On August 6, 2023 I filled out the Renewal Application for the Texas DPS. When I finished filling out the app, a message came into view. This message read "Would you like to pay for this now?" (Paraphrasing) I answered in the affirmative. Thinking I was still on a secure website for TXDPS, I entered all my information including my SS#, my credit card #, my security code. Upon checking my "bank's" statement the amount of $34.95 was charged by this company to my MC. Upon visiting my local TXDPS, I asked if they had received the payment. No, they did not. Their comment was "You were scammed."
I have contacted my financial institution in Fort Worth TX so that they can investigate.
I inquired on the Minneapolis MN ScamPulse.com website and there was no record of STATE DLS on Thomas Ave in MN.
I will also be contacting the company by as many methods as possible to ask for a refund, especially since I talked to no one and received no merchandise or items from them.
