I am writing to inform you of the calls I have received today since 8:16 am. As of right now I have received 10 voicemails and 11 total calls from 1-734-418-3136. After the 2nd call I decided to return their call and the man on the other line answered the phone with a "hello" instead of who the business was. He asked for my name because I called from my office and I absolutely refused to give it to him, even though he already knew it because he ended up repeating it to me. After this, they called me back another 2 times and so I decided (probably out of bad judgement) to call back. It was the same man as before and he answered the phone this time as the "Social Security Administration". He told me he had authorization from the US Marshall to deactivate my SSN and he apparently did not like it when I responded with a "you cannot do that". I told him I did not believe him and to stop calling me. Our conversation was somewhat heated because he was trying to intimidate me. I do not know what he was wanting to get from me because I never allowed him to ask me for information or money. As I am typing this email, I just received another call. So, since 8:16 am I have had a total of 12 calls...they appear to be coming every 20-30 minutes now. I have blocked this number but I still receive the voicemails. I'm not sure of what to do now and it feels as if I am being harassed because he did not get what he wanted from me. I have attached a screenshot of my mailbox to verify that I have been receiving these calls.
