WITH JAIL TIME AND REPORTING FOR ANIMAL ABUSE. GAVE ME PROMISES AND VIDEOS AND TRACKING NUMBERS. WILL TALK TO YOU ON THE PHONE BUT MAKES EXCUSES FOR EVERYTHING. NOTHING WAS REFUNDED. THEY STOPPED ALL COMMUNITCATIONS. HAVE AN APPOINTMENT TO TALK WITH AUTHORITIES.

Please be aware of this online puppy sales scam. I was concerned because the pricing seemed to good to be true. The scammer emailed pictures and videos of an adorable maltipoo (probably stolen pictures from a legit site). He also claimed he was Christian and would never steal someone’s money in response to some of the questions I asked. He refused to do a FaceTime which was another big clue that I was dealing with a scammer. He also sent a contract with a company name different from the website company name. Thankfully I did my research and eventually put two and two together before sending any money. I’m posting to prevent others from being scammed. Pay to deal with a reputable breeder for the peace of mind, preferably a puppy you can see and meet real-time.

Hi good evening. I am not a fake i was a customer until i finished my transactions and that's when it started. I went online cause i was searching for a yorkie puppy and saw this ad from these supposed to be breeders. One they are not located in New York they are out of state . What i thought was a pretty good site and the prices were reasonable compared to what i was seeing on other web sites. I got in contact with the company and they contact me back like they said in a good reasonable time. We started the process everything was going fine I sent my information on where i lived and sent them the deposit and then i sent the rest of the money so i could get the dog shipped to me. The shipping carry is a fraud also cause everything was fine with them also but they want extra fees to ship dog which that was not in the agreement they said they would pay that for me but i had to send extra . I did cause we were in good standard and once the whole process went through. I did not here from them anymore no more email or text i could not contact the owner of the company cause the phone was disconnect and the shipping company there line was also disconnect. i advise anyone that sees this ad and wants a puppy do not do it with them they are scammers.

These people sell puppies, send you all information and contract of purchase and warranty, once you pay them, they say the have shipped the dog. After that you get an email from “the shipping company” Speed Line Movers” (https://speedlinem.com/about-us.php“ and they say you need to pay for a shipping crate that goes from $950 to $1,500 and as to expect the owner of the company disappears and never responds to your messages STAY AWAY! These people are common thieves.

I came across this website looking for a maltipoo puppy. The website informed me the breeder was in business for over 8 years. I was sent many pictures of the puppy and even had a phone call with the owner. When I spoke to him, his accent was very thick and had a lot of loud noise in the background. After numerous e-mails and texts, I decided to start the process to purchase the puppy. I printed out the contract and warranty and it seemed acceptable. The puppy was $800 and the shipping cost was $100. The owner wanted $500 deposit but ONLY through zelle or google pay. He stated that was the only method of payment. I texted him and told him I did not feel comfortable sending money that way. I never heard from him again. I then had a strong feeling I almost got scammed. Thank goodness I did not send him any money. I then found out scammers frequently ask for money through apps beacuse they are not easily traced. I then reseached the website and found out it was established only 16 days before our initial contact. I believe scammers have multiple websites they keep up and then take down after they get money. I truly believe there was never a puppy and this was a definite scam. Be careful when they ask you to only send money through, zelle, venmo, google pay, etc.... I have heard since Covid, these puppy or dog scams have been on the rise. Just do your research and be aware of the business.
