I purchased a puppy on 12/24 for $700 and had a delivery fee of $200. The "breeder" said I could come to pick the puppy up at their address if I was close, and when I said I wasn't, they offered the shipping for the $200. I filled out the paperwork and sent them a payment of $900 over Zelle (Zelle was the only payment they accepted.) The payment was made to his "wife" Angelina Johnson. The breeder followed up with me on January 1st and asked if I wanted the puppy delivered Jan 2 or 3. I said the 3rd, and he let me know he would be writing up all the paperwork and would send me the tracking information, which he did (he also asked if I would like a 7:30 pm or 9 pm delivery slot.) This is the website where I found the puppy and got in touch with the breeder: https://riversidejackrussell.store/
On the 3rd, the breeder emailed me from the "agency" he was working with to ship the puppy. He sent me the tracking information for the puppy, which stated a 12:00 departure. Link to first tracking number and website to
Website: https://twgo.express/track-consignment/
He then emailed me and said the agency was not accepting the crate he always uses due to the weather, and they required an a/c crate. I could either purchase one of two crates or rent it (if I wasn't planning on traveling with the puppy any soon), and they would reimburse me all but $50 upon the puppy's delivery. The agency then sent me an email from email address: Travel Way Go" [email protected], with the two options, and said that they would not accept credit cards because it would be reimbursed, and it had to be a Zelle payment. I thought this was suspicious and told them I could only pay via credit card as I didn't have the funds. The breeder then texted asking me how much I could send via Zelle. I said I only had $700, and he agreed to cover the rest. I then sent the $700 payment over to Zelle to the agency. This is the payment to Daniel Hardaway above.
By the time we paid for the crate, we had missed the flight for the puppy, which was scheduled to go from Nebraska direct to Los Angeles. The breeder said there was another flight available at 12:30, and the puppy would be routed through Utah. I received a new tracking number for this
agency: Tracking Number: TWG087442066728
Website: https://twgo.express/track-consignment/Tracking Number : TWG087442066728
A few hours later I received an email from the agency stating that I needed to buy pet mortality insurance to deliver the puppy to Los Angeles. I reached out to the breeder, who said that he had already looked into CA and that it was not needed. He said he would reach out to the agency to clear up. A few minutes later, he called and let me know that the issue was that now the puppy was coming from Utah and it was needed. The charge was $999, of which all but $50 would be reimbursed. I said I did not have it and that it needed to be via credit card. He said the agency would not accept anything except Zelle, Venmo, or Cash App since this was a reimbursable transaction. I replied that you could reimburse credit cards, but he said it was not an option. I had him call me at this point, and I said this felt like a scam. we went back and forth, but in the end, I was concerned that the puppy would be stuck in Utah if not a scam. I paid $300 via Zelle to Daniel Hardaway again but had hit my Zelle limit, so my mother covered the other $699 from her Zelle account to Daniel Hardaway. A few hours later, I received another email from the "agency" stating that in Utah, they had identified the puppy needed a few vaccines and medication due to an illness discovered, and the charge again had to be via Zelle for $540 of which all buy $40 would be reimbursed because of the insurance. I emailed back, saying I would not send them another dollar via Zelle and would only pay through a credit card. I also requested a copy of the Vet's license, the business license of the agency, and a photo of the dog. The agency never responded. The breeder did follow up via text and email. He said he had ended up in the hospital due to the stress and that it was not a scam. I asked for a reimbursement. I have not had any other conversation since the afternoon of 1/4.
After I realized this was a scam, I investigated the sites fully. I realized that the agency's site states that their COO and president is Joanna Geraghty, who is actually the president of Jetblue (it even has a photo of her on the site and if you look behind her in the photo you can see a Jetblue model plane.) I tried to find her contact info but was unable to locate it. https://twgo.express/safety/
The breeder's site under the health guarantee page: https://riversidejackrussell.store/health-guarantee is a copy of another site (they left the original company's name in the test.) This is link to the page they copied https://www.royaljackrt.com/health-guarantee/ (if you Google the below text there is actually an additional site that uses the same text https://www.keystonepuppies.com/puppy-health-guarantee )

Hello,
My wife and I were looking for a Shiba Inu puppy. We looked online and we came across Katsu (Shiba Inu male) listed on Emikoshibainuhome.com We made contact on their website. Name number and email address. We immediately got a text from a woman named Nicole Gilley (402) 322-4994. She gave us information about the process. Said they breed the puppies at home and that they’re AKC vaccinated and socialized. Said she wasn’t able to give us information about the AKC for safety reasons. She gave us shipping information. She asked if we wanted to get the puppy shipped or if we wanted to pick it up at the home address. We decided to go with shipping. She gave us the Zelle information Nicole Gilley (351) 600-7177 for the transfer. We transferred the money and our bank called to ask if we’ve seen the puppy in person or in a video call. We hadn’t but the website looked so professional and detailed. Everything seemed right. Then I asked Nicole, through text for a video call and AKC information and said that it is not an option. Called the number and it rang a few times and then sounded busy. We got a call back from a Middle Eastern gentleman who didn’t let me speak. So I called my bank to try to cancel the transfer. I wanted to write this so if anyone looks up their website, can come across this. Or if they can possibly be flagged as a scam site. So someone else doesn’t make the same mistake as we did. We’ve now lost $700.

The website offers Pomeranian Puppies for $650 including shipping. When I contacted them, they immediately responded. They said it was $650 + $140 for delivery. When I pointed out that the website said shipping is included, the person responded that their wife had just added that for the new year, so the delivery was free. He wanted me to pay through Zelle, which offers no fraud protection. So he said he'd give me his son's Venmo (MDCunningham1) and told me to select that it was NOT for goods or services, only friends and family. He then told me my dog would be delivered via a dog nanny service and flight, the next day at 6-7 pm. The next day, I get an email from a company Pet Wave Transport, demanding that I pay for a Fully Refundable thermo pet carrier to protect the dog on the flight. They also texted me. I told them that delivery was included, but they insisted that this was an emergency and I had to pay. I contacted the seller, who told me it was fine, just to pay it and I'd get all my money back for the carrier once the dog was delivered. I told him to pay for it if the money was just going to be given back. He said he'd already paid for insurance, delivery, etc and could not do anything. I then asked for the Venmo information from the delivery company. They told me that I had to pay only as friends and family, not as goods and services. Venmo would not process the payment. So then they told me to pay via Zelle or CashApp, which I don't have. So they offered me a Paypal account to pay, again only as friends and family. When I checked off that the payee was in the United States, it refused payment. So I told them to forget about it. Then I wrote the ngpomeranian (the seller) and told them to refund my money. He is arguing with me and calling the dogs "pops". I truly find this to be a scam.

When searching for puppies for sale I came across a website via Google search that had german shepherd puppies at a discounted price. Upon contacting the "business" and providing my home address and phone number and name they responded with pictures of puppies and stated they will only take zelle, Apple Pay, or cash app. I inquired about paypal but they would only accept payment as family/friend. Basically only accepted payments that offered no buyer protection. Also the website has no business location and I cannot find any information other than their personal website. They claim they are a "Christian family" with 15 years experience but their website only dates 2022. Also within emails there are multiple oddly worded statements and bad grammar which leads me to believe it may be a fraud.

I was interested in a female chihuahua that supposedly was available. He wanted the payment in gift cards where I didn't want to do a cash app. I bought 2 gift cards the total was $911.90. He confirmed payment and supposedly was taking the puppy to the shipping company and said it would take 45 minutes until I heard from them. If I didn't hear from them to let him know. I received a text with shipping information.
Later that evening I received a message from supposed shipping company. Message said puppy was in Ohio and the crate was dilapidated and wanted $1,300 for a crate that was climate control and the puppy needed insurance. If I didn't pay for the insurance she would be deemed homeless and left at a shelter in Ohio.
I reached out to the breeder with that information, he seemed surprised and said that had never happened before. Wanted me to send the money, I replied I don't have that much. Breeder then asked me to send partial payment and he would send money from the fee I paid. We went back and forth about what to do, during that time my husband looked up information on said shipping company. No Information to be found, I tried contacting the breeder but he wouldn't respond to any communications after that. So he tried to collect $2,211.90 from me, unfortunately he received $900.00. He used the name G*** I******* (nash)
using this email for payment. g***********@gmail.com
These are the two phone numbers the breeder gave me to use

I was trying to purchase a puppy. I did some research, read testimonials, checked ScamPulse.com etc.. I contacted "the breeder: bu clicking inquiry under the puppy I wanted.
The next day I received a text message. Basically, had conversation about age, size, etc.. i asked for recent photos which were received.. I was asked to put down a deposit of $400, which is not unheard of.. I was instructed to use Zelle online. My bank does not participate with that method. I did make the error and did purchase a prepaid card, however I told them that i was not comfortable sending $400 and that I would only send $300. They agreed. The morning of the arranges pick up,, I received a text stating that there was a problem.. They stated that they need more money to purchase a good travel crate for the puppy so they could travel safely with. I refused and told them that as a breeder, that was their responsibility not mine. They texted back" If you want a healthy and good looking puppy complete your payment so I can get a crate now" . They wanted another $500. I responded "No. There will be no more money until I have the puppy. How you transport her to me at the designated location is your issue. I have held up the requirement of a deposit." , I also let them know that if transport was an issue, we would meet at the address of the "business: on the website. They agreed. We drove the 3 hours, arrived at the address on website. As we approached the house, there was a sign in the door,, which I have attached.. The whole website
address etc. Is fake. the website is fake. I sent one last text to the "scammer" letting them know that we knew now for sure that it was a scam. I did call the sheriff's office and a report has been filed. https://izangoldendoodle.com is where I found the puppy.

We were looking to buy a puppy and fell for the scam. We waited for a response when we submitted the application for the puppy, they texted us and asked us to answer a few questions. They approved our requested and requested the money through zelle, Apple Pay, cash app. That didn’t work we ended up doing 2 venmo transactions. Then the scammer said shipping was an option through a “trusted” third party. They offered to ship for an additional 250. Venmo transaction went through. They provide us with the flight details. Say our puppy will arrive to our address. Hours pass almost An entire day. We get a call saying the Carrier provided wasn’t approved to fly with the airlines. They ask for 1500 to ship or option B to ship an additional venmo transaction for 2000 was made…saying it’s fully refundable. We fall for that trap again. And we were ghosted afterwards. No messages nothing. Seems like 2 fake businesses working together. If at all helpful we have multiple phone numbers that can be tracked down.

Scammer was offering Sheltie puppies for what could be considered a bargain and was prepared to accept a Venmo or e-transfer to supposedly ship the puppy by air to the buyers location. Their photos were reverse searchable on Google showing old litters from other breeders, and their shipping rate did not change based on location. They refused any sort of video chat to verify the puppies were legit. They were also supposedly prepared to sell and ship a puppy based on 5 email questions, and all of their emails seemed to be copy-pasted with incorrect details.

Went online looking for a puppy to get our family for Christmas. My husband found a puppy available on this website and sent an email to get additional information. They responded to the email right away with additional pictures and videos of the puppy and the process. We responded back with all our questions. They responded a 2nd time with detailed answers to our questions. We live in NE and this company was in CA so we were hesitant about the process. I asked them to call us the next day so we could talk through the process. They called immediately and we discussed the puppy and the purchasing process. I asked for a few referrals to reach out to before we proceeded. I also asked how we are ensured delivery of the puppy if we pay up front. They said if we prefer we can pay half and when they send a tracking number that the puppy was in route, we could pay the other half. He was supposed to send us (via email) the reference to be able to call the next day. I followed our conversation up with another email stating that we had family who lived 30 mins from San Jose and requested their address to have our family come and meet the puppy and send us another video of him. We did not hear anything the next day, so I sent another email and a phone call/vm to the number that called us. There has been ZERO contact since requesting confirmation that they were a legitimate business when the initial contacts were VERY prompt and immediate.

I found this website online and i thought they were genuine because of how the website looked. I filled up the contact information part in their website and they contacted me through email the next morning. They gave me information on how the process is and everything. That evening we sent the supposedly breeder 800usd and then he said they don’t ship the puppy on weekends so he shipped the puppy on tuesday using a shipping agency called “Global Air Logistics” which is again a scam agency. They sent us a tracker but did not have any sort of flight number or flight name it just had the departure and arrival time that is the first suspicious thing. They sent a email after a hr saying we need to get puppy insurance which was $1000 we have them the money because agency usually ask for pet insurance to make sure nothing happens to them. They later contacted us again and said they need to get a puppy temperature control crate which was $850. It was starting to get really suspicious and we said no a few times but they later said they will send the puppy to animal rescue and that was really scary for us we didn’t want our puppy to go there. We sent them that money. The puppies flight got moved to 6:00 and was supposed to arrive at 12:45 am. We stayed awake and got no call from them we emailed them and they emailed back the next morning saying the puppy needs a pet city permit in New york which was $950. That is when we stopped because we knew at that point it is a scam no one will keep a puppy in the airport for 2 days.

They was posting on Facebook with yorkie puppies for sale. Albert Parks called me on Facebook messenger several times showing me pictures, videos, even a receipt and AKC form filled out to me. He said he needed $200 to secure the puppy and $100 for the insurance. They could deliver the puppy to me at my home or I could come to his home and get the puppy. He gave me his address and we set a date for me to pick the puppy up. I drove 4 hours to this address he gave me. I was to be there at 12:00 noon. I arrived and called him to let him know I was there. He told me he stepped out for 20 minutes and would be right back. He called back and ask for $100.00 more to take the puppy to the vet to get a covid shot and that is when it started going bad. I started asking the neighbors if he lived at that home and if they sold yorkie puppies. No one knew his name and no one had seen yorkies at that home. He got foul mouthed with me because I would not send him another $100 and that I did not trust him any longer. I kept telling him. I was not giving him any more money until he was standing in front of me with a puppy in his hand. He then told me that since I did not trust him any longer that he could not help me. I requested my money back and he hung up on me and blocked me on all avenues to reach him.

I inquired about a puppy because it was discounted because they have a new litter coming in. It was $930 for everything including shipping to our door. They replied and sounded really legit. They sent questions for me to answer. I answered and sent back. They sent me ways to pay which was only zelle or Apple Pay. The zelle wouldn’t go through for some reason(Thank God!) and Apple Pay kept saying it was an invalid recipient. So it was getting a little weird. So I asked if I could FaceTime with the puppy before sending the payment and they did not like that at all. I told them I would try again tomorrow and they sent me another Apple Pay ID to try. Which I will not be trying again beings I know it’s a scam now. But I hope this helps someone else from actually going through with it.

I requested information on a GSD puppy for sale from breeder. I immediately received a text giving me information on the puppy and instructions on payment and delivery. Payment was requested as apple pay or CashApp. I received a receipt for the $600 I paid as well as free shipping. I received another text with delivery date and time for the puppy. The transport company sent a confirmation email with tracking info. On the day of delivery, I received an email and text from transport company requesting $1000 refundable deposit for a thermal shipping crate. They requested payment via CashApp and stated puppy was being held in St Louis, MO and could not ship without crate. I contacted breeder as shipping was stated as free. She informed me that it was legit and I would receive refund on crate. The puppy missed the flight and was scheduled to arrive in late evening. When the puppy was due to arrive, the transport company sent another email stating the puppy was being held in St Louis until an additional $1500 was sent for travel insurance. I contacted the company and stated no further money would be sent and demanded refund for crate rental. I also contacted breeder and demanded refund for scam they were pulling. The breeder then offered to pay half of the insurance and said I would have to pay other half. The website for the breeder disappeared for me after that. We tried to buy a puppy and got scammed. We paid $930 for the puppy then $900 for a crate that they were going to refund us when we returned the crate. Then they tried to get another $1200 for insurance. That's when we realized we were being scammed. When we told them we weren't paying that, they cut off communication.

We clicked on an AD that came up on our Google search for Malitpoo's. The site looked professional. Once we contacted them they were prompt, professional, and asked the right questions and even interviewed us to see if we were a good home to sell a puppy to. They mentioned that they are in Newfoundland and preferred if we met them, so it appeared even more legitimate. They probably gambled that we would not make a trip cross country to pick up the puppy and mentioned that they deal with a pet shipping company that for $150 can ship to an airport or for $200 ship to your home. They asked us to e-transfer the cash. We did so but luckily our bank flagged the transaction and no funds were transferred. We contacted the seller and asked to speak to them instead of email. She said that she had reached her monthly limit and to email transfer her sister instead. She also said she was driving and to call a her husbands cell. He never answered and we wrote back that they appear suspicious. They wrote an email to try to convince us and they sent a Contract of sale to look credible. At this point we cut contact. They did text back with "hi" to see if that conversation would go anywhere.
Do not fall for this. We were lucky our bank stopped payment. The website says they have Google, Google+, Facebook, & Yelp reviews which do not exist. The phone number, 709-704-6875, if searched on the internet shows that they are selling dogs in the Toronto area as well.

I'm looking to buy a puppy for Christmas. Find this website and start email with them. After everything done and I send deposit via Zelle, not the whole amount wanted, I was wonder way puppy's description haven't been changed to "Reserved or as they used booked). I ask in an email and answer was the web site manager didn't worked last days. Start to thinking I was scammed. Searching in the websites found, they do the same business 2 years before with the similar name on the website but same address and yes, I was scammed. So I contact to my bank and hope to get my money back...

I attempted to purchase a puppy online and the shipping company requested and had me make numerous payments for insurance, crates, feedings, and paperwork. The payment showed pending, contacted my bank and they informed me this was all a scam

252-706-7669 & 210 750 3379
Please help me with getting my money back.

Do not fall for this. We were lucky our bank stopped payment. The website says they have Google, Google+, Facebook, & Yelp reviews which do not exist. The phone number, 709-704-6875, if searched on the internet shows that they are selling dogs in the Toronto area as well.
