I contacted Davey Maher to sign up for a hormonal fitness and nutritional coach program. He then set up a call with me and proceeded to coerce me into believing I needed to spend $5,600 USD to understand my "gut bacteria" and "cortisol and adrenal levels" exclusively via the dynacare labs. He proceeded to ask me how much money I could spend without asking for my husband's permission. I told him it was $150 CAD. He then said I have one of 3 options: "Yes, I'm totally and completely in", "No. I don't want to lose 60 lbs in 6 months", and "I'll have to think about it", but then proceeded to say there were really only two options, yes or no. I insisted I needed to talk to my husband but he sent me the invoice via email while we were on a WhatsApp call and bullied me into paying it saying, "oh I guess you really do need your husband's permission then", and "I guess you're not really committed to this/who I thought you were". I succumbed to the pressure and paid $400 CAD. I feel deeply misled and like a pawn in some manipulative game.
