person called and said he was a PCH agent and that I won 9.3 million dollars. I asked him how he got my info and he said when I bought my phone I was entered in the drawing, but my phone is a land line and there is no connecting through a special service, so its a lie. Now, he tried to get info on me and my address and account numbers in the bank. So you can see he is a thief, Indian also, you have to be careful when they cant answer your questions clearly and when they say you win but don't know who you are. His number is 876-426-6572..fraud

I received the initial call from a person claiming to be Jane Jefferson from Publishers Clearing House. "Jane" informed me that I had won the first prize of $950,000 and a car being donated from Geico. He assured me that it would cost me nothing, that I simply won the prize but I had to call 876-467-1503 and speak to David Sawyer as he was the manager or something. Out of curiosity I called David Sawyer and was treated to almost bullying tactics to get me to go to Walmart to purchase that certified check for $179, which would pay for the taxes on my prize. The most disgusting and disheartening part of this whole ridiculous situation is how Mr. Sawyer gloated about being such a Christian man, that he believed in the Lord, he did not lie, and that his heart was pure. I was informed of this after I asked him for a method of verification on the legitimacy of this, and telling him that the loss of $179 would mean no Christmas presents for my son. And also comma he would not provide any methods of verification nor would he reveal the name or company of his CPA so those references could be checked. Finally comma I ended this annoying call and expressed to Mr Sawyer that I hope he can find some peace in his soul.(My expectations of that are not real high!)

Caller said fees and charges are from the federal state of North Carolina. They wanted the victim to have paper and pen and take down info. The charges will only be $2,500. They said this is what the state requires -- it's their money. Apparently the State has lawyers close by today and could stop by and pick up the money. They offered a package code of 905AR27. Reference number 010390UA. Batch #4710901. They wanted to know if she wanted the winnings announcement published in the newspaper and TV. She said no, and they said it's better to be a private person. Wanted to know if she was a citizen of the U.S. by birth. The caller said his name is David Brown and that he's not trying to trick you into anything -- it's the good Lord shining down on her. She knew it wasn't right to have to pay out money so she hung up.

Received phone call stating he was representative of Publishers Clearing House & that I had won a large sum of money. Very difficult to understand due to background noise. He verified my name and address and kept asking "OK". I never answered OK, just yes I understand... He has now called 7 - 8 times even though I ask him not to call back & that I had looked at the rules for Publishers Clearing House and they say they DO NOT call a winner in advance. Nothing has happened yet, but I'm worried that this person(s) can hack my computer or phone or something.

Received several calls from 929-800-2058 in two days. I finally answered and a Mark Goldberg (said he was with with PCH) informed me I had won 8.5 Million dollars. He actually faxed a copy of the check image from Bank of America with my name on it. The letter said I also won a 2016 motor car, free insurance for 3 long years from Geico, and two years of free gas. The IRS and there agencies have played a major role in the processing of my claim. Taxes that should have been paid were reduced to a minimum amount: therefore I needed to contact my accounting manager for further information. the agent is 929-800-2058 Ext 225. Mr. Roger Decamaron (Accounting Manager). I finally hung up on Mr. Goldberg and they got NO money. BEWARE.

Man called told me to call & ask for another person & he would tell me what I won & then asked for money in the end & go to the bank then Walmart. When he started asking for the money I realized it was a scam & I called you.

A man with an accent called and said he was with PCH, Publisher's Clearing House. He said his name was David Johnson, and wanted me to write down a badge number, claim number, and several other numbers. He asked for my name and when I would be home to accept a prize of $1.8 million and a Mercedes Benz. Next, he wanted to know how far away I was from a WalMart or Walgreens. I don't know what this was for, except to possibly purchase something. I told him I was busy, and he wanted to call back in three hours, but about an hour and a half later that number rang by cell phone again, and I did not answer the call. When I did arrive home, I called the BBB, who confirmed it was a scam, and that the 876 area code for the number was for Jamaica.

He called saying that she won $385,000 and a 2016 gmc Denali and that all she had to do was go to a local walmart, walgreens or cvs to purchase a invitation receipt to claim my prize. The price went from $950 to $200 to purchase the invitation receipt to claim my prize. She explained to Mr. Jack Miller that she needed to speak to my daughter because she handles all my finances and that I would have her call him. She called him and after her questioning him and the publisher clearing house process to redeem prizes, he hung up.

I received a phone call from John McCarty with Publishers Clearing House. He had a very heavy foreign accent and told me I had won a new car and some money but needed to send $305 by Western Union to Chicago in order to collect my prize.

I received a text message from PCH saying that I was a grand prize winner of $3 million dollars. I asked where my balloons and bubbles and big check. He said it is 100% legit. I knew it was a scam.

The lady said her name was Mary Jones and I had won the Mega Millions Sweepstakes and a Mercedes. She told me the ScamPulse.com and the government gave her my information and phone number. They wanted me to go to Walmart and CVS and pay the taxes so they could deliver my car and money.

A person calling himself Donald Taylor called on a business phone line. He said that he was calling from PCH and that I had won 2.5 million and a new Mercedes! He gave me his phone number. He also gave me a prize number (EK69491582300US) and a winner's package number(PC18669975997) and had me repeat these numbers to him. He also gave me the name of a UPS driver (James Washington) whom he would connect me with later in the conversation. He asked me if I wanted confidential delivery or non confidential delivery of the prize. The he said he had some questions to ask me, the first of which was "Are you a U.S. citizen". I was interrupted (as this is a business) and he eventually hung up. So, I never heard what I had to do to claim these fabulous prizes. I called the number and it rolled over to voice message, but was for the person who had called. He seemed to speak with an accent, but I couldn't make out exactly where from. He sounded very legit if it hadn't been to good to be true.

I got a call from Publishers Clearing House saying I had won 1.5 million dollars and I needed to go to Western Union and wire $585 to Lowell, Ma. I told the man I was going to pass on the win and he got really irritated and said that I could just wire $200 then. I said no thank you and called the BBB.

I got a call on Saturday at 1:00 saying I had won 6.5 million and a 2016 Mercedes and they gave me a package number and ticket number and told me I need to go to United and they would give me instructions on how to send them $485. He said he was a deacon at his church and his name was John Peters. I hung up and called the BBB.
