I was and still am looking for a Labrador Retriever puppy. Facebook has multiple groups advertising Lab puppies. I contacted the group, Labrador Retriever Puppies For Adoption. I received a message, via Messenger, from someone by the name of Monica Pearson. I was asked multiple questions by Monica regarding puppies and my past pets. Made an appointment to choose and purchase a pup. Monica requested a down payment through Zelle or Paypal. I told her online payment wasn't a good idea and I was given a gift card option. I purchased a gift card, added $300 to it and took a photo of the card. I questioned Monica whether or not this was some type of scam and she sent multiple testimonials through Messenger. Photo was sent to Monica and I received the address where to pick up the pup. The address was real, but there was no Monica, The address was 1433 Abers Creek Rd. Pittsburgh, PA 15239.

I have all the Messenger correspondence still on my phone. If I was dumb enough to fall for this scam I do not deserve my $300 back. However, I see this scam is still taking place on META and I would like to prevent anyone else from getting screwed. The name on this group now appears to be Rita Lawson and not Monica Pearson.

DO NOT CONTACT THIS WEBSITE! From the start, the website is very sketchy, they have no contact information and I had to ask for their name and number over email. They refused to accept me sending money via PayPal as a business(so my money is protected) and INSISTED I send it as friends and family. They refunded my money because I sent it as a business and refused to accept it any other way. Even went as far to suggest using a visa gift card. Claimed they tried working with a way I felt comfortable with, but they were indeed not making me comfortable. I’m glad my money was rejected because this is a complete scam. And kept avoiding my questions. Their PayPal info did not match their name they gave me either and tried having me send it to an email that would convert to British pounds.

I went on the website https://muglestonpitbullfarm.com/ to find a pit bull puppy. They told me I had to put a down payment on the dog to reserve it , I then put $350 at first and then this week I paid $500 for the rest of the dog . I was then told I had to pay a $60 fee for them holding onto her for 2 weeks , for food and taking care of her . Then they told me I wasn’t allowed to drive and get her they said she had to be shipped and I was told that wouldn’t cost me anything at all . I then get told the dog is in the state of Connecticut . They sent me a tracking number that said she was shipped . I then get a call the next day from a guy in Oklahoma saying the dog is at the airport and couldn’t be shipped out because it cost $450 for the dog to be insured and it would be 100% refundable once she arrived at my house . And then today I was told I had to pay another $200 for the delivery service drop her off , I never received her . Below is the shipping information, I have many more screen shots and videos as proof of them scamming . The name of the pet service is MRW pet service. Mugleston pit bull had me pay them first threw Apple Pay for the $350 , and then I had to use Zelle threw Union savings bank . MRW pet service I had to pay them threw Zelle , and then a American Express visa gift card . And again the MRW pet service website is http://mrwpetservice.com/

They are probably not in OKC selling Teacup poodles but because they ask where you are from first when feeling out the form they then offer to deliver to your doorstep for $150 pretending they live near by but not close enough that you can go to them…I’m in Texas and offered to go to them and they said no which I then realized it was a scam and they would not FaceTime with the puppy

I found the website and emailed them about a cat they had for sale.

Originally, they texted me and told me to check my emails that I got a video and information about the adoption of this cat. They said since they had to ship the cat it would be $700 all together. Once they got my payment they never gave me a confirmation number and I did not receive a cat

- Colorado Springs, CO, USA

buy a puppy, they will ship it to you... once you pay then they need a special crate. The crate you need is not in stock for 500 so you need to pay 1000, then the puppy gets to a state that needs a permit not for an additional 1500.00 I called the airlines and that where it stopped for me. But if not it would keep going for an additional monies for this and that. and they tell you if you don't pay the nanny is 85.00 a day additional.

Cavapoo listed on FB Marketplace. The puppies name is Lily. They wanted $950 to purchase her and another $250 to transport/fly. They asked for Amazon Gift cards since relative does not have online banking. Also asking them to take photos of the gift cards; front/back. Our relative asked additional family what they thought. Upon researching, we found multiple ScamPulse.com complaints in regards to this location/same dog name/same dog age/same email address.

I attempted to purchase a puppy i saw on line. I initially sent them 950.00 which covered the cost of the puppy and the transportation to my home. I was contacted several times demanding money for…a temperature controlled crate, then more money for microchipping and vaccinating the puppy, then another demand for a city permit. Unfortunately i paid for everything but the city permit. That’s what alerted me … why a city permit. So i stopped all contact with these people. Unfortunately all of the money sent was Amex gift cards.

We needed an emotional support puppy and he said he needed a deposit of $200 and he was going to drive the puppy to us that Sunday and get the rest of the payment when he arrived. My husband zelled $200 to the email address he gave which was [email protected] this email may have been the second time he asked for money because the day before he was to bring the puppy he messaged again saying he needed the rest of the money before he left. We called him out on him going back on his word but in the end my husband agreed to send $150 more for him to make the trip. Sunday morning right before 9am I messaged him to see what time he was leaving and would be here and he said he was leaving soon. We didn’t hear from him again. No puppy no refund. I have some of the conversation.

March 1, 2023 I was going. Google searching dog breeders for a minute schnauzers for my children because we lost our loved family pet to cancer last year. Ready to move on and get a new family pet we came across

https://www.coolschnauzershome.com

On the site I made a request for an 11 week old puppy by the name of Pipper. After texting and emails for two days we decided to purchase pipper as a family pet. Maimouma Blade asked that I Zelle her the money in the amount of 910..00 USD. Zelle didn’t work so she requested that I use only Vanilla Visa. I made the purchase and sent photos of the cards back and front in order for her to take the puppy off the website and for me to secure the bill of purchase for the puppy. I sent 1 gift card in the amount of 500.00 USD and a second for 410. USD. Shortly after that I received a fake copy of a bill of purchase with the 2025 SE 44th Street address and a email address for shipping the puppy that came at a refundable charge of 1200.00 US

The company name was Live Pet Shuttle LIVE PET SHUTTLE 1122 5th St, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (321) 701-5975 [email protected] and www.livepetshuttle.com With a tracking number for the puppy as LPS2236CA. The contact person was listed as William Joseph Woodburn Manager. This is when he requested the 1200.00 USD for the refundable pet insurance fee. I sent that as well to 321-701-5975 to a Ashlyn. Communication ended and I became worried because I had not heard back from the breeder or the pet shipping company. With some researching of my own. I have learned that the Cool Schnauzers Home web site and the Live Pet Shuttle was the same person just using different names, phone numbers, websites, and locations to make the scale look legitimate.

I also came across another victim DadBallz

We were interested in purchasing a puppy from a place in Florida. They linked us up with this company for the travel. $1200 for refundable insurance which would be refunded as soon as we received the puppy. When you talked to the person, you could hear all kinds of cell phones ringing in the background and only 1 agent able to help people. The whole thing stunk of a scam.

When I asked the person's name, he told me it was Simon Miller. Not a chance. They only collect payment through Apple Pay, Google Pay and Zelle. I asked them so send the info for payment and it was a very odd Yahoo email address and the person listed was not Simon Miller. Asked them what airline they use and he said Delta. Knew it was a scam. The website seems light. This was filed on the website people finder. Using the phone numbers and addresses that the scanners provided.

I have been scammed for 2,200. Dollars, but that is not why am reporting this online crime they are a husband and wife team that both have degrees in Computer Science, Digital Marketing and program management. They are a threat to our country, communities and society and should be stopped and convicted as soon as possible. Please look into whom I believe to be the true criminals Aissatou Blade and her husband Alpha Blade many different names but are all connected and come back to these two people. Thank you for your time and the good work that you do. Please help remove both websites from google.

We also contacted them on text and email. They are still sellling the same dog and called me a Karen because i am on to them and told them to give my daughter back her money

- Jensen Beach, FL, USA

My husband and I were looking to adopt a puppy. I started following a cockapoo adoption and rehoming Facebook page where I met the “admin” of the group named Tarpley Constance. She reported herself to be a breeder of cockapoo puppies located in Nashville, TN. I spoke with her for a long while regarding the process via Facebook. She sent pictures of the puppies to me and I reserved one. I sent her a payment for $500 through Zelle. I drove 2.5 hours to pick the puppy up. The morning before I left she texted me verifying I was coming. When I got to the location, it was a vacant house. She then blocked me from the Facebook group and blocked my number.

Claim to be selling mini Bernedoodles complete with photos & videos of dogs. Very responsive. Red flag was to send $$ prior to face timing with the dog

I met a women on Facebook that rehoming/adoption teacup yorkies. I was interested in the small dog for my son and I since this would be his first dog. We agreed for me to purchase the dog for $150.00 so I went to my local Walgreens to purchase a gift card. I still have the gift cards and receipts for proof. Everything was good from here. They said the would go to the airport at 8:00am to get the puppy on the flight as soon as possible. Supposedly while they were there the puppy didn’t have the right shots so I paid $500 to try and get this baby home safely. Well then I’m waiting on a txt message from the dog nanny and I paid another $500 for stamps and shots. For the nanny to supposedly leave the airport. The supposedly the nanny couldn’t leave because of the registration wasn’t correct. So they asked for more money of course in the amount of $1000.00. Then I offered to pick it up and told me to hurry before the baby got on the next flight to go back home. So I did and supposedly the nanny was on the flight already. So I’m out $2000.00 and no puppy to show for it.

I found springs vizsla kennel when I was searching online for a vizsla. They had great pictures of the puppies and good testimonials. I emailed my interest and the supposed breeder (Dove Foster) emailed me back about the vizsla Bella we were interested in. We went back and forth with information about our family and I sent a picture of us and they seemed to do their due diligence in making sure we would take good care of Bella. He wrote up a contract and sent to us for me to sign and then sent me their zelle information. It wasn’t to Dove Foster, but to Matthew Scales?? We sent 900.00 which was for the dog and the shipping to us. Dove said he sent the puppy today and would receive today, but then I received a phone call from the shippers([email protected]) to purchase or rent an air conditioned crate for our dog for 990.00 which we would get back 970.00 of it. I tried to send the money, but my bank thankfully put a hold on it. I realized then I couldn’t get ahold of the breeder and that this whole thing was a scam, and we were never getting our Bella.

Promoted a website selling English Bulldog puppies. Stated the puppies were going for $600 with a shipping cost of $150. When Zelle payment didn’t work , we used the prepaid gift card they asked for. 24hrs later we were expected to receive our puppy from the airport. An email from a “third party” stated we needed to send $1500 in order for the puppy to be in a safe crate. Only prepaid gift card is what was asked for. We realized we were scammed and did not fall for the $1500 payment. The $750 prepaid card now a balance of $0 as they used the money.

We contacted the seller on February 20, 2023, via email at [email protected] . Pictures of the puppy were sent Feb 20 and a price of $700 for the puppy plus $160 for shipping was agreed upon. Payment had to be made in either Zelle or Apple Pay. Zelle restricted daily payments so it was paid over 2 days, Feb 21 and 22. Once payment was confirmed, shipping was arranged, and information was provided that the shipper would contact us when the puppy was ready to be shipped.

We were contacted by the shipper on February 23. A call on Feb 23 AM was received requesting payment for Pet Insurance following an email requesting it that went into Spam.

The shipper's email address is [email protected], their PayPal email is [email protected], and the payment method was "friends and Family" in PayPal. The payment was to be reimbursed upon picking up the pet at the airport or upon home delivery. This was to ensure we showed up for pickup. The payment was made on Feb 23 to Nagata Enterprice, Bank Name, Chase, Routing number 02100021, Account Number 997975088. Shipping confirmation was received for delivery to Santa Barbara, CA airport on Feb 23. An email on Feb 23 indicated the flight was delayed and would get in too late to be able to deliver the 10 pets on the flight. Delivery would be on a flight the following day, Feb 24. An email on Feb 24 indicated a glitch that 4 pets, ours included, would require a special climate-controlled crate in order to be taken from Denver to Santa Barbara per airport officials. This would require us to pay an additional $2,450 for the crate to purchase one or $1190 to rent a crate. The rental would cover 90% of the crate cost or 100% of the crate rental through the insurance we purchased. We did not answer, and contact was cut off when we did not pay the additional fees.

We began looking up the seller and shipper info in a deeper dive and found scams tied to the seller’s address and the names associated with the puppy farm, the phone number, and the shipper. We contacted the only airline that had matching flights to what we were presented, United Airlines, and found that they did not have the crate restriction mentioned but also would not have transported 10 pets on a plane at one time. A check of ScamPulse.com complaints found an identical experience in a complaint.

We were lucky enough to stop when we did, but we likely will not recover the funds sent through PayPal after submitting them to their fraud division. Our Zelle payments will not be recovered.
