Scammer offered a puppy, once deposit was paid and we refused to sign the contract without vet history they suddenly stopped responding until we found out another person was scammed. They claim to be AKC registered and are not. The previous story was exactly what had happened to us.

My mom was looking for a boxer puppy to buy and found this "reputable breeder". After verifying which puppy she wanted to buy Rebecca Machado asked for a deposit of $450. My mom unfortunately paid it. THEN the next day Rebecca Machado asked for my mom to sign a "dog bill of sale" and to pay another deposit of $200. My mom began to feel uncomfortable with these transactions and asked questions. After looking at the facebook page further we realized there were lots of typos and strange wording in the descriptions, the reviews seemed fake, and some of the same puppy pictures were being used. We even messaged someone who supposedly bought a puppy and they claimed Rebecca was reputable but we think we were talking to the same scammer who was trying to sell us a puppy. My mom called her out on this and asked for her money back and the scammer replied with a middle finger and blocked my mom. My mom never got the money back. DO NOT BUY FROM REBECCA MACHADO.

I found them on Google.  They told me they would sell me a blue heeler puppy for $700 and that they would fly him out to me for an additional $300.  I asked them if I could pay over the phone and just give them my credit card numbers.  They said they couldn't do that and asked me to pay using PayPal or Zelle.  I told them I couldn't do that.  They told me to purchase two pre-paid American Express cards and send them pictures of the front and nack of each card.

The scammer has a Facebook page as a dog breeder named Jesie’s Doodles. She sent lots of information, photos, and videos of the dog that I was buying. She originally stated they were located in Columbia, NC then it was Columbia, SC. She also stated that they had shipped dogs previously to Ohio and Maryland. She stated that I only had to pay for the courier fee to get the dog here from SC and I didn’t need to pay the rest until I received the dog. The arrival times kept changing according to her. I finally got the “tracking email” through Pawsitive Porters which provided a link and tracking number with my name, phone number, email, and home address where the dog was supposed to be delivered. She also tried to get me to send the payment early before arrival by saying her daughter had cardiac issues the night before. The tracking number then showed the dog leaving from two different places in NC to GA and then KY. Once in KY it was placed on hold and I received another email about needing certain permits for the dog to complete the arrival which was something that was never discussed. Several hundred more dollars were being asked and the tracker stopped updating. She also stopped responding and attempted to contact my mother to tell her about the permits needing to be paid. The dog was never delivered and there were no more updates. The pictures I was sent and the picture sent to my mother stating the dog was with the “courier nanny” was clearly not the same aged dog. The grammar was also off on the messages and the emails/document sent regarding the transit and the hold in KY. I have kept screenshots of some of these messages and tracking information. In the shipping label she used the name “Jessie White” but the email begins with “Jessy” and the Facebook page is “Jesie”. The Zelle account that they had the courier fee paid to was “New Optimum LLC” and the corresponding email was “[email protected]

Attempted purchase of puppy found her in Facebook group. She had several reviews listed on page from what appeared to be other people. I asked the admin of the group if she was legit and shes said that shes been a breeder for ten years. I communicated with her multiple times via Facebook and then her FB was "hacked" and no longer accessible, I reached out to the admin of the group and she said she would contact her and she asked if I had whats up to communicate I said no have her text me. she texted me and we comunicated that way. I had to pay a 500$ deposit for puppy and it would arrive by courier two days later. I again confirmed with admin of group are you sure, she said yes you will get your puppy. Two days later she sent me the company she was using for transport and they were new line movers - also scam see other post for them. She continued to say pay for what they are asking its refundable and you will get your puppy, I said I will not pay additional and she said she would pay half and I pay rest and I said no, and she said the puppy will be abondoned if I dont pay and I refused to pay.

Posed as a registered dog breeder. I contacted the owner through the website, inquiring about a puppy listed as available. Initially they were quick to respond via text message and email. They readily accepted me as buyer and proceeded with sending a ‘transfer of ownership’ contract to be signed and requesting down payment. They also asked for screenshots proving payment. I complied. The following morning I received a text message asking if I had received their email. The email said that they needed the remaining money due because one of the other females died after delivering 8 pups and they needed the money to care for the new puppies. Previously they had told me the other dog wasn’t due for another 5 weeks. Again they asked for a screenshot proving payment. Afterwards the emails became very short. I tried calling and they wouldn’t answer, instead texting me with excuses. I text them asking for more pictures and videos of the puppy. More excuses. I requested an updated contract showing payment in full and name change. No response. I did Google image search on the puppy pictures previously received and found multiple sites using the same pictures. I then realized I had fallen for a scam. I searched the address given for the pickup and it showed a house in the middle of the city, when they said on their website that they had 3 acres. I couldn’t find the owner online anywhere.

I came across the website https://6star-beagles.com and wanted to buy a puppy. I contacted them and they asked me to send a deposit which I did using PayPal. They told me that the puppy was ready to ship to me. However, they told me that I needed to buy or rent a specially air-conditioned crate for the puppy because of the weather. Another individual who claimed to be a shipping agent emailed me and asked me to pay $650 for the crate, which he said was 97% refundable.

-----

It was not easy going through with the registration process, but thank God it has been done, the weather out here is too cold. Before I forget, when I finished doing the registration, the agent in the office rejected the normal crate I brought in order to ship the puppy, the agent said the puppy can not travel inside a normal crate, that he will require to travel inside an approved thermal electronic heater crate to make sure his temperature is regulated each time the weather changes or go abnormal for him. The agency showed me some available crates for sale and for rentals. So the agent said the amount required for the crate rental is 97% refundable after a safety delivery of your puppy in your address. This rental fee is a caution they placed on their crates to make sure all customers return the crates back to them after delivery. They said they will contact you to explain the process more and also inform you on the various types of crates they have available for rent and for sale. They will hand over the puppy to you including the normal crate which I gave them but was rejected. ----- End

I became very suspicious of this transaction and asked them to cancel my purchase. However, I have not heard back from the seller.

We wanted to put in a reservation for a kitten. They said they had some available right now and they were only $550 but we'd also have to pay for shipping which would be $200 in addition. We decided this looked suspicious and asked if we could speak to someone on the phone. They then provided me with a street address and a phone number. When I called it was a man with a heavy Indian accent. I asked his name and he stumbled on his words and said Spencer. He then acted as if I was being rude so I hung up. Clearly this is a scam

- Kent, WA, USA • Jan 16, 2024

The Riverview Siamese Kittens & Cats web site was fairly professionally made, and it appeared to be a legitimate business. I contacted them about purchasing two female kittens named Ella and Rosie. They provided me with an Adoption Contract [which also had the ScamPulse.com stamp on the bottom] and a 1-year health guarantee after I provided them with regional information of closest airports , etc. Payment was made via PayPal and they told me to process it as friends and family to avoid the PayPal service fees. Once payment was made and cleared, they contacted me that they kittens would be shipped directly and the shipper contacted me with travel arrangements. The shipping company is called Global Movers Delivery CO. https://www.globalmoversdelivery-co.com/index.html They provided me with a tracking number and would be in contact with me throughout their travels. This afternoon they stated that the kittens are in Salt Lake City UT and cannot be allowed to proceed past without a $2010 refundable pet insurance plus the following:

Animals (R.S.P.C.A.). The maximum punishment was 6 months of "hard labor" with a fine of 8500.00 Dollars.

If the insurance certificate is not provided within 24 hours, we shall place the Kittenss under PET ABUSE AND ABANDONMENT, which is punishable by law according to the rules above.

The cost of the Re-fund-able Insurance Policy calculated by our statisticians are calculated below.

ORIGIN OF THIS INSURANCE SCHEME

This insurance scheme was introduced to protect the lives of animals, pets and livestock traveling within the US and EU. This is because animals and pets have lost their lives, and airlines or travel agencies have usually been forced to pay huge amounts as compensation. For this reason, the Life Insurance Scheme for Animals was introduced so that if anything happens to your animals during transportation in case of accident, wrong delivery, lost or dead, the Agency will be free from any charge, as the insurance will cover the compensation or fee placed on them and not the agency. So you will be fully refunded by the Insurance Company that insured your animal or pet.

SOLUTION TO GET YOUR PET ON its WAY.

It will take a day or more depending on the Insurance Corporation to fully insure a pet with Valid Insurance Permit to be given a pass to be transported within the US. V3Cargo is ready to provide a Partial Refundable Insurance Scheme that will guide the life of your pet during this delivery. However, you will be required to deposit an insurance fee, which will depend on the Worth of your pet. From the above, the Life Insurance fee you are supposed to deposit to V3 Cargo is (2,010USD) and your pet can travel through its lifetime through the US/UK/EU without any problems. Due to a good number of complaints by clients of numerous shipping agencies about this Insurance Scheme, the US/UAE Union Animal Aviation Commission came out with a Refundable Animal Life Insurance Scheme. Therefore, we provide the Following;

You could use our Partial Insurance Scheme to insure your pet's Life. This cost is 2,010 USD. This will guide the life of your pet only during the rest of the transportation and 100% of the fee will be refunded to you in Cash once your Vet approves the pet's Health upon delivery.

ADVANTAGES OF THE REFUNDABLE INSURANCE SCHEME

The advantage here is that the deliveryman in cash will refund 2,010 USD to you upon delivery of your pet at your doorstep the second advantage is your pet gets to travel to your home for just $10 thus benefiting from the cost reduction we offer.

Majestic Australian Shepherd is offering older puppies at reduced cost due to new litter being born. My daughter emailed them and received videos and pics. She asked for a FaceTime call to see dog and personality and lady said her hubby doesn’t allow due to security reasons. Upon further investigation they stole the pics from an Instagram account started in 2019.

- Albuquerque, NM, USA • Jan 06, 2024

Michael, the breeder reached out to me after I inquired about the puppies online via text message. I asked him if we could speak on the phone and he was willing to do so. When we spoke on the phone, he was professional and answered all questions. I could hear puppies barking in the background. He followed up with pictures showing how the dogs are shipped and everything they come with. He told me that he was shipping out 4 other dogs the next day so he would get the 2 puppies (Star and Sparkle) sent at that time. Michael kept in contact with me the entire time that evening via phone. I paid the 60% deposit fee ($570) of the total $950 cost for 2 puppies via ApplePay. The next day Michael contacted me again to let me know that the puppies were being sent to delivery agent for delivery. He sent me the transfer of ownership paperwork for both dogs as well as the tracking number for the puppies. The puppies were supposed to reach my destination that evening around 8:55 pm. He was shipping them via Skyway Express Delivery. As you can imagine, we were excited to get our new puppies. I then received an update to shipping stating that the puppies were being held in Arkansas because they were examined by a vet and the puppies needed medications to regulate their temperature and a climate controlled crates as their temperatures were dropping. I was told by the delivery company that this was going to be an additional $1200 per dog to rent the crates ans get the medications for the dogs and the dogs would be delivered the next day. Concerned about the dogs, especially given their size, this seemed like a reasonable request, so I paid the requested amount. I was assured by the shipping company that this would be fully refunded once the puppies arrived. This was all communicated to me via email and chat with the delivery agent via their chatting platform. The next morning I woke up to emails from the customs pet control agency stating that their was an issue with the puppies being released because they needed a USDA certificate or they would be placed in quarantine for 6 months. It was $1500 (per dog) for a category c certificate. Of course I was enraged when I heard this and was told by the Arkansas Pet control agency as well as delivery representative that this was a new law that was passed and the money would be refunded once they delivered the puppies. I did some research and did find that the category C permit is a real thing and that it is required by some states. Once again, worries about the puppies, I sent the money, this time via Amex gift cards because ApplePay wasn’t working. The puppies didn’t make it to my home that night because they said they needed the permits to be signed off by their board so they were valid. This came from the Arkansas Pet Controller. Then today (1/6/24) I woke up to an email telling me that the travel documents were expired because the breeder only made them valid for 24 hours and it was over 24 hours that he puppies had been at the Arkansas location. The entire day (1/5/24) I had been in communication with the delivery agent, Arkansas Pet control department, as well as the breeder. I asked for pictures of the puppies but was told by the delivery company that they were at a different location and they would send pics when they were getting loaded in plane. They were supposed to arrive by 8:55 pm on the 5th, but of course they needed an additional $1000 to complete the signatures needed to process the refunds. They said this was needed to process the paperwork that the delivery agent will give to the receiving airport so the courier could get the cash refund and give me cash upon arrival. The morning of 1/6/24 I was then informed via email as well as phone call that since rhe transfer paperwork was expired it was going to be an additional $1600 per dog to get the expired paperwork taken care of so the puppies could legally come to NM. I spoke with the delivery company agent at (984) 283-9710 and he informed me that the puppies could not be released until this was done, that this was not a scam, informed me I could alert authorities, but that would delay the transport of the puppies and if we didn’t get done today they would have to wait until Monday to be shipped. He also told me that he would be able to give me a discounts and process the paperwork for $2500 total, so once again, not knowing if the puppies were there I complied and sent the money. I was told by the Arkansas Pet Controll agency that because the puppies had already been transferred to my name they were legally my responsibility now, and I could face charges for not taking care of them. I then received an email from them again stating that $1000 dollars was needed to process the refunds. They sent me a signed certificate showing that the refunds were to be processed, so it seemed legit. I had also been talking to the breeder via text and he assured me that this was legit and that this has happened before but it wasn’t common and all his clients had received their refunds. I paid this and I received and email with updated delivery information. The puppies were supposed to leave on the 5:45 flight and arrive at 8:30 PM. I then received an email asking me to send them the certificate of ownership which I did. Arkansas Pet Controller then said that the certificate needed to be in my name and was completed incorrectly and it was an additional $800 to complete said paperwork for refund. This was sent via ApplePay. The last email I have said they will be delivering puppies on Monday and no other money would be requested. I still don’t have puppies and have sent a ton of money to them. I then discovered that this company was a scam. I didn’t have the time to do research during these days because I was busy trying to comply and get the tiny puppies home to me. These sick people played on my heartstrings and vulnerability.

This person was very believable. Initially found a Facebook post and then asked for my number. We have text back and forth many questions and answers about the dog, it came down to asking a deposit and I told her I would only pay in person. She urged me again, saying there are other people wanting to take her. I offered to meet as soon as possible but she brushed it off, asking for a deposit. She comes across as very genuine, be aware!

I found a website that was selling blue iguanas, which my son was interested in for his birthday. I proceeded to check out and was notified different options of how to pay. I’ll decided to Zelle the payment and then got confirmation of shipment. After it was shipped I was then asked for $125 for insurance. A couple of days later I was asked for another $210 for something else which is when I realized it was a scam

Contacted seller about Frenchie bulldog puppy. Had the same picture on 2 different reviews with two different names. Refused to send live video or talk about parents. Other puppies had different backgrounds. Called me stupid for asking questions. STILL have same pictures and same birth of 10, 11 weeks ago. I contacted around 12/30/2023.

Made inquiry on website. They contacted me about the dog. We discussed payment as the cost was 700 for the dog and free shipping. I sent total of 700.00 via paypal friends and family at their request. I got sent tracking information to express air pets. From her and the website expressairpets.com/track/. They sent an email requesting 2000.00 for asoecialed crate for travel which would then be reimbursed when the dog was handed over. She requested 2000.00 in gift cards as payment. I bought them and sent her pics of them. Then i got an update on the website that the dog was en route. This am i got another request with this shipping company to pay 4000.00 for document transfer of pet ownership. We discussed that i do not have this money. I asked why none of these fees had been discussed. She said it wasnt her responsibility.

I tried calling the number listed as their contact. It was google assistant. I asked for my money back. Her response was lol. Now im out 2700.00 for wanting a dog.

I attempted to purchase two hypo allergenic Siberian kittens off the facebook page called Kittens Ranch. I put the deposit down of $300. on 11/29 to

[email protected]. This transaction was rejected, and the next day they gave me this info to make the payment. [email protected] name is Dallas Falls. I sent the $200. Then Fernandez with a Caribbean accent from Kittens Ranch, phone number 516-744-0413 told me he wasgoing to deliver the kittens last weekend. I refused to put any more money out. He then offered to bring the kittens himself, and he would rent the crate. He said he needed the final payment of $300. to make the delivery.
