Purchased a dog from a breeder who was also fake and worked with the flightnannypetcompany for shipping. They setup a confirmation page to show it was legitimate to ask for the money to ship the dog. Nothing was received.

My husband thought he purchased a miniture highland cow from a fake business named Miniture Highland Cattle Farm. The $1,600 was supposed to cover all costs, includong shipping. The representative he spoke with said his name was Prince Will, cell number 406-717-2415, email [email protected]. My husband sent him $1,600 through Zelle. Then someone from Black Ball Transport, website blackballtransport.com, said we had to send them another $2,500 to ship the cow to us. They would not send us pictures of the cow.

Told me that the airline required a thermal electronic crate after I was told by the cattery owner the total cost of delivery to my door from Oklahoma to Arkansas was 500 for the kitten and 250 for delivery. Then the supposed courier service emailed saying everything was good to go but the airline required a thermal Electronic crate that costed between $850 and $1300 depnding on which one I wanted. Once the cat was delivered and the crate reurned I would be reimbersed the cost minus $30 for the rental. Payment was supposed to be through Zelle. Once I told him I would not pay it I didn't hear another word from him or the supposed cattery owner whose $750 was made through Google Pay.

They were supposed to be transporting kittens to me in IN from a person in PA. And said that they couldn't transport them until I paid $1000 for pet insurance by Zelle. That supposedly would be refunded upon delivery.

We wanted to purchase a bird online. This guy says wife passed away and had to get rid of her birds so we attempted to get the bird from the gentleman and he gave us all details. The whole 9 yards and then found out nothing was legit In the meantime, he took 300.

I tried a purchase a kitten through Facebook. I paid money for the kitten. When it didn't arrive on Saturday, I followed up with them. They kept asking for more money instead of getting me the kitten. They sent pictures of the kitten. Some of the pictures later on didn't match the kitten I thought I was buying.

I was looking for Scottish fold kittens online and i saw a website that was sponsored by google which gave me peace of mind. We contacted them after finding a kitten we liked, they said her name was Gilia and she was 800 and that they do next day shipping to Arizona for an extra 200, we were skeptical so we asked how we know if they’re legit they said we sign a contract for extra peace of mind so we sent them $1000 then their “shipping” company sent an email saying that we needed to pay for pet insurance to proceed with delivery and that was $1495 but it was refundable upon delivery then the next day we got another email saying that the crate provided by the seller wasn’t safe and that because of new regulations we need to rent the kitten another up to standard crate which was $1190 which was supposed to be refundable as well. They told us she’ll be here Saturday and it’s Monday. But no one has told us any updates nor will the seller respond to any messages or calls. I would honestly just like my money back. I didn’t think to look more into the images and information provided on the website because google recommended them as trustworthy and even sponsors them but looking more into the website now it looks sketchy and I feel dumb for falling for it but google sponsoring it really made me blind. We sent money through zelle we sent $1000 to [email protected] and $2685 to [email protected]

1190 dollars plus paypal charges for beautiful miniature goat that never came. 49O paid via paypal for goat herself ; 10O for “foods and vitamins to get started and toys”; After declined proposed “required by vet “additional cost of 1400 for special capacious crate, accepted then offered 600 deposit via paypal (with promised refund upon delivery) for imaginary special-vet- required-for-transport (after supposed exam of goat) heated crate with vet approved design and ventilation. However the beautiful little goat in photos was never came. The seller did not answer calls via voice even once (never heard their voice tho paypal recipient was Carolina Gomez.) and they texted replies hours later if deigning to respond at all , with many hours delayed response & “sorry ma’am my phone was broke” or “sorry I was busy” and consistently failing to answer phone calls even the multiple times my call back was immediately after her text reply. A separate text from her number offered the goat for 2500 and stated that my (affirmed) paypal payments were never received. The imaginary delivery people keep emailing (but not responding to phone calls) saying why delivery was repeatedly delayed over two days.

Thank you for the post I was just talking with then via email. It seemed to easy and cheap that I started to google their email address hoping to find something on them since I couldn’t find anything with their name alone. But when they said $240 to ship 2 goats across country via plan then ground ship yeah right . Also $500 for a pair that have had micro chips debud all sorts of good things I’m thinking where are they making money . Yeah goats are cheap but basic vet care they really are over stretching I have knowledge of cost and if this was true they would be losing money raising goat kids

Bought 2 kittens from Siberian breeder online. $500 per kitten plus $250 for transportation. Paid with Zelle and Venmo. Breeder took kittens to Coming2UPet Couriers service, 8545 AirportPlaza,OK City for transportation to CT and next chapter of scams occurred. They wanted $1,300 deposit by Zelle but action was cancelled cause money wouldn't clear til Monday..Cats would sit in airport til they got the money. Money was for Thermal pet carrier for flights. Said money $ 1,250 would be refunded when carrier was returned. They drew up fake refund papers to be sent with carriers. Wanted payment. They wanted Apple Gift cards for payment. They got the cards and money. Cats were supposedly sent to Dallas Fort Worth Airport and waiting to go to Chicago then to CT first thing in am and arrive in CT at 11:37 by American Airlines. Sent tracking info & flight # on believable web sight. Thurs morning they wanted another $2,000 for pet insurance that "the US government required!! We yelled scam and called the FBI Senior Fraud division to file complaint. The transport people Coming2upetcourierservice told us we would be responsible for abandonment!! We feel that the Breeders and the transport Service were working together to scam us and there were never any Siberian Kittens anywhere! Contacted Facebook group "Golden Doodles up for adoption" on 2/16 messaged the admin about a dog that was up for adoption. They explained that she was still available and that the family had to give her up because of their health issues. The price explained to me up front was a $600 adoption fee with a $310 shipping fee. The dog was coming from El Paso, Texas to Phoenix, Az and they were aware they were shipping the dog. I then agreed to the total price of $910 and gave all info like email, etc to get information. They asked for to pay with cash app and I was unable to use cash app, so I paid with Zelle. They said great, we will get with you on Monday 2/19 and you should receive email then from the shipping place. I never received anything and the admin proceeded to be the middle person and letting me know what they were saying. 1st thing was they were wanting a $1000 insurance fee for shipping the dog on the airplane. I was skeptical, but was told I would get this money back once the dog arrived to me. I then paid the $1000 through Zelle to a different person. Next they said they needed $950 fee for a crate and that I would be refunded for that also upon arrival of the dog. I sent through Zelle also to the same person I paid the original $910. Next thing was I had to pay a fee of $920 because the dog did not have a resident permit. I told them I could not afford anymore money and the admin kept saying I will pay some if you can pay at least $550. Sent the $550 to a different Zelle account at this time. Then they came up with an excuse to say they couldn't use their Zelle to pay whoever because of limit reasons and wanted me to send at least $500 to a different account. I told them I had no funds left and they proceeded to ask me to get a money card from Walmart to cover it. I finally got the $500 and had to send thru apple pay to a random #. After thinking I had paid everything I thought she would be here on 2/20. She still never arrives and then next thing was I needed to cover expenses to a nanny that took care of her for 1 day because of the delay. They were asking $700 for the nanny and $50 for gas for the admin "driving" to this so called shipping place to get things straightened out. Paid the $750 through Apple Pay to original place I sent the first payment to. Then they said oh you need to pay another $500 for another crate fee since its a different day. I sadly paid the $500 through Apple Pay to the same account as of original. Thinking at this point she will get to me after so much money and emotional turmoil I had been through. 2/20 The admin of the group said I would have her by 2/21 that evening. The next thing on 2/21 they said the dog needed a microchip before traveling and it was going to cost me $850. I refused to pay the fee because of all of the other money they had taken from me. The admin said pretty much you will not get your dog unless you pay this fee saying they would pay $300 of it to "help" out with it. I still refused to pay and they just kept promising that, that was the last fee to be paid and that I would get all of this back only when I receive the dog. They kept begging for me to pay more money and then the next thing was on 2/26 the dog somehow got hurt and they wanted me to pay $500 for the expenses of that as well. I have yet to send anymore money than the $5,160 sent already and still have not received a dog.

they have kittens for sale on thier website , but theres no real information about the cats , and i also found mutliple photos of the same cat, and when i asked for more photos, it wasent even the same cat. they dont answer their phones , dont have a real google listing and claims to have lived in a apartment but owns the whole thing.

I bought two kittens from https://siberiandreamcattery.com and they contracted https://coming2upetcourierservice.com/ to safely deliver them from Oklahoma to California. Having never bought a cat this way, I didn’t know what to expect. When the courier said the kittens needed a temperature controlled crate, that sounded reasonable to me, so I paid a refundable rental fee of $1300 dollars. Everything was good to go, the kittens flew out of Oklahoma to Seattle, Washington. I have a tracking number, everything looks legit. The kittens arrive in Seattle and the courier company contacts me again, and say, the kittens need additional insurance to the tune of $2000. Now the red flags are flashing. I call, we argue, they guarantee everything is refundable upon delivery of the kittens. I believe my kittens are sitting in an airport, the courier service is playing on my heart strings, against my better judgment, I pay the money. Then the courier service contacts me and says the kittens are stuck in a mini quarantine due to another animal getting sick, they will have to stay in Washington overnight. At this point, I’m fairly certain I’m being scammed, but I’m holding out hope because I want my kittens. However, the next morning they email again to say the kittens are out of quarantine and ready to fly, but need an additional $1000 in insurance. Now I know, I’m being scammed. To verify I called Seattle Tacoma international airport and asked about the quarantine; they said that never happened. Now I’m convinced. The cats never existed and the whole thing is some elaborate scam. On paper, it looks very real, nothing looked faked. I’m very upset and sad about my kittens.

We were told male pups were 900 and the deposit was 300 and we could make the rest of the payment in monthly installments. A location was agreed on to get the pup. Deposit was to be sent via chime as we did. On the way to the location he said we needed to send 200 in order to file the abkc paperwork. We sent it and he told us he was heading to the location with the pup. We arrive to the location about 4:30 waiting for two hours. In the midst of that he asked for 349 and we made it clear we were not going to give anymore money until he arrived, he never showed. We told me to refund our money, we no longer wanted the pup. He told us it would take a week. The next day he messaged us apologizing and asking drive to us to bring the pup. We gave a location to meet at and made it clear we wasn’t giving any money until he arrived. He said ok and told us he was going to leave right then to head to the location. 2 hours later we asked his eta. He said he was stranded and asked to send him some gas money. We said 25 he said he was driving a hellcat and needed at least 100. Before we ever sent it we asked for footage of the pups and a video of himself to see if it was the guy from the Facebook page. He sent us both videos. After that he said he would be to us in no time and he never showed.

02/24/2024 - I was looking online for an Italian Greyhound puppy to purchase to help cope with my anxiety. After a google search, I located a puppy (Lisa) that I was interested in buying on Thunder Italian Greyhound (Link: https://thunderitaliangreyhound.com/). I filled out the Contact Us Form on the website to inquire more about the puppy and the costs.

I received a text message from 915-266-2089 from the seller with general information about the puppy. I requested an estimate of the shipping/airplane cost. The seller informed me that the puppy was $600 and the shipping delivery to my doorstep was $200 making a total of $800. The seller sent me pictures of the puppy. I let the seller know that I was interested in moving forward with the process to buy. The seller sent questions to vet me as the buyer. I answered the questions and sent the seller my contact information. The seller said that they accept payment via Zelle, CashApp or Apple Pay. I let the seller know that I preferred Zelle and the seller sent me their Zelle contact and requested a screenshot of payment confirmation. I paid via Zelle and sent the seller the confirmation screenshot. The seller informed me that they will send me the details the next day including a tracking number.

02/25/2024 – I received a text from the seller that I would receive a bill of sales contract. I received the email, and signed and returned the contract to the seller. The seller informed me that the puppy was handed over to the shipping agency and to make sure to work with the shipping agency who would be reaching out to me. I received an email from the shipping agency, Ocean Freight Carriers [email protected] (Website: https://oceanfreightcarriers.com/), informing me that I had to pay an additional $1490 for life insurance for the puppy that would be fully refunded to me once the puppy was received. I was not aware of the additional charge and began to research more information about the shipping agency. I found the following 2 links about the shipping agency and the seller’s website exhibiting fraud:

I texted the seller to let him know that I was not aware of the additional $1490 upfront cost. I called Brian at 3:09pm EST and the number said that the TextNow number was not available. I called the shipping agency 304-584-6502 at 3:13pm EST and a woman answered the phone and said “Hello”. I started to explain who I was and that I as calling about the puppy that I purchased online, and she hung up. I called back at 3:14 pm EST and the recording said that the TextNow number was not available. Brian called me from 915-266-2089 at 3:26pm EST and told me that he spoke with the shipping agency. He said that the shipping agency had a new policy requiring insurance to ship the puppy. I told him that I would like to request a refund. He said that he spent the money for hospital bills and shipping and only had $500 left that he could put towards the insurance cost, and I would pay the remaining amount and reimburse him once I receive the reimbursement for the insurance when the puppy is received. I let him know that this was unprofessional, and I was no longer interested in buying the puppy and requested a full refund and cancellation letter.

After speaking to Brian, I did more research and found that the metadata on the photos that he sent me of the puppy showed that the images were created in October of 2021. The puppy was supposed to be 11 weeks old.

Scammer offered a puppy, once deposit was paid and we refused to sign the contract without vet history they suddenly stopped responding until we found out another person was scammed. They claim to be AKC registered and are not. The previous story was exactly what had happened to us.

My mom was looking for a boxer puppy to buy and found this "reputable breeder". After verifying which puppy she wanted to buy Rebecca Machado asked for a deposit of $450. My mom unfortunately paid it. THEN the next day Rebecca Machado asked for my mom to sign a "dog bill of sale" and to pay another deposit of $200. My mom began to feel uncomfortable with these transactions and asked questions. After looking at the facebook page further we realized there were lots of typos and strange wording in the descriptions, the reviews seemed fake, and some of the same puppy pictures were being used. We even messaged someone who supposedly bought a puppy and they claimed Rebecca was reputable but we think we were talking to the same scammer who was trying to sell us a puppy. My mom called her out on this and asked for her money back and the scammer replied with a middle finger and blocked my mom. My mom never got the money back. DO NOT BUY FROM REBECCA MACHADO.

I found them on Google.  They told me they would sell me a blue heeler puppy for $700 and that they would fly him out to me for an additional $300.  I asked them if I could pay over the phone and just give them my credit card numbers.  They said they couldn't do that and asked me to pay using PayPal or Zelle.  I told them I couldn't do that.  They told me to purchase two pre-paid American Express cards and send them pictures of the front and nack of each card.

The scammer has a Facebook page as a dog breeder named Jesie’s Doodles. She sent lots of information, photos, and videos of the dog that I was buying. She originally stated they were located in Columbia, NC then it was Columbia, SC. She also stated that they had shipped dogs previously to Ohio and Maryland. She stated that I only had to pay for the courier fee to get the dog here from SC and I didn’t need to pay the rest until I received the dog. The arrival times kept changing according to her. I finally got the “tracking email” through Pawsitive Porters which provided a link and tracking number with my name, phone number, email, and home address where the dog was supposed to be delivered. She also tried to get me to send the payment early before arrival by saying her daughter had cardiac issues the night before. The tracking number then showed the dog leaving from two different places in NC to GA and then KY. Once in KY it was placed on hold and I received another email about needing certain permits for the dog to complete the arrival which was something that was never discussed. Several hundred more dollars were being asked and the tracker stopped updating. She also stopped responding and attempted to contact my mother to tell her about the permits needing to be paid. The dog was never delivered and there were no more updates. The pictures I was sent and the picture sent to my mother stating the dog was with the “courier nanny” was clearly not the same aged dog. The grammar was also off on the messages and the emails/document sent regarding the transit and the hold in KY. I have kept screenshots of some of these messages and tracking information. In the shipping label she used the name “Jessie White” but the email begins with “Jessy” and the Facebook page is “Jesie”. The Zelle account that they had the courier fee paid to was “New Optimum LLC” and the corresponding email was “[email protected]”

Attempted purchase of puppy found her in Facebook group. She had several reviews listed on page from what appeared to be other people. I asked the admin of the group if she was legit and shes said that shes been a breeder for ten years. I communicated with her multiple times via Facebook and then her FB was "hacked" and no longer accessible, I reached out to the admin of the group and she said she would contact her and she asked if I had whats up to communicate I said no have her text me. she texted me and we comunicated that way. I had to pay a 500$ deposit for puppy and it would arrive by courier two days later. I again confirmed with admin of group are you sure, she said yes you will get your puppy. Two days later she sent me the company she was using for transport and they were new line movers - also scam see other post for them. She continued to say pay for what they are asking its refundable and you will get your puppy, I said I will not pay additional and she said she would pay half and I pay rest and I said no, and she said the puppy will be abondoned if I dont pay and I refused to pay.

Posed as a registered dog breeder. I contacted the owner through the website, inquiring about a puppy listed as available. Initially they were quick to respond via text message and email. They readily accepted me as buyer and proceeded with sending a ‘transfer of ownership’ contract to be signed and requesting down payment. They also asked for screenshots proving payment. I complied. The following morning I received a text message asking if I had received their email. The email said that they needed the remaining money due because one of the other females died after delivering 8 pups and they needed the money to care for the new puppies. Previously they had told me the other dog wasn’t due for another 5 weeks. Again they asked for a screenshot proving payment. Afterwards the emails became very short. I tried calling and they wouldn’t answer, instead texting me with excuses. I text them asking for more pictures and videos of the puppy. More excuses. I requested an updated contract showing payment in full and name change. No response. I did Google image search on the puppy pictures previously received and found multiple sites using the same pictures. I then realized I had fallen for a scam. I searched the address given for the pickup and it showed a house in the middle of the city, when they said on their website that they had 3 acres. I couldn’t find the owner online anywhere.
