I saw some cute dresses on Facebook and asked my boyfriend to purchase them for me. I noticed that it stated $64 upon payment and confirmation but they withdrew over $80 when he checked his PayPal account without any notice of extra shipping cost or anything. They sent me a link to follow along with the order and it had grammatical errors over the course of waiting. When it said I received the package it never stated the address I put down, but “delivered to a parcel locker” in my city instead. When I complained to customer service, they sent a new tracking number on a completely different website stating completely different information. The original one said it was coming from Italy, the second stated it was coming from china. Then they told me to contact my local post office and niether tracking number worked.

I received a message on TikTok from a hat company that I thought was legit and turns out it was a fake account labeled the same as the legit company and the person took $20 from me , they have my name and address

They say it has a 30 day refund policy. Then in a different paragraph they tell you they will not allow returns of personal beauty products or perishable goods (food). They have an address for returns but no phone number for customer service. When you try to cancel a subscription, they send an email back asking you to reconsider, but never finalize the cancellation. Horrible.

Ordered part 7 Jan 2025, showed in stock. Order went to a status of complete the next day, according to website. Spoke with a person at Sears Parts Direct a week later and was advised order had not been sent to supplier. Checked status on 21 Jan 2025, order showed in progress. Rechecked status 22 Jan 2025 and order had went to backordered. Spoke with live person and advised that I wanted to cancel the order and was advised it would take 3 to 5 days for their cancellation department to take action and then 3 to 5 more business days to receive my refund. This business appears to sell parts, shown as in stock on the website, and then hold money in order to draw interest from it. When consumer gets upset and cancels the order they make money off of other peoples funds without providing a service. This is very dishonest practices and they should be banned from doing ANY business in the US.

I was in the middle of signing up my son for his soccer tournament and the credit card part popped up. I figured it just needed to hold the spot for the tournament with the card. Once I put my card number in it then took me to the site that had all these different Shows and movies and said that I enrolled in Kaldu and I was now going to be charged for the subscription. I am mediately called the number provided multiple times. They said that I was not subscribe to the channel when I had my own login, credentials, and everything. When I threatened to call Better Business Bureau, they then said they would return the money and I asked for a confirmation email when I looked this morning they had taken the money out already.

Everything on this site is priced $129.98. Sectional couches, electronics everything. $129.98. No phone number to contact and they are even getting on Facebook market permitting the business and saying they are certified with the BBB.

DMVrecord.com took 28.95 out of my checking account 2 months. It appears to be a state website but it is not. Check out their about me.

They advertised cbd gummies for 39. but charged me 129.99 in Dec 2024, I called to cancel and they refunded my 129.99 but the next month they charged me 129.99 again, so I called again and had it cancelled again. I will have to close my credit card account as I don't trust them. Call center sounds like its out of the country, they also sell under various names, rejuvagen is one.

Skillsta bombards people with ads on Social media like Instagram. When I clicked on the link to take the quiz, it immediately asked for my credit card information at the end of the quiz. I provided this information thinking I was obtaining a 30-day subscription to the app. I downloaded the app to my iPhone, tried to sign-in many times, changed the password, and everything else i could do to no avail. I was never able to sign in. They tell you to contact Apple to cancel the subscription at any time, however Apple support was not able to do anything because I made the payment directly to Skillsta. I emailed Skillsta using the address provided on their website and someone responded to me giving me instructions to do the exact same things I had already been doing to get access to the app. This person then said if I continue to have problems signing in, to please video record what I was doing. I write them back to ask how I'm supposed to video record when I am actually using my phone to access the app? No response still to this day. The next day I went to Skillsta's website and the support email address had completely changed to a new email. So another obvious red flag. I then searched their Instagram account and saw plenty of comments on their posts calling them scammers. They didn't even bother to respond. It is 100% a scam. I am having to change my credit card number and security code altogether because of this. The initial charge was $9.99, but they then say that I will be charged automatically every month thereafter. Seeing as how it's a total scam, I'm guess they will try to do more than that. I asked Apple to remove the fraudulent app from their app store and I am planning to escalate to Instagram as well. Best to ignore all ads from Instagram! I was hopeful in thinking that this app would be useful similarly to Duolingo and that I could use it to improve my public speaking skills. Oh the other thing is that this company's address is in Cyprus and the company name on the emails, app, and credit card statement are all different.

Bought a used snowmobile part on Facebook platform, after sending an electronic funds transfer for the part, the person would not reply to me about shipping. After a day or so, they replied and sent me screenshots of a tracking number that I could use to track my part. Shortly after they replied that they need a refundable deposit for shipping insurance. That is when the shipping company contacted me via email, and stated they needed a deposit soon as the plane was going to leave soon. The tracking number the company sent and the tracking number the person I bought the part from were different. I became suspicious so I did not reply that night. Throughout the night I received a few more emails and one from a personal email stating a man worked there and was wondering what was going on, as the plane was going to leave soon. This was sent at 2:08 am my time. After doing a few online searches discovered others have had this same approach, and listing that it was all a scam. After calling them out on it, they tried to reassure me it was a legit company. Be careful out there folks. Was scammed out of the money for the part but not the shipping.

This website makes you pay $1 for a vehicle report but then charges you $29 a month despite multiple times trying to cancel with no response. Now the website doesn’t exist and they’re still trying to take money out of my account!!! This is connected to Apple Pay and I cannot dispute

Order placed online, confirmation email received, shipping email received (never shipped, label printed), multiple emails/inquiries without ANY response.

They do not know how to measure for a bra. If you say your band, under bust, is 34in and order it, they send you a bra with a measurement 10in shorter than that. I reached out to customer care as it is their bad, was advised to show the packaging and that nothing has been worn, ok I get that. Still waiting for a reply from customer service as it has been over a week for any form of response since then. Not to mention, after reading the T&C having to pay for return shipping no matter what is ridiculous. Not sure I should have expected any different after researching and confirming they are a sweatshop based out of China. The IL address on the return label is just stuck over the one shipping each order from China to them. It is also the reason it takes almost 2 weeks before they have a tracking number to show your shipment. It is a complete farse.

I received an email from a professional organization that I am a part of, offering a piano to a good home. The woman, Donna Bass, got me in touch with Cleveland Jones who was supposedly the mover of the piano. He happily accepted my $556 to move the piano to my home. However, after accepting the payment there was a "snag" and he needed an additional $1300 to insure the piano. This raised the red flag to me and I called their bluff. Donna and Cleveland are now trying to bully me into giving them more money to move the piano. Here is the contact information they used:
