I thought I was going to the government website to renew my passport. When they asked for my credit card number with a $90 fee I thought it was for the passport. They were given my address, birthday, full name, social security number and provided an unknown service. They sent me my passport form filled out (incorrectly). It was at this point that I contacted the Federal Government and they informed me this was a third party website and I should not have been charged. I have been trying to protect my identify following this. I contacted the company and they said they would not refund the money, but also did not provide what they actually did in the passport process.

Pose as state department for passport. All they do is take your personal info and populate a PDF file which has to be printed and mailed. There is a tiny disclaimer on top that says they are not the government site, but I did not see it at first and did NOT click "I understand".

I was trying to renew my passport online. This website popped up as a government website (I thought). I put in my SSN, my parents' names, my address, and other very important things. I realized it was a scam after I already paid the $68 because it then said I had to pay $103 for the passport. I did not realize I was using a company that assists with passport renewal. I immediately called them and they had a message saying they could not answer. I left my name and number. I then emailed them and complained about the charge and I wanted a refund and my information removed. They only replied about the refund and did issue one immediately.

My daughter started to filled out her passport renewal application and got to this website pass-travel-usa.com She put her identifiable information and paid $65.00 + $20.95 for passport insurance in case the packet get lost. When she completed the application It showed a link to download her packet and it stated the has been sent to her email account. I told her not to click the link and look in her email to double check if the they sent the information. After waiting for over 10 minutes I looked into the company website and noticed they don’t have an easy way to get in contact with them, looked at reviews and saw many stating it’s a scam website not provide the service they offer.

The website looks like a U.S. government website, making it easy to mistakenly enter sensitive personal information, including the user's social security number, in an attempt to renew a passport.

- San Jose, CA, USA • Apr 28, 2024

Website misrepresents themselves as official US passport renewal site, and does not sufficiently notify users of such. Very shady and scummy practices.

- North Hollywood, CA, USA • Apr 24, 2024

This fake website is trying to take information regarding people's applications for passports including DS-11, DS-82 and DS-64 forms. They took private information such as SSI, names, DOB, and other important information.

- Ashford, AL, USA • Apr 10, 2024

When you got into the website, you were told that you had to complete a DS 11 form to apply for a passport. You then had to input information including social security number, parents names and birth locations, etc. It asked you if you wanted an expedited passport, and how much extra that would be. Never once did it say that the website would simply fill out a form that you could access for free. It said that you had to fill this form out with them and pay them money and they would send your passport application to the government.

Website appears to be government site for passport renewal. Does not say anything about not being 3rd party or having separate processing fees.

- Baltimore, MD, USA • Apr 04, 2024

Claimed to be a passport app site but just took my money and never sent the documents.

- North Hollywood, CA, USA • Apr 01, 2024

This site is a RIP OFF. They just fill out a COMPLETELY FREE form. I was tired and so I should've double checked, but I filled out my passport renewal on what looked like a government site and paid what I thought was the renewal fee only to be told I needed to print the filled out forms and THEN PAY THE RENEWAL FEE on top of that. I was so angry. I've emailed them but I'm not very hopeful to get my money back. NOW THEY HAVE MY INFORMATION. DON'T TRUST THIS SITE.

- Raleigh, NC, USA • Mar 22, 2024

Website designed to look like USA passport renewal website. Does complete a DS-11 and charges $68 as if submitting the form. However service is only pdf of the submitted information and all work and fees to submit must still be completed.

- Titusville, FL, USA • Feb 27, 2024

I looked up a way to get a passport for the first time. Filled out all my personal information, paid $67 by credit card, message said an application was sent to my email address, no email was received, charge did go through on my credit card, I stopped payment on the card, but it had already went through. I'm more worried about them having all my personal information.

- Moreno Valley, CA, USA • Feb 26, 2024

home page looks the same as passport application page through US Postal service. Asked for all information including parents birth names, ssn, debit information.

- Fort Smith, AR, USA • Feb 03, 2024

Website seemed legit and very low key, not suspicious

- Winston Salem, NC, USA • Jan 27, 2024

This site appears to be a 3rd party affiliated with the US Government for processing passports. It is not. It collects sensitive personal information. The privacy policy of this site is very weak and there is no information available to determine if this is actually a legitimate business or if it is a scam site that collects information that may be used for identify theft.

- Ringgold, GA, USA • Jan 25, 2024
