I keep getting a pre recorded message saying that I'm going to have legal action taken against me for fraudulent activity with my social security number. It asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. I pressed 1 and a guy came on, he did not know who I was and it seemed like he knew nothing about"fraudulent activity"" either. He kept trying to get info from me which I didn't give out.

I had a very threatening phone call with someone claiming to be with the Social Security Administration. The whole thing was hard to hear but they were saying that my SSN was being used Illegitimately and this was my last warning to get things fixed before my assets and number were to be frozen. They provided a case number and everything. The language might be off a little but I think this was the gist of it. This was at 11:28am this morning and they have called before.

My mother heard him talking about fraudulent activity being used. My mother interjected and ask if I had gave the man my social security number. My mother informed me that you never give your social security number out to anyone over the telephone. My mother ask the man who he was and who do he work for. The man said have a nice day and hung up. the number they called from is 1-844-312-8787. Left a message to call 1-844-330-9706.

No real story other than I got a voice mail that the Social Security Administration was about to suspend my account number because they found some fraudulent and illegal activity on my account. They said for me to call immediately to discuss. I, of course, did not call as I knew it to be a scam since Government offices to not call for things like this, they send letters, and they will never suspend you SSAN.

Registry. Caller ID read 800-968-6653. It was an

automated recording that said it was the SSA calling

to tell me my SSN had been suspended because of

suspicious activity. Instructed me to press 1 to

speak with a designated agent. I pressed 1, and the

phone rang and rang. The phone was never answered and

eventually it disconnected on its own. Caller ID read 800-968-6653.
