On 9/6/24 I went to the credit union and found that my credit card had also been charged an additional $79.95. I didn’t know anything about this charge. I only paid for the $7.95 that I agreed to.
At home, I called them at the number that the credit union had given me for the transactions, 866-426-4802. I was told they would cancel everything and was given a confirmation code of KC021. They said they wouldn’t do anything without the code.
On August 11th I check my account again and there was no refund.
On August 20th the charge was still there. I called them again and spoke to Jenny. She said they could not take the charge off of my account. I said I was going to see a lawyer. I went back to the credit union and we filed a cardholder dispute.
At 4pm that day, 20th, Jenny called back and said she had talked to her boss. They offered to give me half back. I did not agree to this. Jenny said that if I agreed to the half that I could not turn them in.
On 9/27/24 I went to the credit union and paid the balance on my credit card which was the $79.95 so it didn’t affect my credit or cost late fees.
