I got an email from [email protected] about a trademark filing. It looked official and said I needed to pay a fee to USTPO.GOV, which I thought was the US Patent Office. I paid $324.84. Later, I found out it's a scam website pretending to be the real government office. I tried calling the number they gave, (301) 615-9344, but it just goes to voicemail in MD, USA. They are stealing money from people who think they are dealing with the real patent office.
