Took my 450.00 funds out of gift card, delivered do to expressstarship.com to deliver to S. Falls, the Express Star emailed me and wanted 1K gift card for insurance and would refund upon delivery of puppy. I refused to give them any more money, and Thomas for Resue Dogs said he would refund my monies, well now my texts will not even go thru to his number. So both the Rescue Dogs and Express Star-Smart Shipping are scammers.
This was for an 8 week old Maltipoo 350.00 for pup and 100.00 delivery.

We don’t have the exact address of the scammer, but they said that they were located in Chicago Illinois and they were supposed to be on their way driving down to deliver the puppy to our house so they now have her address and phone numbers. My mother paid them $850 through Apple Pay, Use multiple numbers And I believe their Facebook that they scam. My mom from was shut down, but they just made a new Facebook and back to trying to sell “ Australian Shepherd, pups” even though all they do is just take your money and you never receive your dog and you get blocked originally started off with the first excuse saying that their car broke down. My mom said well where are you at? I can come to you and then they all of a sudden said oh we’re up and going again and we’re supposed to be in town on march 27th at 2 pm they just kept coming up with excuses and they never showed up and ended up blocking my mom and now we are out of a dog and $850. We have multiple screenshots of proof of payment and proof of what we thought was us purchasing a dog and proof that they blocked us. Puppy scam: Claimed to breed Yorkie puppies and will ship to you. However, you had to pay them using Zelle, Chime Moneygram or WesternUnion. When I asked about PayPal they said it had to be Friends/Family option. All money options that are not protected for purchases.

I was requesting information about a doberman puppy. He seemed to be very concerned about the welfare of the doberman; he wanted to make sure the puppy wouldn't be left alone for extended periods of time, wanted to know if I had a large backyard for the dog, etc. When I started requesting information about the rabies vaccination, the deal went dead. He stopped responding to my emails.

I went to the website, filled out an application and was connected by text and email to proceed with the puppy adoption process. The scammer offer purebred kennel approved Maltipoo puppies for $1200, with a $700 refundable deposit should the customer change their mind. I was asked some questions in respect to the home breaking information to ensure I understand the responsibility of adopting and house training a new puppy. I was asked to VENMO the deposit or full price and asked twice in the same day for funds. What struck me as odd was told to write " between friends" in the message box. Before I paid the deposit I checked reviews on the website and saw scam reviews.

Scammer's phone(252) 691-9589 Scammer's website Teacuppuppiesready.com Scammer's addressNC, USA Scammer's email[email protected] Total money lost$800 Type of a scamOnline Purchase
I was recently the victim of an online scam. I immediately called PayPal and my credit union to file a complaint and to stoo payment. I also spoke to PayPal yesterday and they told me I should file a police report. Troy Cox, Chief of Security, from the college told me the same and he has been trying to help me. I also had to close my bank account at MCCU and reopen a new account. I have also filled out a report with the Federal Trade Commission. Yesterday the sellers sent me a text saying “ You started a PayPal case”…” Stop the case on this email.“…[email protected]”…” If you stop the case we will be able to proceed from here”
I bought a puppy online through teacuppuppiesready.com for $650 plus $150 for shipping. I paid in two payments through PayPal. The breeder is supposedly located in North Carolina. When the puppy “arrived” at the shipper” (August 2nd) in Ohio, the shipper sent an email at 1:22 a.m. saying the puppy had arrived in a “dilapidated crate” and was “choking on a rawhide chew,” and that I needed to pay for an “air conditioned crate” for $150 plus pay $750 for insurance on the puppy before they could get her to Michigan I forwarded that email to the breeder and copied myself, but the email went to the transport company, not to the breeder. The transport company is JK Pets Delivery Services, [email protected].
When I finally reached the “breeder” they said I had to pay the $150 plus the $700 or I would be charged with animal abandonment, among other things. I told them I had already paid for the puppy and the shipping in full and that they never told me about any additional fees and they would be the ones charged if anybody. They asked if they had ever told me they were giving me a crate and I said no but that they had told me the puppy’s health and wellbeing was their too priority, and that she had to be crated to be put on the plane in the first place. I never expected to keep a crate, just the puppy. They asked if I could pay for the crate if they covered the insurance and I told them yes but that I would give the shippers the $150 when I saw the puppy and that she was healthy and safe. They refused telling me that I had to pay online ahead of time. We continued to go back and forth until they started texting me telling me that I was a horrible person and the piir puppy was waiting at the shippers to be sent to me etc.
I have all the email communication between myself and the breeders, as well as the emails from JK Pets Delivery Services. The phone number they were texting me on and with which they made a brief phone call to me is +1 (252) 691-9580. This person’s name is john Robin V (aka John Montoya). Troy called them yesterday and spoke with them trying to get them to deliver the puppy at the college to the security team and promising my final payment (I had already sent the money through PayPal, but it had not gone through yet). The guy told them that’s not how it works and Troy told them that this is how it was going to work. I have had no communication from them since then, but I had already spoken to my bank the day before and paid to have them stop payment on both transactions I submitted through PayPal. I had also already contacted PaPal who blocked them there as well. Unfortunately after payment was denied tgey resubmitted the transaction using a new business ID, which went through because the new ID wasn’t flagged, according to MCCU. The credit union also told me these people also had my full account number, which is why I had the the bank freeze my account, after which I went there and closed the account and opened a new one. I also spoke with PayPal again yesterday evening and they said that neither payment went to these people because PayPal w[censored]ding it because of the claim I filed. They are holding the money from the scammers and from ne pending the outcome of the investigation, which is good. They also told me to file a police report which is what I’d like to do.
I also have another twist, my 84 year old father called me at work yesterday 3:43 pm because he was not feeling well. He has a heart condition and asked me to call an ambulance. The Saginaw Township Police also showed up to check on him until the EMTs arrived. I headed right up to Saginaw and am here now. He is ok for now but I beed to take him to two doctors appointments tomorrow.
In a nutshell, I made the payments on payPal as directed by the seller. I did not make the additional payments to the false shipping company. I filed a report with the Federal Trade Commission, The credit union, and PayPal right away and will contact the ScamPulse.com AND THE state Attorney General’s Office tomorrow. Whether I get my $800 dollars back or not, I will continue to file complaints wherever I need to to try and stop these people. I realize it’s highly unlikely they can be stopped but I can possibly disrupt their cashflow temporarily and potentially spare another person, or a few, from falling prey to the same scam.
I do know from Troy Cox that the sellers website was created and registered on July 20, 2023, and a complaint was filed on July 22 for a scam identical to what I went through. As a side note, I had to put my 18 year old to sleep on July 20th and have been grieving pretty hard, which is why I started looking for another pup in the first place I should have stayed local, I should have seen the red flags, they are their, and I am angry at myself for allowing this to happen. I should know better.
Thank you for any help you can give me. I apologize for any typos but but I have been running on zero to 2 hours sleep a night since I lost my dog. He was my constant companion.

I purchased a doberman from this guy " Verick Northrup" throught Ryan Doberman. I zelled him the money and he was supposed to ship me the puppy. I then got another call stating I had to purchase an AC crate for the flight for the puppy this was around $1500. This sounded weird to me so I starting researching the company that wanted me to purchase the create and it was a scam. The person that I purchased the puppy from stopped responding to me and zelle and my bank was unable to get my money refunded.

I purchased a puppy via facebook. I was scheduled to pick up said puppy on saturday may 27th. Seller contacted me that morning and she would have puppy shipped to me instead, at her expence. I agreed. after several emails with this company, fast ship pet carriers, they wanted $300 to cover delivery, used covid as an excuse. Was also told in this email that i would be refunded this money in cash, found odd, but again, I agreed. even though seller said she paid for delivery. I still wanted the puppy I orignally paid for. The email that i had to send money to via paypal was a personal email, from a janet allen. Which I also thought was weird to send money to a personal email not a business. After they received the funds via paypal, the company then send me an email saying its too late in the day to send someone out to deliver and will get back to me tomorrow. This was the last contact from this company evening of may 27th.
The sellers contact on facebook is Sarah Vanessa. She is admit on chihuahua puppies for rehoming near me and sarah's chihuahuas- pages. This woman and I had contact via facebook messenger. I have asked her to refund my money and make it right. I have not heard back from her in 24hrs.
I'd like to file a scam claim against the seller as well.

Inquired about a female sheltie puppy and were told that the price was $780 total which included shipping to Colorado. Seemed too good to be true (also the text messages phrasing was a bit off) so we asked for akc registration info on the parents. He refused to give info so we could verify the dog info was accurate - had some lame excuse about scammers using that info ect-
Told him I thought he was a scam and he quit talking to me. Glad we didn't buy from him.

the amount was $600.00 and they would not accept any payment except for vanilla or google gift cards, they were to deliver a pup to our residence and for 2 days they kept coming up with more charges and saying the pup would not be delivered untill we purchased the gift cards took pictures of front and back and the receipt. The charges were 1st the shipping fee, then insurance, then a covid test, then transfere of ownership. All of these charges would pop up 10 to 15 minutes before they should of been pulling in our driveway, and every time the man would call he said we were the ones delaying the delivery, we asked to speak to a manager and he stated he was the manager. He would never talk longer then a few minutes and had a very heavy accent that was hard to understand. If we asked to speak with someone else he would hang up. This company was hired by the woman we were purchasing the puppy from. She was in an accident and was in the hospital and informed us the pup would be delivered that day and that the company in question would be calling us for our address, and then the story begins as stated above, we lost our money, our deposit to the owner of the pup and recieved no pup. We feel very stupid and mad at ourselves for not pulling out sooner, but hard lesson learned and will never happen again. We want to make sure that this was reported and no one else is scammed by this company. thank you

The breeder responded that the male maltese Teddy was available and the cost was $600 plus $150 shipping. The Breeder sent detailed information on the puppy and their business.
Another inquiry was made the same day for the purchase of an additional male maltese named Jeff. The breeder responded that the male maltese Jeff was available for the same price $600 plus $150 shipping. The breeder requested that the payment for both puppies be sent via Zelle to: Shirley Dorfeuille [email protected] and to screen shot proof of the payment and email it to [email protected].
Once confirmation was sent, it was setup that both males would be shipped via United Airlines on 03/24/23.

On 03/24/23 the breeder sent an email stating the puppies were being shipped and provided a shipping order/tracking number and said shipping company Uni Express Logistics (540)300-4421 would contact me to finalize shipmentinformation.

An email was sent by the shipping company requesting $950.00 for insurance be sent via Zelle to: Yorel Farr [email protected].

Emailed breeder because this fee was never discussed and sending payment to a shipping company using a personal email and phone number began to sound suspicious.
Called the shipping company at (540) 300-4421 and no one answered. Reach out to breeder about this and if this was a scam and they ceased responding, but shipping company started sending text messages requesting information to finalize shipment until they were ask why request was coming from a personal email/phone. Also, shipping company's number came up as possible SPAM.
