I was contacted by a representative saying they were from Xpress Loans. They already had my phone number, email and saw where I had inquired with another company about getting a personal loan. They directed me to a website, explained their process and had two (2) other individuals "manager" and "loan approver" contact me to verify me and then I was transferred to the loan officer to verify my information and they also said they could see my credit score and needed additional information to approve me for the loan. Once the process was complete, they emailed me a loan approval document with the T&C for the loan and then I never heard back from them by phone or the email addresses they used to confirm the loan process. I've called all the numbers I spoke with them on and emailed the addresses that reached out to me during the process and no response. Their website phone always is busy, and it goes to voicemail for the other numbers.

Was called by a 2nd party that Kirkland & associates was trying to serve me court papers for a bill back in November 2023. Contacted them said no I’m not giving my personal info via phone. Told them contacting an attorney. Not another word after saying they were coming to my house to serve me. Today June 20 2024 I get a 2nd party phone call again left it to voicemail. They then call my daughter giving her info and said they tried to serve me back in February. Not true . Was home the whole month with an no one tried to serve me anything. How do I shut this nonsense scam trying to get money from me down?

Who ever this is has called a number of times asking for my dad...who has died over 10 years ago...when they called today..Monday June 10 2024..they said if they dont talk to my dad they were goimg to foreclose on my dads house..all payments on his house are up to date..I immediately hung up..who ever this person is barely speaks English...I am hoping you can catch who ever this before they convince the next person they will foreclose on their house..

I received a letter in the mail that said I was being requested to call regarding the warranty on my recently purchased car. They asked me to provide my VIN and mileage and then placed me on hold. Upon returning to the call they explained that to extend this coverage that it would cost me hundreds of dollars and that there was a no fee option where I would only be required to pay 5% of the total cost coming out to $275. They then attempted to gain my debit or credit card information in an assumptive sales tactic. After declining the person on the call quickly hung up.

I believe it was a phishing scheme. While searching for internet service I found this website Broadbandnow.com. I called the listed number (866) 674-1139. I thought I was speaking with Optimum. She asked for my address. Put me on hold then returned to the call saying they couldn't locate my address and so we chatted some more. All the while I heard people in the background, like a call center. Suddenly the background noise disappeared, and she said I have you on a private line - give me your birthdate. I dropped my guard and gave it to her, then the background noise returned and she repeated my birthdate out loud. I found that to be counterintuitive. She placed me on hold and when she returned she proceeded with the same script - she was placing me on a private line and needed my Social Security number. I told her I was calling the police and hung up on her.

They claimed child signed up for SAT prep materials at school with either the english teacher or guidance counselor to receive prep materials and a deposit for 2 cd's they are sending when I said child is 98% and doesn't require a study guide they said they will cx it and hung up.

I've gotten 2 calls, 1 yesterday, 1 today. Both messages were nearly the same: I am location specialist Mike Mason calling you for a final time in reference to a pending claim. I have contacted you trying to get your name off the filing that is soon to be public record. I will be over to your home and job within the hour to get your signature to help move the filing along. You have the legal right to contact the filing party before I arrive. Their number is 833-883-2920. If I don't hear from the filing party right away I will be seeing YOU.

I am location specialist Mike Mason calling you in reference to a pending claim. I have contacted you trying to get your name off the filing that is soon to be public record. I will be over to both your home and job tomorrow. If I cannot locate you a direct refusal to comply will be set on your behalf. Every attempt to contact you has been documented. The number you must call prior to being located is 833-883-2920. See you soon.

They called to discuss a matter that has been sent to their office for consideration of legal action including illegal filing and civil complaint to discuss the spinning actions that may be filed against my husband. They directed for him to call 877-572-0562. If he does not respond, they will be forced to proceed without his participation. Call is logged and recorded as proof efforts have been made to notify him.

Spoke to this person and confirmed my sons name, my name and address.

"Hi. Good morning. My name is Michael. Hang. I'm calling you from Keystone first. Uh, this is only a courtesy phone call and would like to leave a message for(used my first and last name). Just want to follow up on your request for medical assistant work support programme. Uh, if you have any question about the, uh, work support programme from Keystone First, please give me a call back at this number. 2159365868. My name is Michael. Hang from Keystone. First again, This message is for ******** ********. Thank you so much. Have a good day."

This scammer pops up when googling a government website looking to request a birth certificate or death certificate or marriage certificate and pretend to be a government website. They take your information and make it look legitimate then you never receive a record and they keep pretending they need more information

I posted a listing on Facebook marketplace to sell a used smart TV. Buyer showed immediate interest said he could come pick it up and asked for my address. I provided it. Then Buyer claimed that his brother was the one picking up the TV for him and he would like to pay me upfront using Venmo or Zelle. I said ok and sent him my Venmo username. He then sent a screenshot of a Venmo error message claiming that he needs my email. This is where I got suspicious and ceased communication. I believe if he got my email he would have continued the scam.

I keep receiving phone calls from this company from various phone numbers all over the country. They leave voice messages that I must contact their under writer's because they are attempting to complete my loan application. I have not applied for anything. I have been receiving 25-30 calls with messages EVERYDAY for the last two weeks

Scammer called my phone, claimed to be with “Commercial Acceptance Company” and read off the last 4 of my social, my email address, etc. I stated that these were all incorrect. I then asked, “what is this” and did not get a response. I said “please remove me from these lists” and to which he responded “you will never be removed, you will either verify this information or I will make a decision, and you will not like that decision.” To which I hung up.

Got a call from +1 (717) 748-9831 asking if I was my father and they said that he needed to call 877-618-0655 with an 8 digit case number they provided because “this phone number (my phone number since I was like 13) was given on a court document under his name” and “he needs to call within 30 minutes because there’s a legal issue”
