I clicked on the link thinking It was true and submitted my information. Then it asked me to insert my card to pay for it but I exited it out to find out on google if usps charged for redelivery. I found out the don’t so When I went back to the page to remove my info it took me to Cloudfare a different website.

Someone texted me pretending to be capitol one and told me to comfirm a transfer i supposedely made and tild me if i didnt do it to tap on a link. I received this text on 12/13/2022. The website looked legit, until it said there is a fee to redeliver packages and asked for my credit card info. I did not put any info in, and did some research and found this is becoming a common scam because the website looks exactly like the real USPS website.

Scammer pretended to be a postal service and sent a message saying a package could not be delivered to my address because it did not match the street address and it needed updated information including current address and a payment method to charge for a redeliver fee of 9 cents

I recently moved and have been having issues changing my address and it looked legit. I was asked to pay 9 cents for redelivery fee. I added my information and my debit card info and when I was submitting it I realized it was probably a scam. I’m not sure if it went through but I have cancelled my debit card in case it did.
