Professional Parking Management Reports & Reviews (93)

I received a parking charge notice with a picture of my daughter's car supposedly entering and then exiting a parking lot. Just as all of the previous complaints, the notice said the same thing. Luckily my daughter has the receipt showing she paid the 20.00 charge and for all long the fee covered. I find it ironic that the times on the receipt and the notice, are off. I contacted the city's section that handles parking citations (I live in San Antonio, Texas). They had no record of a citation being issued. After reading all of the complaints throughout the internet and on the BBB, I did not pay the 48.00 charge. I have since received another notice informing me now I owe 85. 00. I am still going to pay. I would like to know, what can be done about this scamming company?

Signage & parking tickets look just like a city parking lot.

Charged me $45 plus $3.99. Reason given because I did not pay in time. Paid $7.10 at 9:01pm, got a $45 ticket at 9:03 pm. Appeal was denied because I did not pay on time according to these scammers, even though, I paid 2 minutes before I got the ticket. Charging me more than 5 times I paid for 3 hours. There’s no email to contact them. You only have one chance to appeal. There’s no phone number to contact. This “ticket” was given in a residential building.

On 2/26/22 I received a parking charge notice from Professional Parking Management wanting a $48.15 reduced payment for non-payment of parking charge that occured in Miami Beach FL on 2/12/22. I live in TX and both of my vehicles are registered in TX. I have NEVER been to Miami Beach. I don’t own the vehicle pictured in the notice. Notice # is 046824169. Notice date is 2/17/22. From what I've been reading, this is a scam and that many others have received similar notices.

I received a letter from PPM with a charge notice of $85, reduced to $48.15 if paid in within 15 days. I had paid the parking via the qrcode scan and still got charged, now the city of Doral is also to blame for allowing unscrupulous company making money out of their citizens.

Received a notice with a parking fine of $85. They offer half off if paid within 15 days. Also threatens collection & legal action. It has photographs and closeups of a tag entering and leaving a location.
- Not my car
- Not my tag
- Never been to that address
- Address shown in photos does not match Google Maps photo

SCAM! But they have some real information like name and address. Worried about possible impact on identity or credit.

I received a letter from this great parking company Professional Parking Management for Parking in a Handicap Parking spot that I have been parking in for over 4 years as I am disabled. There so stupid they say I'm getting a discount then week later a bill for 85 dollars.
Now I work for the State so I contact our Attorney who contacts Pompano Beach who says throw it out. There a big joke and Help me Howard has done a piece in them. I'm sure if I got enough people we could have class action suit especially me being disabled. Anyway good luck everyone.

Happend to me! I also have a handicup permit and its always properly displayed on my front windsheld and i was going for like 55 minutes and law in Pompano say that its legal to park for 4 hours! This is crazy get a parking ticket with a handicup permit in a legal parking place, wow, are they so desperate for money?

Hi, so I receive a parking ticket notice from a company called “Professional parking management” for 85.00 dollars. The company does not appear to be an active company in Google. Their website and paper notice looks flimsy and the picture they took of my vehicle (if its even my vehicle) is terrible, you cant even see a vehicle in the image. They have over 66 reviews online stating their a scam. I would like to report this company as a scam. Please let me know if there is anything on my behalf you would need to get this further resolved.

Got a "ticket" from Professional Parking Management which was issued to me on 1/24/2022 through the mail. It says I committed some sort of parking violation in Miama, FL on 1/19/2022. I live in Louisiana. Not only have I not been in Florida in over 7 years, I haven't even been to Miami a single day in my life. I literally live almost 15 hours away from the city. License plate doesn't even match mine. On the back there's a part that gives you a link to dispute it...and it only brings you to a page to pay off your overpriced ticket. I've been looking into it and almost everywhere it's just people experiencing the same thing. How hasn't legal action not been taken on these guys yet? I don't know how they even got my information, but it seems like some sort of scam.

I received a notice today, that I owe $48.15, for parking at an address in Doral, Fl. I do not live in Doral, and haven’t been there on the date they said, I was. The tag picture they have is the same as my tag number, but my tag has oranges in the center and this one does not. There’s no number to call, no email to send message too. Only an address to send payment or a automated number to call paymenttoo. Please beware this is a scam.

Company sends out fake parking tickets. Have not traveled to Florida in years. This looks like a scam to get personal information as well as your credit card. Offers is half price off parking tickets or they turn you over to collection agency. Also tell you to dispute but to do so you must give personal information. There is a warning from the ft lauderdale district attorney. I filed with bbb

Interesting I also received one and I am in the same zip code I have not been to Florida in years. I checked out BBB there lots of complaints on this company. By chance was the tag number ending in 33? May be mass mailing?

All the stories above are similar to mine. According to this, I got a ticket in North Carolina in August, 2021, in a car that has not worked in years and that i am about to sell as scrap, and that has ALWAYS been in Texas. The license plates that barely appear on the ticket are old ones that have not been used in many years, because, the car was issued new ones years ago. It also says that I needed to pay $85 to $45 or possible litigation.

What do i do? This is si false!

I parked in delray with my 98-year-old mother using her car. I paid the 10 dollar fee. Then she got the same notice as above to pay the 45 now to avoid paying 85. I emailed the PPM with proof of the purchased parking. ticket. They did not accept it. I going to the Delay police to file a formal complaint. This is a SCAM

The parking lot is located right beside the Greyhound parking, I thought I was on the bus station parking lot, THERE"S NOT A CLEAR SIGN THERE! it is clearly design to confuse people that are picking up passengers and then charge $45 for nothing.
Professional Parking Management SCAM!!!! they signage is design to confuse users.

Parked in Ft. Lauderdale for one hour - paid for parking received an $85.00 expired parking time ticket. Do I have to pay seems fraudulent and Broward County issued an order outlawing private parking tickets.

They do this because the public are ignorant and also likely scared.

How to defeat this 101.

Firstly, they send a photo of the car, but then claim the person is liable. A person and a car are two different things. A person is a legal person, whereas a car is property. If they send a photo purporting to show a car on their parking lot, that does not establish personal liability. Yes, the car I own may have parked on their lot, but it does not mean I did. I could have lent my car to my wife. So, they fail to prove liability of the individual.

Secondly, they assert a "contract" displayed at entry to the parking lot. There may very well be such a sign, and parties can form an implied contract by accepting those terms. However, they do not provide a copy of said "contract".

Thirdly, they claim $85. No basis in fact or law is provided for that figure. They equally could demand a gazillion dollars, but such unilateral claims are baseless.

Fourthly, "Professional Parking Management" on its face is a parking management company. Let us say I indeed parked on a parking lot and did not pay. Fine, I may owe the owner money. However, nowhere does "Professional Parking Management" claim to have the authority to represent the owner. Indeed, the owner is not named anywhere. So, in principle, you could be a sheep and pay PPM $85, but that would not extinguish any debt you owe to the owner.

There are many more aspects to their business model that I could take apart. These people could of course act legally, but that would take too much time and effort so instead they scam the sheeple. Full disclosure, I am a criminal defense lawyer so have provided the above to help the working class hit back at these fraudsters.

Hello,
I'm in the same situation. I'm disabled and had my handicapped sign on my windshield. I've been parking at that location for years with no issue and on 1/29/22 got a "look like ticket" that I ignore. Now I received a Notice of Delinquent Payment for Parking Charge.
What to do? I don't want to have to park in the future in a parking they manage and get towed or have collection after me. I read that Miami Beach Commissioners modified a ordinance authorizing Private companies to exercice. (Sec 35 - 292) but I was not able to find it to review it. Please let me know if there is any class action against PPM

I received a parking violation in Delray by PPM for $45 saying "unauthorized parking" ! The spot I parked had a white parking curb without any text or wording - stating not to park. On their website were photos of my car along with a photo of the supposedly undercarriage of my car showing a parking curb that had text saying parking for a company 8a-5p. Who knows whose car it was because it was not mine. I paid $24 for two hours of parking and before I left I took pictures of the parking curb in the spot I was parked. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, posted photos showing the undercarriage of my car verses the one they posted. There were leaves on the ground where I parked and the leaves in the photo they posted the pattern of the leaves were totally different. They told me if I didn't pay they would boot and tow my car. This is like extortion!
