They had my credit card due to me purchasing another service. They signed me up for a service I did not request and wanted to charge me $89 for a monthly service. I did not sign up for very predatory approach.

This business start charging my credit card without my consent in May 19th 2024. I don't know the business, never contacted them and was never contacted by them. They kept charging my credit card monthly for $3.50.

They do not pick up calls on 657.226.0606 nor answer e-mails on [email protected].

I don't know how my credit card information was obtained by them.

Instagram add that misrepresented digital service, asks for payment information and then goes to “welcome” page without any amount paid / terms / conditions or confirmation shown for payment or what you’re paying for.

Company claims to be in “Estonia” but has an address in India. Paying for service also is automatically agreeing to an auto-subscription to services that are not clearly defined. They refuse to refund you. They also have PayPal on their side because PayPal told me I didn’t escalate my dispute within a proper time frame when I did. Their social media sites have a bunch of other people complaining about being scammed as well.

They also HARASS with probably upwards of 10 emails a day for many different health / spa / digital services. They also text your phone number repeatedly offering services that you can find online for free. They need to be shut down.

I was searching for a service to convert PDF to Word Documents and also editing documents. The website www.smallpdf.com offered the service for a 7- day free trial offer. The day I signed up for it was the same day I canceled the trial offer, because I was not satisfied with the service. I canceled the subscription however, I have been charged every month for the past 3 months for the service. There is no phone number to contact customer support and the email for support is [email protected]. They never respond to the emails. The address Steinstrasse 21, 8003 Zürich, Switzerland, should have been a warning to me about this scam.

In March 2024, I was looking for an old property record. Google search brought me to this site (PropertyRecs.com) which appeared legit. It asked me to pay $1 for the record, I did.

Little did I know that it started charging my credit card $9.95 per month. Since It's less than $10, I did not get an alert. I found out about the charge 5 months later. When ask why I was charged, the "chat bot" said I enrolled in a volume discount package that will charge me $9.95 per month. It's been a while, but I don't recall agreeing to such terms when I only needed one record.

The "chat bot" automatically agreed to close my account, not even trying to "hold me to my agreement" -- which indicated they do this a lot.

I post this and hope others will be alerted.

I emailed them directly and told them I downloaded a FREE app...when I saw the debit to my bank account, I emailed them immediately to dispute the charge. They said I signed up for a subscription which I did NOT...it was a free trial app and I deleted it when I didn't like it. Then I tried to dispute it with Paypal and they denied returning my money. I can't get a refund from either places! THey just took money out of my account without any authorization on my part!

I received an email stating that I signed up for a monthly subscription. It had my name and email address and home address in the email. I did not sign up for anything!

Predatory business practice of charging users a full subscription price by convincing them they are only signing up for a free trial

- Drexel Hill, PA, USA

Subscribed for 6 month IPTV service plan and received only 3 months service. Company stated partner issues and was locked out of panel. Requested for refund several times and never got it. Company only provided an option of another service and wanted me to subscribe to it which would be more money.

They claim I can’t cancel my account and won’t help me in getting out of recurring yearly charges

I spoke to an agent on this website for tv subscription (https://apollogrouptv.tv) I was told how to send the money, I did. And did not get the subscription and no reply from agent

After attempting to use a mobile parking website, something popped up on my phone saying that the closeout of my parking fee was unsuccessful. I couldn't get out of the screen. I was told to click on continue for a free membership in something. I then received a charge for $49.95 which the credit card company declined. There were also charges for $1 and $1.95. Apparently this "company" is tracking parking activity to target people.

This was a company (Antheia Services Ltd, Larnaca, Cyprus offering free subcritption to a dating site but once signed on it say that the person has subscribed to 2 companies, cupid.com and cupiddates.com, both with bogus profiles, and payment has to be made every month, and both sites start taking money almost immediately. Trying to cancel the subscrition is impossible since customer service confirms on phone and they even confirm by email that subscription is cancelled but they keep taking the maney. These are fraudulent practices and this company must be investigated and other lonely and vulnerable people protected.

This is the most messed up situation - UNBELIEVABLE!!! I was on Tik Tok came across a sight called thedailyboxclub.com. They were advertising all these free things from Amazon for $54.00. I was not aware it was a subscription I changed my mind at the last minute and assumed the charge did not go through as I never received any confirmation whatsoever, no phone number, no address, no subscription, no charges, NOTHING. I checked my CC and saw there were TWO charges of $54.oo each two days in a row. So I call my cc Citibank (I'm putting their name out here as well as they made this more of a nightmare!!) and tell them what's happened and that the company was not not whom they said they were and that there was no contact information for them except for an email i found on the internet [email protected]. I emailed them about 20 times no answer. In the mean time my credit card takes the two charges off and does a so called investigation. 2 days later they have put the charges back on my cc to pay! Never mind that there are two suspicious charges two days in a row of the same amount. The CC company claims they have contacted dailyboxclub.com and that I am responsible for the charges. If the company was as legit as they say they are why didn't they answer my emails? Give some contact information for me to contact them? I argued and argued with Citibank did no good they say dailyboxclub.com is legit and therefore put the charges back on my credit card. I called them every day explaining to them this company was fraudulent!! I then contact the ScamPulse.com they contact me to day and say that they have contacted the dailyboxclub on my behalf and that their explanation is their name is NOT dailyboxclub.com Im mixed up! They are some vape company online. I tell ScamPulse.com this they say not their problem. I call Citibank again to tell them company is a fraud they claim their investigators will let me know yet again!

What do I have to do hire an attorney for $108.00 and a company that is allowed to get away with these scams???

I purchased the Luminess product by phone. I was told that I could cancel at any time. My credit card used solely for that purchase was involved in fraudulent activity so it was closed and I was issued a new card. The first payment had gone through to Luminess. I rcvd an invoice from Luminess for a second monthly subscription so I called and canceled within the 30 day time frame, spoke to an employee.

9 months later, I received an invoice from a collection agency for the 2nd month supply which I never rcvd since I canceled. On top of that, were late and collection charges. I called and tried to explain. The collection team would not let me explain, just said I had to pay 349. I tried calling the company who said there is nothing to do since it is in collections.

I had to pay for something I never received. I feel this may be a scam with their customer service and want to make other buyers aware.

This was terrible. I am out that money to avoid bad credit issues.

they ask you to sign up for a free video watching service like Netflix but then charge you 1.00. I froze the account before they took more money.

The app "Water Sort" purports to have an ad free option for purcjase. However, upon purchasing the ad free version of the app, the user is still forced to face ads .

I found an unknown charge to my account. After contacting my bank, they made me aware they have been charging my account since Jan. 2023. After the first three months they changed their company's name and started charging my account through that company. They have now stolen over $500 from my account. When searching the website, it cannot find it. When calling, I get an automated response that gives a run a round with no resolve.

On LinkedIn, I discovered a page called "HustleWing" that promoted part-time remove positions. I applied and received an email from someone named Jessica, recommending I create an account as there were more opportunities available. I created an account and paid a $29/month membership fee. Once I get access, there are no jobs available related to what I was looking for. I filled out a series of questions about my experience and it somehow posted as if I was the business hiring. The profile makes it impossible to delete this information about myself that's now public, and I cannot unsuscribe my monthly membership fee. I soon found out that "Jessica" is not real and a bot. They have no contact info on their website and no way of cancelling my membership, so I need to call my credit card company to block them from charging me and to report it as a scam. They even go about posting video interviews with so-called startup businesses looking to hire, to make it appear they're legit. I'm not sure how they have over 60K followers on linked in, but the services they advertise are false and this is a complete scam.

Make You Fluent is heavily advertised on Facebook. It is advertised as an AI product that helps with language learning. I am studying Spanish. It seemed to address all the things I was looking for from a language learning perspective. I signed up for 6 months at $49.99. The terms and conditions were clear that there were no refunds but the website and emails seemed professional, so I went forward (I know, I should have known better.) I was given a link to use on my iPhone to access the service. It brought me to a website that I couldn't move around on so I was never able to load the app on my phone. The service is not designed to use from a computer. At that point I went online to check out reviews. There were a number of reviews that said the service was a scam (www.trustpilot.com.) I immediately requested a refund, but they said they couldn't provide one because it is a digital product (which I don't understand.) They then said that they will make an exception and give me a 30% refund. Assuming I get the refund, my total outlay will only be $35 so I am not so concerned about the loss of money but more the possibility that this is a scam that should be stopped.
