It was a FB post by a “neighbor” named **** ******. I noticed he had only been an HOA member about a month, and had no other info on his FB page. I had given my address and phone number to my “neighbor” and then got to checking and saw this post about this scam happening all over! I am so mad at myself for having shared my name and address!!!

The scammer sends a letter to newly formed businesses that is styled to imitate an official government document. The letter states that federal law requires businesses to "post a current compliant labor law poster in the workplace." Of course you can buy this poster from them by sending a check or money order for $92.58 in their return envelope within 2 weeks.

Caller was a heavily accented male named "Jack" with " Senior services". He stated that I had additional benefits available to me from my " Primary Care provider".Could not tell me who my PRIMARY was and continued to tell me that services were available at no cost and a simple " mouth swab" kit would be mailed to me. At this stage I attempted to ask additional questions which he avoided. I hung up!

I would see the charge look up thr name took me to costomer service and they would ask for my infomation regarding to the account that was charged and they would look it up request an refund then say it will be in a prossesing time with in the bisness days but keep in mine i been charged 3 times at diffrent times for 12.99 with over draft being on amd my work check goes in my worked money had to pay for overdraft of 12.99. Amd the website page is down but i only have their phone number and where at there beisness no email.

I tried to call the Social Security people and the phone number is really close to theirs. I missed dialed and got this other number. They asked for my email address and I gave it to them. But I think it was a recording the whole time luckily, I figured it out and hung up, but, I looked up that phone number online. It turns out they are scamming a lot of people.

Beneficial Ownership Information Reporting Form.

Very misleading flyer. Looks very government like.

They wanted a photo copy of our licenses or passports along with our social security numbers.

I called the number provided and asked them directly if they were a third part agency and if I needed to apply with them. They said no. I can do it on my own.

Caller said there is a lawsuit filed on the address where I reside. When I called to find out what this was all about, I was told capital one has filed a lawsuit against me for $9000. They confirmed my address and said they were sending paperwork for court. I called capital one and they do not file lawsuits like that and confirmed they do not have any lawsuits on me. The person I spoke to was Michael wells. I do have the initial phone message but didn’t know how to attach it.
