Puppy Scam Reports & Reviews (513)

I contacted the individuals through the email listed on the website and got what seemed like an automated reply back. After multiple emails back and forth realizes discrepancies in the information provided from one email to the next, for example: the total price on one email differed from the next, the puppies name was not correct and the forms of payment changed from only zelle or venmo to only zelle or cash app. The company refused to take credit cards or anything other than zelle or cash app. They wanted me to send a screenshot when payment was sent. My bank flagged the wire transfer for my security and "robert" immediately called me questioning why the payment didn't go through so I explained the situation and told him I'd follow up the next day. The next day "robert" called 2-3 times while I was at work (to inquire about the money) but never left a voice-mail or sent an email. When I Googled the phone number a scam had been reported just a different company name and "robert" claimed "someone was using their credentials to scam". I also asked if they had any reviews anywhere other than like 4 on their website and they do not which is another red flag. I am not saying they are a scam 100% but it was enough for me to back out and when I did, they never responded.

My wife tried to purchase a cavapoo puppy from Heavenly Love Cavapoo, a registered breeder out of Colorado Springs. Their website offered puppy at $950.00 plus $250.00 for shipping or delivery. They wanted payment through cash apps and at one point said she could just photo copy the front and back of her debit card and they could use that for payment. So she used a cash app and everything with the "breeder" seemed OK. However, they said they used https://bestdeliveryagency.com/pet-services/ the Best Delivery Company for the shipping of the puppy. The "shipping company" contacted my wife through email in broken English and poor grammar and said we needed to put an $850 deposit down on a better heated shipping crate due to the weather. They said she would get her money back upon arrival of the puppy. Once she agreed to this they then came back to her and said they were out of the $850 crates and she should reserve the more expensive crate for $1450. After that they said the puppy needed to receive a COVID shot before shipping for another $650. She refused to pay this and then realized she was being scammed. Her communication with the shipping company was only through email. They provided no phone number. We never received another reply from either the breeder or the shipping company.

I wanted to purchase a puppy from them but the address Givin did not match the name and when I looked up the seller her name was Karen and she didn't have any puppies currently for sale. The person Identified as James. Nothing was adding up. So I didn't send the money or any information.

This website stole my puppy's pictures from his Instagram and made a fake advertisement with his picture trying to scam people by making them think he was bred by them and for sale

My name is Jessica Brown. I met Brittany Frymyer on a Facebook group for Corgi puppies. I began speaking to her at the end of November 2022. The pick up date for the puppy would be January 17, 2023. On her first message it was said the puppy would be akc registered. I was required to make a $125 deposit. I spoke to her for months and made payments. She set up a deal with me if I paid early whatever I paid that amount would be doubled toward my balance. I asked her multiple times if there was a specific time she needed to meet on pickup day. She kept saying anytime. I drove three hours and she left me waiting at a McDonald’s for two hours. Her mother finally brought the puppy. The puppy was so dirty and had fleas. I was supposed to get a puppy pack with the puppy vet information and registration papers and did not get it. I mess her for a week after asking for the papers I need. She kept saying she mailed them. She is now saying the puppy's mothers registration is not complete so now I can’t AKC register my puppy. This has been an awful experience. I hope something is done about this women. She does not need to be able to breed animals. Thank you for your time.

I had to pay for extra services to get dog plus had to get gift cards and send pics of them which they had me send money through Zelle said they didn’t recieve it so send again they used gift cards I called on balances. Paid through pay pal said it didn’t come through so send again.

I was online looking for possible dachshund puppies.

I contacted this site (https://parkerdachshundfarm.site/puppies-available/) about a particular puppy and was engaged immediately through text messages and questions and answers.

After getting all my questions answered I agreed to purchase a puppy and was emailed the contract attached. The contract was for the purchase of the puppy for $500 and an extra $130 for shipping cost. I paid $630 to the seller and several days later was contacted by a shipping company.

The shipping company wanted to charge me $1000.+ to ship the dog so I contacted the owner and said I already paid you for shipping the dog.

They said that there was a problem with the shipping and I would have to pay over $1000 to get the dog shipped to me. I did not receive the puppy and did not receive any other communication. I contacted the shipping company again and said I already paid for the shipping through the purchase of the dog and then try to contact this person/company.

They will not refund my money. They said they gave the dog to the shipper, and no longer have the dog. I’m wondering if the shipping company is a scam as well?

I want to buy the puppy

He ask me to pay by Zelle and add the note Family Emergency

I found their website online as I was looking for Bernedoodle breeders. I reached out to through the website and then they contacted me via email. I asked for detailed information on a specific puppy posted and they were very brief. They claimed the puppy’s parents were AKC registered so I asked for documentation and they couldn’t give it to me. I told them I needed proof that this wasn’t a scam and they stopped responding. I almost paid them $1,175 for a puppy that most likely doesn’t exist. I have emails if needed for more info.

Purchased a newf puppy . Email and text all seeing normal. Deposited 400 was also normal. Only thing I didn't like is it was through Zelle. They got all my personal information for shipping. Then they ask for the other part of the money usually you don't do that until the puppy arrives. This is when I started getting suspicious. I get a second text from a different number claiming to be the courier. And they gave me a different Zelle account to send the rest of the money. I called the scammer out on the 1st line and they claim they would send my 400 back because I told them I could go to business bureau and post everywhere and use resources I could. Of course they never did nor did I get my puppy. He even sent pictures of him doing different things so they had to have stolen this off of the legitimate site somewhere.

Looked up yorkie puppy online for purchase came across website inquired about a puppy named Eva was send an email with more pics and asked to answer some pre adoption questions kept emailing ask someone to call a man called asked us if we were interested in puppy but then him up fast and emailed about call, emailed some more and was told I’d get a contract and flight info and documents once puppy is registered for shipping ext…. Did receive contract after I paid $780 through cash app $kee1329 the contract was not signed by name on contract which was Keona Jeffries who the man claimed was his wife and whose name came up on cash app. Which made me skeptical then I continued to be persistent with shipping info etc and we made a plan to ship dog after holidays. 1/2 contacted them again for shipping info they said they just registered dog and to check email because the company American pets relocator sent me an email in this email they asked for more money for special thermal crate for shipping and said I’d get a 95% refund of crate once it’s returned the crate was 1250 well at that point I knew it was no good and I asked for a refund of money sent for dog they said they don’t do refunds but can help with help of crate price I said no and then sent refund request on cash app for money back over and over with no response I emailed also and again no response

11/13/2022 My niece’s friends FB account was hacked. The hacker posted was rehoming puppies for $400. Wanted deposit of $200. Conversation back and forth and person requested it to be paid by PayPal. It wasn’t until they requested a screenshot of the PayPal payment I got suspicious. I contacted my niece about her friend and that’s when I found out his account had been hacked and there where no puppies. I have screenshots of the conversation couldn’t figure out a way to copy it. I contacted PayPal and my credit card company within minutes of the transaction but they both failed me.

Scam began with the purchase of the puppy and the shipment dated was to be December 27 thru Blue Line Courier Logistics LC. They kept adding fees which they said would be refundable at the time of delivery. However, I finally contacted the police department in which they told me not to send any more monies as this was a scam and that they would keep pushing for other monies. I was told by the courier service that the final payment was for a Cite Fee to certify the puppy and still needed $1000 more to complete the transaction and puppy would be sent in which I said I would not be sending any more money. They then told me if I did not send this money that I would be turned over and a law suit would be filed for puppy abandonment. I am attaching a written report of the transactions that occurred and the list of gift cards that were sent. I'm also attaching the the contract that was signed and the initial shipment tracking from Blue Line - never received another report. The phone number they were calling from is 717-850-5353.

I have also filed a report with the police department and sent a report to FTC.

Was hoping to adopt or purchase a yorkie found a secure website so I thought online inquired about a puppy and cost and it was out of state so I asked if we could go get it or have it shipped and how much we looked up business on ScamPulse.com found nothing researched a little and emailed back n fourth until felt comfortable even asked for someone to call and a man did asked a few questions then continued with the emails made the decision to go ahead and purchase was informed I would be send a contract for dog and receipt of payment documents I can then use to pick up dog after it arrives. Started to feel uneasy after a few emails were contradictions of the website but I had already cash app the money and they continued to assure me that the dog will be shipped out on 1/2/23 due to the holidays and I would be given a tracking number ect…. Well then came the kicker they said they registered my puppy to me cargo through American pets relocator but then I recieved the shipping arrangement and tracking number but was told the puppy needed a thermal crate for transport and it was over $1000 and I’ll get a refund of 95% of my money once crate is returned I was floored because in contract the total cost for dog and shipping was $780 no mention of a crate to buy/rent ect I also did some verifying of the website and noticed it was the same number as the yorkie breeder I got dog from but they were separate businesses so I guess it was a scam and the guy ran both sites the contract was a generic one and the shipping was all him too so I asked for a refund on the $780 and said forget it because it was getting too expensive for what I had in the bank and since we didn’t get what we contracted for and on time the contract was void. He said they don’t do refunds but tried to say they would pay half of the crate price if I paid half and yet that would have been another $600 I would have had to get to them I said no and that I just wanted the money returned now he hasn’t responded of course and I called him out and I requested a refund payment on cash app of $780 and nothing has been returned to me as of yet. So in the mean time I’m gonna report his “businesses” to everyone so he doesn’t do this to someone else

I bought a Great Dane puppy to be flown to me. They asked for more money for a carrier. I split the cost with them. We went to the airport to pick her up and no puppy was on the flight. Then they claim the puppy was on hold in Dallas and I needed insurance on her. I said no and there is no more contact.

- Liverpool, NY, USA
